It's simple. While there together, ditto takes the DNA of it's mate, and then replicates asexually.

I'm going with the theory that ditto are like the symbiote that created venom and carnage. minus the attatching to a host pokemmon thing.
This is my RP Forum, Tales of Symphonia Adventures, or ToSA for short. Please take a look?

This week's question: How come some pokemon can evolve twice, while some can only evolve one, and some none?

It was lonely... you promised you'd write to me, but you never did... the months passed by, and I still thought of you every day, but you never called. I never got any letters from you.

So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

Because the designers are saving those evolutions for the next game. *bricked*

Probably they just don't need to. The closest thing we have to pokémon evolution in this world is butterflies (caterpiller to crysalis to butterfly) but most animals don't and they don't really need to. Uh, that's the best I can come up with.

I am now going to do something completely predictable. I don't much like being predictable, but it must be done. So if you didn't see this coming, go get help.

ALIENS! You don't see ALIENS evolving, do you?! They put their EVIL non-evolution curse on select Pokemon so they can't evolve at all! Some have slowly overcome it in time, like Rhyhorn, who was starting to break the curse way back in R/B/Y, and then finally got their third stage in D/P!

ALIENS!
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I think that's just an urban legend that sprung up around ghost pokémon because they're all spooky and ghostlike. They're probably not ghosts at all, just a different type of pokémon.

Yeah, Ghastly is supposed to be made of some sort of poisonous gas, which is why it is a Ghost/Poison type.

Thisd week's question; If some pokemon are genderless, how do they breed to make more of their species?

Well, most (all?) of the genderless species aren't the type of pokemon that would die of old age, so it's probably the same bunch that've been around since the end of time.
Stevenson's Vocabulary Word of the Week:

Foment: (verb) To excite or arouse, i.e. 2014's Week of Randomness hopes to foment some activity on the forums.

Stevenson's Latin Phrase of the Week:

Brutum Fulmen: (senseless thunderbolt) This phrase, coined by Pliny the elder, is used to refer to an empty threat.

Maybe they're both genders. There's some real animals like that and they can reproduce with each other.
