Leaving the store, Alex shoved Nikka a bag, and started to head to the graveyard. It was only a few blocks out of town and he wanted to get there as soon as possible. With him also was a bag of the same stuff in it.

"Don't hurt Rick in any form. He's a very good friend of mine and he gives me what I want without questions. A big risk for him. Freash blood too for a gift to us. Yet I wasn't there for this gem nor the gun, just the flowers and we better hurry. Its almost time." Alex then crossed a path and headed for one gravestone.

"I wasn't going to.." Nikka mumbled, in a foul mood. She took the bag without questions though, and followed Alex obediantly. A fresh wave of confusion hit her, but again, she kept it to herself.

Around the gravestone was tall grass that Alex pulled off to see the name of who it belonged to: Katie Lee Halthings. Born: August 16, ??? Died: August 26, ???. Died at 6:00p.m. on deathbed. "Don't give up as you will never get a second chance. Yet never turn around to the tears that we will always have." Love Mom, Dad, Alex.

Alex put the flowers beside the marker and had tears in his eyes. "And its 6:00p.m. August 26. The time I told her I will be here for her every year. Even if I was sick."

Nikka blinked back tears of her own, and kneeled next to the gravestone.
"I'm sorry.." she murmered, touching the stone softly. She had never known the girl, but she felt that she should pay her respects anyway. For Alex, and herself.

Only a few tears excaped from Alex, mostly because he cried all the time the next week after his sisters death. Now he just felt sorry and wanted to be with her even more. Yet the time had came.

After a couple of hours of sitting there, Alex got up. "Time to go back home, Nikka. I will rest and feel better in the morning."

Nikka glanced up with bloodshot eyes, and nodded slightly.
"Alright.." she said quietly, getting to her feet. Her thirst was driving her insane, but she would hold back until they got to the mansion. There was more wildlife there.

Alex saw that Nikka was weak and so he lifted her up and carried her back to the mansion. She felt light, and he was surprised about that. Yet he wanted to get back too, and the blood that was waiting in everyone rooms. Alex felt the box as Nikka kicked at it a couple of times, but that didn't worry him. He was happy, for the few times he was.

Nikka tilted her head slightly before Alex picked her up. When he did, she felt her face heat. She buried her face in the sleeve of her sweatshirt, and closed her eyes. Nikka was tired, but she wasn't going to sleep yet.

Inside the mansion, Alex took Nikka to her room, he was also weak, but he wanted her to feed first. His hands softly touched her skin, and moved the blood from her bed. He put her nicely on the bed, opened it up, and drained it into a cup. Alex knew that the blood was cold so he left for a second to warm it up.

After a few minutes he came back and laid the cup by her nightstand, and left the room, closing the door as he left. Alex then went to his room and pushed a hole into his blood. He drinked it down fast and then reached and drinked the next one right beside him.

Nikka was half asleep when Alex put her on the bed. When he left to warm the blood up, she mumbled something under her breath, and pushed her way under the blankets. She was colder than usual, and she closed her eyes. When he returned she didn't move until he left. Nikka yawned, and sat up. She picked up the cup, and drank slowly. She didn't want to drink it too quickly, nor too slowly. As soon as she finished, Nikka felt a tierdness sweep over her. She yawned again, and laid back down, pulling the blankets tightly around herself.

Alex was warm when he got up the next morning, but was still in wonder. What if today isn't like yesterday. He moved that from his thoughts as he got up to dress. Alex moved from one closet to the other and then found something he never put on. Looking into the mirror when he was done, he looked like a prince.

Going downstairs he passed the main hall and walked to the library to read and drink his last blood sack.

Nikka yawned, and sat up. The blood had given her an extra boost of energy, and all she wanted to do was sleep. She sighed, and got up, putting her shoes on quickly. Nikka walked across the room, and put on a light sweatshirt, then left her room. She knew where she was headed, so she walked quickly outside. The garden was bathed in moonlight again, and she smiled, sitting on a bench near the edge of it.

Fallen asleep, Alex dreamed of his early childhood. The happy times he had, and then the sad times. He was going through the accident of his sister, when he woken up and had tears in his eyes. He moved his head from one side of the room to the next and saw no one there. Alex then cried and fell right back asleep again.

Nikka stretched herself out, and yawned. The boost of energy was wearing off, and she probably needed to sleep. But she felt to tired to move, so, she laid down on the bench, and used her arm as a pillow. Nikka's eyes fluttered shut, and she fell asleep.
