"Well look, its Roark! We can finally fight him now! Ok Crystal, you go first"

As Marley walked up to Roark, a small boy charged up to him, then suddenly stopped.
"Erm... I didn't realize how b-big you are. Um, I need t-to battle you as m-my job..."
"Wimp..." Jason looked off into the distance for a while.
"Sorry, but I need to fight for Roark, and for this gym."

"Can't we do this in the actual gym instead? These mines are kinda-" Troy was interrupted by a low rumbling sound. "...Hungry?" Suddenly, a section of the cieling collapsed, leaving the group unharmed, but seperated by a thibk wall of rock.
"Holy-" *cough* "-crap!" *cough* "Stupid dust allergies! Is anyone dead?"
Were you even paying attention to me? I just said-
"Shut up, Doodleshark."

I can use Cyndaquil's fire to melt the rock, but that might raise the temperature to an unsafe level, oh and Troy?

"Yeah, or we could-" Troy was interrupted by sinister laughter coming from the shadows. "Oh, God no..."
"That's right, it's us! Team Black Hole! Now say the motto, Jim!"
"Huh? I forgot how the motto goes. It's too long and-"
"You forgot the motto?" Jenna hit Jim. "You idiot! The motto is the heart and soul of any evil team!"
"Hey, dumbasses! Stay focused! We're here to steal this brat's Pokemon, right? That's why we collapsed the roof, so we could take 'em out one by one instead of gettin' gangbeaten like we usually do."
"You caused the cave-in? You could have killed somebody!"
"That's beside the point. Now fight us!"
"Fine. Go, Kricketot!"
"Sucker!"
"Huh?!?"
"We weren't actually going to fight you, instead we were gonna use this!" Jim pulled a bazooka seemingly out of nowhere. "Meet the Netshooter 8000. Guaranteed to steal small Pokemon or your money back!" Jim fired the Netshooter 8000 and captured Kricketot in a net. Jim, Jenna, and Glameow then procedeed to run away with Kricketot in tow.
"Hey! Get back here!" Troy ran after them. Suddeenly, however, Kricketot started to glow, then evolved into Kricketune! Kricketune easily cut through the net with its scythe-like arms and ran back to Troy.
"Wow, Kricke- Well, I guess I can't call you Kricketot anymore, now can I?" Troy flipped open his Pokeedex. "Let's see... Kricketune! You evolved into Kricketune!" Troy heard a rumbling noise behind him, and turned around to see Roark tunneling through the rock wall with his Onix. "Are you okay?" He asked, and Troy nodded his head in reply. "Good, now let's get back to the gym."

Suddenly, a rock almost cruched jason but was divererted by Squirtle's Water Gun and the boy staggered up to his feet.
"That was close" Jason said, but was soon interrupted by sounds of more falling rocks...
"Come on, everyone, let's get back to the gym." Roark said over the sound,
"We won't want anymore rocks falling..." Without another word, the gang walked out of the mine.

"So whos first?"

Jason muttered under his breath, and then said "You gotta face me first, you know..."

"Go, Kecleon!"

"Hm..." Troy flipped open his POkedex and looked at the page on Kecleon. "So... His type changes to whatever type of attack hits it, eh? Well, no matter. Sneasel, use Quick Attack!"

Kecleon fell down and gasped, then got up and stared at Jason. "Oh, well. Faint attack, then!"

Sneasel took the hit but shook it off quickly. "Ha! A Dark-type attack won't work against a Dark-type Pokemon! Quick Attack again, Sneasel!"

Jason knew Kecleon was stuck. "Come back, Kecky! Go, Geodude!"

"You can't win! Use Ice Punch, Sneasel!"

At the punch a part of Geodude's rocky shell fell off
"...It doesn't matter, Geodude... use Rock Blast..." Geodude found and threw four pointed rocks at The Sneasel. The Sneasel fell down on it's back...

"Darn it! Stupid super effective Rock-type attacks..." Sneasel got up, but it was looking rather wobbly. "Better finish this quickly... One more Ive Punch!"

Geodude stood firm and took the him. "Use Rock Blast again!
Geodude threw a single rock at the Sneasel, and it fell to the floor...
