*The next morning they were just about to head out when a zombified Vormav appeared before them.*

Vormav: "...must...kill..."

"What the hell? Vormav! Vormav!"

Vormav: "...must...kill..."

"He's being controlled by Moen!"

Vormav: "...must...kill...me..."

"What did he just say?"

Vormav: "...you...must...kill...me..."

"But..."

Vormav: "...lend...me...power..."

*Vormav changed into Hashalum. (aka Leo)*

"Damn you Moen!"

"Looks like we don't have a choice now."

*Everybody sends out there monsters.*

"Virgo, Raydion, let's get this guy! Virgo Strength of Heart! Raydion Wrath of God!" *The Legendary attack struck Leo dead on.*

"He's a dark type so that should do a lot of damage."

"Ha, that was nothing." *Leo laughed.* "Exploding sun!"

"Agh!!!" *Virgo was hit hard and staggered back into Josiah.*

"Virgo! Are you ok?" *She nodded weakly. She was in an odd posistion having but a type advantage and disadvantage.* "Quick, use Maiden's Healing to heal yourself!"

"Gee, if he wants us to kill him he could make it a bit easier."

"Come on guys! Let's have all our monsters attack together! Ready...Now!!!"

((Oh yeah, cause of Yom Kippur I won't be able to get on the forums starting tonight until saturday night or sunday morning. Just don't do anything really major [defeating Moen, etc] while I'm gone, ok?))

The card expolided into flames and reveled the griffen who roarded with all its might
"Wild Fire!!"
"Omega and Yin Yang, you to! And Mirror""
"tidal Wave! To Fats! Shatter!"
the monster followed Pirogoth
They all struck Leo hard, but he was unfased
"what??"
"Whats different about this one???"
she looked at him, trying to see a weakness, but nothing came to mind
"ahhh! Hit it again!"
"shauni! look out!"
shauni tured around, Leo had quicky moved behind her and knokcer her over again
"ahhh!"
"shauni!"

"Let me try... Kojie, sun shine!" The sun started shining intensly. Leo/Vormav simply shielded his eyes, and while it didn't do damage directly, he did lower his defences because of the obscured vision...

We need a better defense or he'll finish us in no time!" *Josiah grabbed one of his cards.* "Armor Dragon, protect us with Supreme Guard!" *A glowing light surrounded the group raising their defense.* "Now, it's time to get serious. Raydion merge with me and form...Perfect Light!"

"Is that all?" *Leo laughed.*

"Grr... See how you like this! Heaven's Cry!"

((Ok, this is my last post till saturday night or sunday morning so don't go and leave my character stranded in a swamp or anything!))

"Uh... Light Slash?" Kojie's claws started glowing, then he charged at Leo. He managed to Slash the final legend and the light transfered from the claws to the wound cuasing to appear to be glowing. Leo knocked Kojie to the side however, nearly KOing it.

*The attacks proved futile. Leo lunged towards Shauni, and she was unable to react.*

"Shauni!!!"

*Jeff jumped in between them, and was impaled by Leo's claw. His body had a gaping wound.*

...heh...you're...doomed...SHOCK!"

*Jeff swung his sword, causing powerful explosion to erupt around Leo, killing him instantly.*

"Maiden's healing! MAIDEN'S HEALING! MAIDEN'S HEALING!"

*Shauni grab's Josiah by the collar, her eyes flooding with tears.*

"Why won't it work? Heal him!"

"...shauni...come...here..."

*Shauni rushes to his side.*

"I'm...sorry...I...can't protect...you..."

"Don't talk like that! You'll make it!"

"...it's too late...I love you...take care of Slyth for me..."

*Jeff held Shauni's head tightly; but his grip quickly loosened. Jeff was gone.*

((I'm back! And here Jeff posts a second before me so now there goes the post I spent the last ten minutes writing <_< Anyway Jeff, do you plan on coming back later some how or do you just want out of the whole RP?))

"Damn... I can't believe he did that. There had to be a better way to defeat Leo."

"What are we going to do now?"

"You have all the shards." *Virgo placed the Leo shard in Josiah's hand then put her arm around him.*

"Will you all just shut up!!!" *Shauni screamed.* "Jeff is gone and you can do is talk about the stupid shards?!?"

"Look Shauni," *anger flared in Josiah's voice as well,* "don't think you're the only one who cared for Jeff! We all did. But he wouldn't want us to sit here crying while Moen takes over. Jeff would want us to fight. There'll be time for tears later. This isn't it." *Josiah had to fight to keep himself from crying.*

"Here," *Mustadio handed her the Slyth card,* "I'm sure he'd want you to have it."

*Shauni nodded and took both the card and Jeff's sword. They took only enough time to bury Jeff before heading back to Vahallo to heal their spirits. No one was in the mood to talk. At last Josiah broke the silence.*

"Ok guys, despite what happened we can't just sit here and mope. We have all the zodiac shards, we can get to Moen now. We have to keep fighting. For the world, for ourselves, and for Jeff. But first we need to find David. With Jeff gone we need him more than ever."

*Right then screams echoed through the city. Everyone ran to see what was wrong.*

"Holy fudge crackers..."

"It looks like Moen isn't just going to let us attack his fortress at our convenience."

*Moen spirits were everywhere. If all the armies they had fought before were combined the result would only be a fraction what they saw now. Moen himself was not amoung them but it was clear that he wasn't going to let the group reach his fortress without a fight and this was going to be on incredible battle.*

*Silver accidently dropped Toshi's card.* "Oops." *He bent to pick it up and slipped on a bannana peel, falling face first into a large mud puddle.*

"You happy now?" *Josiah chuckled.*

"Yep." *Silver whiped the mud off his face and summoned Toshi.*

"Good. In that case, let's see just how strong we've become! Electric Heaven, Dark Radience, Multi-Fissure, Ultra Nova, Magma Ocean, Acid Rain, Chill Wind, Strength of Heart, and Supreme Guard! This one's for Jeff!!!"

Shauni ran to help the others while she drew Pirogoth, but before she relesed the card, she stoped, and retured it
"For you....Jeff! Slyth! Come out!"
The monster appared in a roar of crys, blackness seaping from the card
"Slyth! Toxic Tooth! Also, go Yin Yang, Omega and Pirogoth! Fire at will!"
All of the monsters appred, a resilence in shauni had suddenly been lit, a burning fire that consumed her every soul
"FOR YOU JEFF!" she yelled as she donde the sword that was once Jeffs....
"In the name of love!" she yelled (thats shaunis sword skill)
Using the sword in one had and one of her own daggers in the other, she struck several Moen spirts, her monsters alos picking a few of as well
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! DIE!" she yelled, as she struck them again and again, fight as if on auot piliot
"there are to many!"
shauni ignored everything put her fighting
"For Jeff! for JEFF! AHHH FOR JEFF!" taking her anger and frustration out with every spirte, but she would never be able to fill the hole Jeffs death had left in her, no matter how many she felled
She began to realise there was no end to her pain, and thew the sword to the ground
"I GIVE UP!"
Moen spits surounded her
Shauni! what are you doing! Fight!!!"
"No....I want to see Jeff....even if that means......."
"No! I wont let that happnen! He died to save you! dont let if be a waste!"
shauni suddenly came to her sences "Your right..he died to save me...I wont let his life be a waste!"
she stood up and grabed the sword again
"Who wants some! Die magguts!"
