While everybody else was running like mad to the train station, Barnibus stayed put. "Nice try goomba, but Its going to take a lot more to fool me. Oh, and before you say anything, I have enought mushrooms." He said, holding up a backback with about 5 of the red and white shrooms. "Now, I assume that you are trying to save the Mario bros. right, because if you are, it'l take more then an oddly colored goomba and a small whomp."

"Well, yeah, but also, my whole village won't stop bloody whining about Mario! All I hear all day is 'Where's Mario?' and 'I miss Mario'. I'm here because I want some peace and quiet, and for everybody to just SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT MARIO ALREADY!!!!!"

Marley walked up to the assorted "people" in the line. "So this is the line? wow, i guess no one wants to save mario &luigi. But meh, less competition." He saw a goomba and a whomp and walked up to them. "You guys going for the tryouts too?"

"No, I'm sure this random collection of citizens just HAPPENS to be here at the exact same time as the so-called "try-outs". They're all here on vacation at the same time. Of course they're here for the tryouts!" said a very irate boo with a monocle. "And by the way, you're about the most unoriginal person I've ever seen. 'Free mushrooms at the train station'? If they wanted a mushroom so badly, they could have just as well eaten you!" he continued. He seeme rather upset about something.

There was a doll standing nearby, looking extremely aloof in a pirate's hat and coat. He didn't say anything, just got in 'line'.
{{Oh, and I lied. The pirate's hat isn't bobbery's hat at all-I had the wrong conception of what bobbery wore-it's a regular, red pirate hat.}}

"The only thing you missed was a "Theeeeeeres your sign" And, yeah, i guess goombas are just corrupted toads.....Oh, my bad dude." He said as he got a glaring look from the goomba. "I say we just get up on that train and get out of here." Marley ran up to the train "I hope we aren't attacked by fuzzles...." A shudder ran down Marley's spine. "Ughhhhhh. Things give me nightmares...."

"Whats that?"
"WE NEED TO GET TO TOADSWORTH TO GET MORE DETAILS ON THE MISSION!!!" Barnibus shouted, hovering a few feet off the ground for added effect.

"Yeah, I'm going to go inside now." Goombyl promptly walked into the castle, where he saw Toadsworth sitting at a desk. Toadsworth looked up. "Hm, only one person. that's odd... IN any case, sign the form and follow me into the other room."
Goombyl simply stared at the sheet of paper. "Um.. I don't exactly HAVE ANY ARMS!!!"
"Oh, yes. I'll just fill it out for you then. Name?"
"Goombyl"
"Where are you from?"
"Goomba Village."
"Favourite video game?"
"How the heck am I supposed to play video games WITHOUT ANY ARMS?!?!? ...Super Smash Bros. Melee."
"Very good. Now, if you could follow me into the next room....

"Form please."
"Here you go." Toadsworth gave Barnibus a form and a pen and proceded to fill it out. "Hmm, Name; Barnibus, Address; 5462 feather lane, Mushroom Kingdom. Favorite Video Game; Mario Kart Double Dash!!"
After he filled the form out, he gave the form to toads worth and followed Goombyl, happy to get away from Marley

"Gimme a form!" Marley said as toadsworth handed him the form and a pen. "Hmm lets see......Name: Marley Address: 2824 easy street. Favorite videogame: KH2. Well, lets get going then...."

Toadsworth and Sir Booregard had a little staredown. "Aren't you going to fill out a form?" asked the hoity-toity toad.

"I can't even grasp a pen..." said Booregard softly. "But my name is Sir Edmond Booregard, Earl of Vista Hill. I live in a mansion on Vista Hill. And, what was the third one? Favourite...video game? How preposterous...though I am partial to Chrono Trigger, I suppose. Good story, that." he said after some thought.

Marcel grabbed a sheet. "Captain Marcel, Address: 407 Sailor's Street, Rogueport. Favourite video game: Honor Among Thieves. Satisfied?" he handed the sheet back to Toadsworth and folded his arms.

"Alright, then. Now follow me into the next room." In the next room, there was a line of small robots and a very impatient Goombyl.
"Finally! Now, what th' heck's with all these robots?"
"They are so I may witness abilities in battle. You wouldn't be very good adventurers if you couldn't fight, now would you?"
"I guess so..."
"Good. Now, simply approach a robot to engage in combat."
Goombyl walked over to a robot, which activated.
"Attack now."
"No crap., I was just going to wait until it punched me in the face." Goombyl jumped on the robot, damaging it.
"Hm, interesting. I expected you to use the usual Goomba 'Headbonk' technique."
"No way, doing that gives me a splitting headache after the fight is over. Besides, it would mess up my hair." Goombyl was interrupted when the robot swatted him.
"Ow! Oh, it's goin' down now, you jerk!" For some reason, just then the song "It's Going Down" began to play.
"Hm, the castle's intercom system must be broken. By the way Goombyl, you will do more damage with your attacks if you press the A button with proper timing."
Goombyl stared at him, confused. "What the hell is an A button and how the hell do I press it?"
"Never mind... Do you have any special moves?"
"Well, of course." Goombyl turned back to the robot and began yelling at it. Goombyl's large, angry text then swarmed the robot and caused much more damaged than Goombyl's jump attack, defeating it.
"How's that for a special attack? It can also intimidate enemies into missing their turn and cause them to flee. Also, I don't know why, but I feel like I broke some kind of wall..."
"Impressive, Mr. Goombyl. Now then, who's next?"

"That would be me." Marley said, full of enthusiasm. Marley pressed his hand to his glasses. "Hmm......mechanical structure: Tin? Operating system: Windows 98? Favorite color: Pink? Likes:...FLOWERS!!!!!! HP: 5 Attack: 2 Def: 0. A basic training robo. Huh. Well, i guess i better attack...." As Marley got finished saying this, the robot attacked. It swiped at Marley, and a giant 1 appeared over his head. "Hmm...better attack." Marley withdrew into his shell, and attacked the robot. A giant 3 appeared over the bots head. The robot jumped on Marley, and he skidded across the floor, eventually crashing into the robot. A giant 3 appeared of the bots head. "Well, that takes care of that." Marley said as he walked into a door.

Booregard looked around. "Well, I'm really much better at affecting living things. But, if I really-" he was interrupted by a swinging fist, and imediatley turned intangible, causing the fist to go through him. He wrapped his tongue around the arm and seemed to cackle. This caused the robot to fall apart. "There. Happy?"
