Kusa grabbed Yuki's wrist and lifted her up off the floor, taking the sword from her. "Yuki, what do you think you're doing?", he asked, dropping the sword to the floor.
Rune entered the room as well and saw the scene. He blinked, but decided not to ask. Instead he walked over to Rath and picked him up, carefully holding him. "I would assume that things have gone crazy again?", he asked his younger sibling.

(Er, last couple of posts got me really confused--since I thought we were still in the streets of Seireitei--but I'll just assume we're in the general relief station now.)
Kiku glared at Yuki through a film of tears, dropping all efforts to be polite. "What's wrong with you?!" she burst out, her hands clenched into fists. "I thought you'd be a nice person, maybe even a friend! You started out acting that way, but now, you call me names, you're rude to your superiors, you needlessly injure those already wounded, and then you act like you've done nothing wrong! Why? Why don't you seem to care what the rest of us think?" She remained glaring at Yuki for a few more moments, then turned to Rai and sealed his injury much faster than she usually would've taken. She was trying hard not to cry out loud.
At that moment, Yume walked through the doorway. "Hey guys. What'd I mi-" She stopped, taking in the situation: Kusa holding Yuki in midair, Kiku fighting back tears, the bloodied sword on the ground. Her expression hardened ever so slightly. "Excuse me for asking, but what just happened?"

Bael was panting slightly, cringing, glad at the sudden topic change. He eventually gathered enough strength to get up and stand. He walked over to Kiku, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You should go to your room, rest. You've had a rough day." He calmly told her.

"Yuki, your behaviour has us all concerned and upset. Please tell us what's going on. Or can you really not remember what you've just done?", he asked, considering the possibility.
Rune walked over with Rath to Yume so that he could fill her in. "I believe that young Yuki came in and began screaming, then drew her sword and stabbed the quincy in his arm. As to why she did it, Kusa-kun is trying to figure that out.", he explained.
Kaoru watched Bael try to calm Kiku and even though he was glad for it, he couldn't help but feel that Bael was trying to avoid answering his question. He sighed softly and decided not to confront the shinigami on the subject again.

Kusa watched Yuki walk out of the station before realizing that he was still holding her zanpakuto. He decided on going to return it to her, since she seemed to be acting normal right now. Without saying a word to anyone, he exited the station as well. Unfortunately, Yuki wasn't the girl he met outside. It was another girl around Yuki's age and height. He blinked, unable to recognize her. "Um... Hello... What are you doing here, little one?", he asked the girl calmly.
Rune decided that he should be leaving as well, and Rath along with him. He looked at his younger brother and smiled. "Let's get going, shall we?", he said. It was then that he heard Kusa's voice coming from outside the station. He thought that perhaps he was talking to Yuki, but it didn't sound like it. "Is that boy talking to himself or something...?", he muttered softly.
Rune decided that he should be leaving as well, and Rath along with him. He looked at his younger brother and smiled. "Let's get going, shall we?", he said. The look in the little girl's eyes sent a chill down Kusa's spine. He stood frozen to the spot for just a moment and then slid Yuki's sword into his obi. From a custom holster that sat across his back, he slowly drew his naginata. Then he glanced back at the relief station. "Hey, guys! We've got more trouble!", he called out, turning back to the child. "Sorry, but we can't just let you take him." Kusa then raised the weapon and threw a swift strike at her.
Kaoru jumped slightly as he heard his younger brother's cries from outside the station. The particular word, "trouble" caught his attention and he quickly hurried to the door, his hand going for his fan without truly thinking about it. He reached the door and looked out, immediately spotting Kusa and another young child. She could have passed for Yuki but Kaoru could tell it was not her. His fan was open and prepared as soon as he stepped out of the door.
Rune watched Kaoru leave to assist Kusa, but he did not move from where he was standing. Rath was still clutched protectively within his arms. Yume audibly groaned upon hearing Kusa's warning. "Again? Geez, and I haven't completely recovered yet from using bankai." She made a face, turned to Rai, and told him, "Please stay where you are. We'll do our best to keep you from the enemy's hands. I can't believe I just so sounded so cliche." She turned to stand the doorway, drew her sword, and waited. After a while, water trickled slowly down the blade, and the braid and tassel reappeared. Yume created a group ice birds and sent them flying down the hallway toward the location of conflict.
Kiku, meanwhile, was following Bael outside, clutching Kagebana in one hand. She didn't know what she'd be able to do with it, but she hoped that she would be able to fully heal Bael by transferring his Cero-inflicted injuries onto their new opponent. That was assuming she could injure said opponent at all...

Kusa could barely process what had happened during the next few seconds. His naginata was headed straight for the little girl, but she was suddenly gone. He didn't even have time to react before he felt a sharp pain all over his body. Then he was lying on the floor with his own blood pulling around him. "How did she...?", he muttered, coughing slightly.
Kaoru saw Kusa fall and was immediately aware that their opponent was directly behind him. His fan was still in his hand but he didn't dare to try and attack her when she was that close. Instead, he remained perfectly still and calm with the knowledge that their friends were coming to help right now. "I am sorry... but we have our orders to defend the quincy from danger.", he said.
Rune followed after Rath, his hand going for the hilt of his katana. "Perfect...", he muttered. "Rath, wait up!"
