Whee.

Since my friend had already drawn a picture of Ichigo from Bleach, I decided to give it a try. Only, I ended up drawing Ichigo's Hollow instead.

I'm very happy with how it turned out. The drawing (in pencil) took me several hours. I inked it in about fifteen minutes last night, then spent most of my 50 minutes of seventh period today coloring and shading.

Note: Pose nearly completely copied from volume 25, chapter 219, page 7 of the Bleach manga. I did not think it up on my own, though I did do almost all of the shading (as in, everything but the really dark gray patches that are thinly outlined in pen).

That is ... awesome! (I just watched the episode where Ichigo and Hollow use bankai a little while ago and that looks *very* much like in the ep) :pepsi: You have some amazing talent there!

Gee, I'm going on this Bleach fanart spree, I swear.

The pose for Kuchiki Byakuya was taken from volume 14, chapter 1, page 35. The pose for Hitsugaya Toushirou was taken from volume 16, chapter 1, page 18.

Looks good. You should try some original poses now.

And because my fanart using original poses is taking absolutely forever (probably because of the background, if anything--yes, there's a background this time), I'm just putting up this drawing of Abarai Renji. I'd actually finished him at the time of my last post. I just didn't finish coloring the thing until two days later, so it's still a 'copied' pose. This one's from volume 16, chapter 133, page 61.

Next time I post art might not be for a while, so don't hold your breath. Hopefully, when it DOES go up, you'll see why...@.@

Never mind the taking forever. Over seven hours of working on this yesterday pretty much wrapped it up.

Anyway, this is the result of a week and two days of drawing, inking, and coloring.

That's pretty good. Ichigo's shoulders and left arm look slightly off to me but overall that's a really well done piece of work.

Wow, thats really good! I like the expression Hollow Ichigo has on his face. Is there any chance you'd be willing to do a drawing of Zaraki Kenpachi in the future?

I like this guy way too much. He's shaded with pencil, and you can probably still see the strokes 'cause I didn't bother blurring it. I consider this a quick drawing 'cause I finished the whole thing in about an hour.

And unfortunately, I don't think I'll be drawing Kenpachi anytime soon. Though I like the guy (he's hilarious, running into dead ends and what not), I'm not quite comfortable drawing guys without their shirts, if you know what I mean. And if you notice how Kenpachi wears his kimono, you'll understand how that relates.

It's nice. The arms look a little off to me (too thin maybe?) but otherwise it's good.

It's not the thickness/thinness of the arms that bugs me, it's the placement.

And... -shudders-
I'll never get used to those eyes. @__@

But it's pretty good. ^^

Lalala...I got a random urge to do this the other day...

All the pictures were individually drawn on a 5.5 in. x 3.5 in. page in this tiny notebook I have. I like drawing in the notebook because it's so tiny (and therefore more portable than, say, my art book), but cleaning up the images after I scanned them all in was extremely hard. Plus, I'm a total newb when it comes to using Photoshop. So the cleaning up really sucks. It really didn't help that the first couple of pictures were done in pencil and not outlined in pen. @.@

Basically, it's a sort of timeline spanning from June 2004 to July 2007. I find it rather amusing how much my art style has been changing through the years.
