One day, PoikSpirit was walking down the streets of PVF Land, making his way somewhere for reasons unknown. On his way there, he had the unfortunate experience of being attacked by a Rabid Poodle. However, via a secret source, he had been equipped with Anti-Poodle spray, which easily eliminated the threat. Obviously, this poodle had to be the work of the mafia, after all, they're the ONLY source of evil present; so the townspeople gathered together and used the sometimes tried-and-true method of randomly pointing fingers at people until someone gets executed.
Summary: Poik almost got murdered but was saved. Vote now.

I think it was Poik who attacked Poik, because that's just how Poik is. Now Poik is trying to mislead us by being Poik and voting Poik, leading us away from Poik, saving Poik and allowing Poik to win.
I'll vote Poik...Unless, people will deduce that I am the Mafia, because I want to vote Poik to death because my plan of Poiklessness failed, and now Poik is trying to lure me to vote for Poik and expose myself. Therefore, I must be the Mafia! Unless Poik, being the Mafia and a mind reader, knew this would happen and targeted Poik for this very reason, convincing everyone to vote me to death, letting Poik live to kill again!
