New Dawn

Standing up fast, Alex was on Nikka in a heart beat. He moved so fast that within seconds, he tripped Nikka causing her to hit the ground. He hissed at her.

"I said stay. They want to know what you haven't told them yet. Besides there is too much to discuss out here instead of a hot building where I don't care to talk much. Standing in a cool breeze. My way to get things moving in the clan and force them to make a decision about this."

Alex then helped Nikka up to her feet and stood over her like a mother bird over her babies. His face was as calm as ever and his heart rate was like it ran a race. Alex then looked up to see another figure there, but it didn't smell like anyone from the clan or a human. His expression left as he stared at the stranger. His teeth poked out and his words become stronger.

"Who are you? Leave now or I will have to use force and kill you right now!"

Nikka hissed, both at Alex, and at the intruder.
Whoever it was had almost the exact same scent as the fur did.
"Answer his question!" Nikka spat, fuming. Her lip curled into a snarl. Apparently, whoever it was wasn't planing on being seen. The figure drifted into the shadows before she could react. Alex tensed beside her, but she put a hand lightly on his shoulder.
"The Clan hasn't given us orders to attack, or give chase for that matter. Calm down.." Nikka said quietly, trying to calm herself down as well as Alex. She didn't want him to get into trouble on her account.
Nikka sighed, and leaned against him for support, emotionally drained.

Alex couldn't calm down. His rage was off the charts and that Nikka holding him back wanted him to hit her. But what was the use. He wanted to go, but knew he had to stay.

"Hmm, I think I smell Ayame coming."His sences were a lot better when he was mad, and he knew who it was that was only at least 80 ft. away from them. He sit down to wait.

Nikka groaned and sat down across from Alex, letting her head drop into her hands.
"I don't know anything more than you do!" she exclaimed suddenly, shaking her head quickly, trying to keep the moisture out of her eyes.

Ayame at this moment was flying,hoping she'd see something from the air.Then she saw Alex and Nikka and descnded.When she landed she drew her wings in and winced in pain a little.
"I don't think I'll ever get used to that.Hello Alex,any news?"

Alex looked up at Ayame and then tried to tell them both of what it was.

"Werewolf's are the ones responsible for the killings. That was what the blood and fur on the ground at that place you went to Nikka. Just that the blood was of a human, and the fur I suspect was when the girl pulled at the fur before she died. And not to surprised either."

He then looked up to see the other members of the clan. He then went silent and waited for them to get done with what they wanted to say.

After the meeting, Alex went back to his house to cool off and think of a way to do this problem.

Nikka sighed slightly, and trotted back to the mansion. A few of the others attempted to talk to her, but she kept on.
The garden in the back of the house was the only place she felt safe anymore. It was quiet there, and it was always bathed in moonlight when she went there. It calmed her down greatly when she was there.

Getting back to the mansion again from his house, he walked through the building. Landing his hands on the door, he opened the door to the main part of the council, and the leader of the clan. Alex was tired and out of breath, but he throw the head on the table infront of them. He was still covered in blood and the smell was attracting the other vampires to see what was happening.

"This is not a joke anymore. I was in the middle of thinking when it came into my house. I killed it on the spot and want something done."

Alex then stormed out of the room, and went down the hall to the garden. He saw the pool that was in the middle and jumped right in. He didn't care what he did, just to get the bad smell from his body. After that, he moved his eyes to the moon that was glowing down on him. He then wished this would never have happened and that this place was quiet again.

"I wish I didn't love,care,or died, but just not live." Alex drew up another breath and felt that his life will come to an end. "Why you die my love. When I went upstairs your body was twisted and blood everywhere. Why you die?"

Nikka's eyes widened slightly, as she stepped around a bush. She was silent as ever, but she watched Alex in curiousity. As tempting as it was to ask who he was talking about, she clamped her mouth shut.
"Are you well Alex?" she asked softly, taking a few louder steps forward. He didn't look well. And the smell of blood tainted the air slightly. Nikka didn't want to know what from.

His head was down now. Tears started to form, but the pressure of just being sad or going on a rampage. Alex then felt that nothing was going to get done, so he will be doing it himself. First, who to get to come with him. Not too many people liked him, and the same with him.

Nikka tilted her head to one side, and watched Alex carefully. She'd decided. He was not well. But she wasn't sure if she should make a move to help him. Would he decide to attack. Or would he kill her straight away. She couldn't tell, so she stayed put, forcing her feet to stay.

Clouds started to move in and the moonlight turned to darkness. Underneath the red blossoms in the garden seemed to sway from side to side. The wind was picking up from the storm coming in. He was not happy for what has happened, but didn't want to stay in this kind of weather that was moving in. Or just that he didn't care anyway.

"A lose is a lose, even if it was too short." Alex then turned around. "A death will last forever, even in this place." Moving towards the doors, Alex moved his hand to one side and there was a sword. Its sharp point seemed to go on forever. "A life living is never again for me." With that, Alex drew the sword and started to move it closer to his throat. In his other hand, he drew the dagger on his left and moved it closer to his heart.

Nikka stood, frozen for a moment, watching Alex. "What're you..." she began to ask, but she cut herself off. He was drawing a sword, holding it to his heart. That's all she had to see.

"Alex Dont!" she yelped, unsure if the words reached him. She gasped, and flashed forward with inhuman speed. Her hand was on his in an instant. She couldn't let him do this. "Alex, you can't.." Nikka said quietly, pleading with him.

His hands where still, but Alex kept the sword and dagger close to his body. His hands where shacking, but not as bad as what Nikka's hands where. Alex then looked into her eyes with great interest. With sorrow, he went down on his knees and started to cry.

"I feel alone again."

Nikka's eyes began to water, slowly but surely, she began to cry as well. Out of sympathy, fear, or compassion, she didn't know.
She kneeled next to him quietly, hands on his shoulder. "I know.. I know how you feel.." she murmered quietly, watching his face.
