ROM 2: Zodiac Legends

((Just so you know, Mustadio's text is teal.))

*As they were talking there was a rustling behind them.*

"Guh? More enemies. Will this ever end?"

*About 100 more monsters appeared in addition to the 100 they had seen.*

"There's an awful lot of monsters there."

"It's nothing me and my sword can't handle."

"Don't forget me and my gun."

"This'll be a perfect time to try out my new technique. HOLY DRAW!"

*As everybody reached for their weapons, Shauni slashed her way through all of the monsters. The four guys just stood there, mouths agape.*

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"What's the matter boys? Maybe I should've left a few for you." :P

"what the? how the? Huh?"
Shauni smiled and placed her daggers back in there sleves
"What the matter? Fangural got your tongue?"
She walked over to Jeff and pushed his jaw back to place
"What was that?"

"It combined Holy magic with a sword attack. All of these meon spirts are made into a dual type. The second type is Zomibe. i figured it out when I fell a monster on my own before, when I ran of, just before Jeff found me"

"Where did that type come from?""
"That I dont know, I think it might be a side effect of the Moen process, but I never noticed it before"

"I guess noone ever tryed holy magic on a evil spirt thought"
Shauni noded "Your right, but anyay, those monsters interupted my story"
she sat back down, the others were still shcoked
"Well, sit down!"
They did as they were told "So, anyway Hikaro mangaed to finaly distry the darkness in Malics heart, and in doing so made his uncle good. But th evil had to go somewhere. Yomico told me that his evil floats about and infects everthing it touches, it even taited Hikaro. He became evil himself, and in term destryed many things. It is even said that he is Moen, but that stuiped"

"Yeah, that seems pretty far fetched. I fought Moen and he seemed more like a spirit than a human."

"You know..." *Jeff blinked as if he was noticing something for the first time.* "You said David left but where's Virgo?"

"Oh, that..." *Josiah took out the Split Virgo card.* "She reacted with that shard you gave me and her evil half tried to take over. I fought her and the good part managed to hold the evil in stasis for a moment. She wanted me to kill her but I captured her instead."

"But that card is useless, it doesn't even have an attack list."

"As far as I can tell the good and evil Virgos are still holding eachother in check. Silver and I were going to Codo's to see if he can do something to help her."

"Sounds good to me." *Jeff and Shauni nodded, Mustadio just looked confused.*

"And maybe he and Yomico will have found out something about that Dark World."

"Well, we'll find out tomorrow I guess. Now let's get some sleep. I'll take first watch."

"Oh wait, got something for you. Mustadio had the Sagatarius shard so here you go." *Josiah placed it in the sword then sat watch as the others fell asleep.*

shauni had just diffted of when she felt the same cold breze she had felt on her when they had saw the fake felix at the cave.
it made her wake up
"Hello? Josiah?"
she looked around and found that she was alone, the others had vanished, and whats more, she was someplace else
"The dark realm?" she shivered as she held herself
"nooo........."

Joisah looked over to shauni, she was still fast asleep, but she looked like she was having a nightmare, he nugged her gently
shauni suddenly vilonelt pulled herself up
"ahhh!" she yelled, waking the others up
"wow! Whats the matter"s
he looked around her "Im here.....I guess I just had a nightmare, about the dark world..."
Jeff got up and gave her a hug
"Im sorry I woke everyone, listen, I cant sleep, Ill do next watch"

CHAPTER 7-B: GOING SOLO

*The night sky was bright, and stars were everywhere. David was traveling on a mountain trail. The rough trail reflected how he felt.* "I must become stronger, I was always too weak before. And the fight against Raykor...I failed. I failed myself. The vision wanted me too kill him, but I failed. In order to become stronger I must feel pain, I must train." *David was at the top of a plateau between some mountains.* "This mountain air is nice. But I need to concentrate on other things." *David started down the other side. It was dawn by the time he made it down. There was a big tower in the distance, surrounded by a town.*

*Shauni's watch passed without a hitch. As she went to wake up Jeff, she noticed he was already awake.*

"Couldn't you sleep?"

"No... it's just all that's happened. It's a lot to take in."

"There you go again. You need to relax a little bit."

"As usual you're right. Well get some rest. I'll stand guard until morning."

"Okay. Good night, Jeff."

"Good night, Shauni."

Jeff sat alone for about four hours, looking longinly at the stars. Alot was racing threw his mind
Shauni was pertending to be asleep, watch him, partly out of fear of sleeping, and partly of concern for Jeff.
She watch him for a couple more hours until fatieg took the better of her.
She difted of and lightly began o snore, Jeff had known she was awake, and turned to look at her, and gave a small smile as he lent over nd kissed her on the head
He lay back next to her and kicked Silver
"Hay man, your turn"
"mmmm....er what, or right"
Jeff lay down as Silver sat up, he placed his arm over shauni and he to fell asleep. Shauni could hear Jeffs heart beating and his warth.
She didnt have another nightmare that night......

Putting Mr.Comic relief on guard duty might not have been the best idea... everyone would wake the next morning to find their faces covered in shaving cream and/or poorly drawn marker markings. Not that they didn't expect it...

shauni awoke first to find she now had glasses drawn on her face, blankly looking Silver orquadly.
he gave her a grin as she has caught him in the act of spraying shaving foam all over Josiahs head
"What do you think your doing?"
"Well, I er, yes"
"Hand me the pen"
Confused, Silver passed her the pen, at which point she drew a clown face on Jeff
"Ok, perfect"
"Did you just really do what I think you did?"
Shauni noded and gave a cheacky grin
"Jeff!" she yelled "Look whats silvers done to you!"
"hay wait! i didnt do that!"
"Silver! Im gunna kill you!"
Jeff began to chase Silver around the camp sight
"But is was shauni!"
"yeah right! Come here! im gunna give you the biggest wedgy EVER!"
shauni smerked to herself *Severs him right*

*Josiah wakes up and quickly notices Silver's pranks. Silver just just got away from Jeff only to run straight into Josiah.* "You're gonna pay for this. Gale Force!" *Everyone watched as Silver shot into the air and disapeared.*

"Will he be ok?"

