Yeah, Staraptor's made it to the favorites list. However, and this must be very clearly understood, IT IS INFERIOR TO PIDGEOT! No ifs, ands, or buts!
And yeah, Diamond pwns, but Silver's still my favorite Pokemon game for obvious reasons. You got to go to Johto AND Kanto! ...You were expecting a different reason, weren't you?
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Mute, I believe I have found the answer to all your problems: turn the volume down. You can even listen to some other music if you so desire. Most of the new Pokemon's cries annoy me, to be honest, so I opted not to listen to them. I've had Kokoro no Chizu stuck in my head since then, actually...

Anyway! My favorite Pokemon are still Pidgeot, WHICH IS SUPERIOR TO SWELLOW IN EVERY WAY AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT, Pelipper, Breloom, Ampharos, Sceptile, Blastoise... And now, thanks to their pwnage in Diamond, Loppuny and Staraptor. Fran and Mori = win.
