"A hand. Need to give you something that is in my room. Don't know if I can walk that far right now. Might have problems."

Alex then got out of the bed and moved his feet to the floor. Setting up was a bit hard but he forced himself to do it. But his hands where shacking and seemed like he would lose his balance again.

Nikka stood up quickly, helping Alex to steady himself.
"Alright.." she said, putting her own notebook down, "Just tell me where to go.."

"Remember the stairs at the front door? Go up there and its the only door at the end of the hallway. The other 2 doors are just the storage."

He started to walk and felt that he would get to his room sooner or later. Might take time.

Nikka nodded, and walked at Alex's pace. She wasn't sure she wanted to go ahed. She yawned slightly, and glanced over at him to make sure he was doing alright.

Moving a little faster, Alex kept up with Nikka and moved to the front of the house. At the stairs, he took one at a time and got to his room in a few minutes. He then took the key out of his pocket and opened it up. His room was 4 times as big as another bedroom in the house and 3 times bigger then Nikka's room. He then turned to her to see her expression.

Nikka blinked.
"Wow.." she said quietly, taking in each part of the room individually, commiting it to memory.
"So......what are we in here for..?" she asked, shaking her head slightly to clear the shock.

"It's a red package with a blue lines. Can't remember where I put it. Just got it a few days ago after my walk in the morning."

Nikka quietly began to look for it, picking things up only when she had to. She finally found the package in a drawer near his bed.
"Found it!" she called.

He went to her from the third closet he checked in his room. Alex also had with him a dress that seemed to sparkle in the light.

"Good. Open it, and this dress is for you too. Please be careful with each of these items. The dress was on my mom's side and was passed for many years. I've done a lot of study on it and found out that its made out of cloth with diamonds inside the threads. Worthless for me to have."

Then he put the dress on the bed. Then watched Nikka as she undid the package in her hands. Opening it, she was so interested in what was inside but was still not sure.

Nikka blinked as she looked at the dress.
"It's beutiful.." she murmered, touching the hem. She straightened up then, and began to take the ribbon off the package, unsure of what it could be. Nikka hesitantly took the top of the box off.

Inside the box was another black box like a ring or neckless was inside. With the fine leather of it was cold to the touch, yet it seemed firm. He was interested in her expression as she opened it up to show a neckless with a locket on the end. Alex then gave her a key to open it up and within seconds the lock clicked and the two pictures were of him and his sister, Katie.

"I went home to recover the rest of my things, sold the house and have it taken here for me to have with me. This is my home now. Untill i move out. That in your hands was also my mothers, and is made out of gold and gems of rare value. Yet that was to give to you. And the last thing I want to ask you was if you wanted to go to the dance with me on Saturday in the Great Hall? I want you to wear these things and be my date. I knew you were not asked yet, and most girls are afraid to ask me because they didn't know how I would respond to them. But I have opened my heart to you. And only you. Please go with me."

Nikka turned the locket in her hands, listening to Alex's words. She blinked in surprise a bit at first, and then smiled warmly at him.
"Of course I'll go with you..." she replied, sitting on the bed as well. She let her hands run over the dress once more, and looked up.
"You should know, I feel the same.." she added.

"I also think that everyone will be there, having fun, and a party like no other. Mortal people are invited, but the ones that aready know who and what we are. Just extra money to us for having it."

Alex then looked up and saw that Nikka had a couple of tears in her eyes. He felt weak of not being stronger then he should have.

"I've got to get to the store, what to come?"

Nikka glanced up, and nodded.
"Sure," she replied with a small smile, "Just let me put these in my room, and I'll be right back.."
With that, she picked up the dress and locket, and loped off into the hallway. She made her way back to her room quickly, and hung the dress in her closet carefully. Nikka looked at it for a while, and set the locket in one of her jewlery boxes. She quickly ran back to Alex's room, dodging a few other vampires on her way.

Alex saw a few vampires pass by him leaving the place, but he kept on waiting. Thinking of where he was to go now. He felt that he had eyes on him as he drifted into daydreaming.
