After thinking for sometime, Alex saw his watch and saw that it was time. He got up and felt awake and able to move without having to sit back down. Alex moved across the dance floor and found Nikka with another guy. He smiled and waited for the song to end to take his hand with Nikka.

Nikka snapped back into reality as Thomas backed away slightly. She glanced up, and smiled warmly at Alex. It was good to see him up again, especially after what had happened to him. She curtsied to Thomas again, and joined Alex.

Alex gave his hand to Nikka, and started to move his feet infront of her. Taking his sweet time, he guided her through the mess of people to a spot with room. He didn't like others around him, even when he danced. Yet he didn't care now that he was going to be happy again. Spinning Nikka around, Alex put his arms on her back and started to do a very slow dance.

Nikka smiled, and let Alex guide her. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and felt completely at ease. For once, she felt whole. She felt her problems slip away as she danced.

Alex felt warm inside as they moved from one side to the other. He put his hand on her check, and smiled at Nikka as his eyes stared into hers.

Nikka smiled up at Alex. She felt free. Free from her problems, her memories. She was happy, just swaying. Nikka placed her hand over his when he touched her cheek. This moment seemed perfect..

After a song, Alex felt weak again. He looked at the clock and saw that they were at this for more then a couple of hours. Alex also felt sick to his stomach too.

Nikka glanced up, concerned. "What's wrong...?" she asked quietly, looking around the room. A few couples were leaving now. She looked back at Alex. Was he ill again?

Was it the stuff he took gave him a bad side effect? Or was it the music and the time being on his feet? Alex took his hands off of Nikka's back and started to walk away. Yet without warning, he fainted.

Nikka's eyes widened, and she sprinted to his side, stumbling a few times. "Alex?!" she exclaimed. She blinked, and glanced up at the rest of the vampires in the room. Most had stopped dancing, and were shooting concerned glances their way. Without thinking, Nikka slung his arm over her shoulders, and half dragged him out of the room. She looked either way, and sighed, setting him against a wall. She would move him to his room if she needed to, but she wanted to see what was wrong first.

Alex opened his eyes some to see what happened, but he was out in the hall. Away from the other people, yet Nikka was there with him.

Nikka smiled slightly when Alex opened his eyes. She was still concerned though. She kneeled next to him, keeping the dress from getting in the way, and tilted her head. "You alright..?" she asked slowly, brushing hair away from his face.

"Nothing is all right when you don't have control over nothing. We seek understanding, but the ideals from things is nothing to know." Alex closed his eyes again.

Nikka blinked, and tried to understand what he meant, with no avail. She sighed, and picked him up again. Slowly, she began to take him back up to his room. When she got there, she laid him on the bed softly, pulled a chair up, and fell asleep watching over him.

Breaking his mind, Alex could feel himself get up and move around. Taking a while to realize that he was in his bed, Alex opened his eyes and saw Nikka there asleep. He got up and moved Nikka and not waking her and put her on his bed. Putting a blanket on the floor, he put his arm like a pillow and fell asleep again but on the floor.