"Yeah, that happens to Team Rocket all the time and they survive. He'll probably be back soon enough."

*By the time Silver found his way to camp the others had cleaned up and were preparing to leave.*

"Too bad, looks like you missed breakfast." *Shauni grinned.*

"Aw man..."

*They reached Codo's home after several hours and walked inside to find him and Yomico immersed in ancient books. So immersed in fast that they hadn't even noticed their visitors.*

"Yeah, Right."

"Seriously!"

"Got any proof?"

"Yes, actually, I do. Look! I put black paint on the marker, and her hands are black, meaning she picked it up!"

*Hides hands* "That doesn't prove anything!"

"Then why are they black?"

"Well, I, uh... er..."

"Hah! See?! She did it!"

"Then what about everyone else?"

"Well... fudge crackers!"

shauni grinned cheakly as Jeff looked at her, there was a bit of an orquared silence and then Jeff began to laugh, realeving shauni
"Dont worry about it shauni, I love you, I wont be sending you "Blasting of Again"

shauni huged him
She walked awy from her hug and walked right infront of Codo and Yomico, both still engrosed in there book
"BOO!" she yelled
"Ahhhh!" they both yelled together
"What the hell?" yelled Yomico, looking up "Shauni?!"

Shauni noded "Thats right!"
they both began to hug
"How are you? What are you doing here?"
shauni noded "Im ok, we came her to see you guys, something Josiah found....."
josiah came over and passed the Slit Virgo card to Codo
"Ummmm, interesting......"
He went of to ponder it, followed by Joisah
"So? Whos hungry?"
shauni smiled and looked at the others "Dont worry, Yomico CAN cook!"

*The group filled Yomico in on current events over lunch.*

"So that's pretty much what's been happening." *Jeff finished.* "We've still got three more Zodiac Legends to track down before we can break the shield around Moen's fortress and then there's that army of his too..."

"Codo and I were studying the Dark World you were trapped in and we found some interesting things. But I'll let him explain, he understands it better anyway."

*At that moment Codo returned and handed Josiah a card.* "That's no ordinary monster card, where did you get it?"

*Josiah gave a quick explantion then glanced over the card.* "Wow, it changed! Did you fix it?"

"It was more difficult to purify than most but it should be fine now."

"Excellent! Go Virgo!"

*Virgo appeared and looked around uneasily.* "What happened? How did I get here? You had that shard and then..."

"Well you were holding the evil Virgo back but I didn't want to kill you so I captured you instead and Codo purified the card, removing the evil side. Hope you don't mind..."

"Purified..." *Virgo looked curiously at her card.*

"Yeah. Sorry about the whole card bit... You don't have to stay in it or follow me around or anything, you can do what you want."

"It's ok." *She smiled.* "You saved me not only from Moen's army but from the darkness he put in me. For that, I'd gladly follow you anywhere." *To everyone's surprise she suddenly leaned forward and kissed Josiah on the cheek.*

"Um..." *Yomico was the first to break the uneasy silence.* "About the Dark World, the part Jeff and Shauni were in was only a small isolated section of it and.. Codo, how about filling them in on our Dark World research?"

"Oh, alright." *He sat down.* "You see, judging by what we've read, it appears that Moen is from the Dark World."

"The dark world is not and never has been a part of Orca, or ROM as you call it"
"Its is the same place that a part of shauni came from""
"That cold place, it was the dark realm...."
"ITs not really a realm like this one, its more like a data store, nothing has a form, everthing just.....exists"
"But things have been happneding in that Data world since Shauni and Moen came here, its has begun to take on forms, and it would apper it was at Moen disgression"
shauni noded "What about evil virgo and the Zombie zodiacs?"
"When a being from this realm dies, there data goes back to the data store, its perfectly natural. But when the Hellfire virus was created in the data realm by the hacker and moved out, it created a doorway, a link to this world, data now passes freely between these realms, and over the last 2 years Moen has learned how to control this movement of Data, allowing him to create the zodiac. We think that this process was even used to create the mutations on the spirts he makes evil, the purification sends that data back?"

"So what do we have to do to get ride of the doorway?"
send all the data back to it, that means Moen, the zodiac, and you shauni..."
shauni frowned "To that cold place again, where I am alone...."
"No" yelled Jeff as he stood up
"Not this sacrfice again, we find another way to close the doorway, Codo, Yomico, keep looking, when we are ready I suggest we get back to destrying these zodiac"
Jeff, take a minitue, lets think about this"
"No, you not the ones that love shauni, you dont knwo what its like to hear that!"
shauni stood up and held Jeff "Its ok, shhh, lets think about this"
Jeff had a tear role down his eye and dripped onto shaunis face, she didnt whip it of......

*Behind them stood Aquarias and Capricorn.*

"You see, our water/electric combination will destroy you."

*Jeff quickly drew his sword.*

"Not likely you sons of b****es!"

*Both of the Legends use Zodiac Blast. Jeff was soaked with water when the lightning struck him. He was completly paralyzed. The others drew their weapons.*
