Hir eyes flashed blue, causing a soft rumbling to be heard, which went stronger and stronger until Opal could see a tsunami headed for her group.

"Celebifly, invincible leaf! Ram, electrical earthquake! Nessy, winding river! Pyro's Head, swarm of heat! Maraquni, tidal wave!" The attacks helped slow down the tsunami, giving Maxium time to return the other half of her monsters, and then returning the rest on the field.
She flew far above the watery grave, looking down at Sally.
Her fist glowed as se dove straight into the abyss of the water. A ripple covered the water as the tsunami reversed its direction towards Sally.
Maximum swiftly flew upwards, dripping water.

"Hmmm...how about this?"

Sally stood motionless, not really impressed by the tidal wave but happy that Opal managed to avoid drowning, though before it hit hir all of the tsunami was turned to ice, stopping it instantly along with freezing everything that was in it.

Walking forward, shi gently poked the wall of ice before hir, which suddenly shattered into millions of sharp icicles and flew upward in a deadly rain.

(Opal is directly above the ice barrage)

Maximum covered herself with her wings, deflecting the icicles. She spun around, and whiped out her wings, deflecting the last icicles towards Sally.

Sally crossed hir arms, this time hir eyes glowing red.

"Welcome to hell."

In only an instant the whole terrain became sun-like, the ground turning to gooish magma and volcanoes sprouting at regular intervals.
All of the ice was instantly evaporated from the burning heat, all the trees turned to ashes in seconds...
Meteors began to rain everywhere as a firestorm formed itself around Opal, growing hotter with each passing second.

Great....just great... Maximum flew as high as she could without combusking.
She doged the meteors as best as she could.
If only... She powered up an energy spiral, clocking one dead one, making it recoil towards Sally.

Instead of being deflected as Opal had hoped, the meteor instead exploded violently, which Sally was quick to laugh at.

Maximum shrieked as her plan backfired, quickly covering herself with her wings to deflect the shrapnel.
"Ok, that didn't work as plan." She panted, dodging another meteor.

The firestorm closed in on Opal, making the dodging of meteors harder over time.

"Hmm...if you die while merged do you simply unmerge?"

"I don't know -dodge- I no one has ever died before while merged -dodge-. Eep! -dodge-" Maximum was getting plently tired, but she had to keep it up. "Sneaking thistledown!" She imploded, making feathers drift into million of places before a meteor crashed inbetween them. The remaning regathered in a safer area.
Maxium took in a deep breath.

Sally grinned. Opal's vision started to become blurry as everything slowed down, soon turning to darkness. Everything was gone and when her eyes worked again she was in a dark corridor with wavering lights on the ceiling. Her back was against the concrete wall and she was surrounded on the left and on the right by two more walls.

When looking forward she could see a vague cloaked figure in the distance, looking quite far away (100 meters, give or take).

Maximum folded in her wings inwards.
"This is creepy..." She looked around, seeing no windows or doors, only the figure. "Sally - is taht you?" She asked, slowly walking towards it.

"Yes. Shun Goku Satsu!"

Opal could see Sally do two light punches in the air, showing hir furry tiger-patterned clawed hand at the same time, followed by a step forward and a quick low kick. Energy gathered around hir as shi lifted hir right knee in the air and started gliding over the ground toward Opal.

((Shun Goku Satsu, japanese for Instant Hell Murder, it hurts...alot, that is if Sally grab Opal. It can be cancelled if you do a strong enough attack. A video of how it look like here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnxZXnF1JKc ))

Opal saw as Sally lunged towards her.
"Oh boy...." She stood her ground, waiting.
Just as Sally came in arms length, she used sneaking thistle down to avoid the attack.
She appeared down the hallway, sweating.

Sally was waiting for her when she reappeared in the middle of the hallway, apparently not having none of that teleporting and immediately grabbeb Opal by the clothes.

"Gotcha." Was all shi said before Maximum's vision as robbed once more, suddenly under an onslaught of planet-shattering strikes from everywhere at once before losing consciousness.

After what seemed to be eternity, she woke up where she was before the battle began. She seemed fine though unmerged and her monster was KOed.
Her opponent was nowhere to be seen though a female anthropomorphic tiger-patterned catlike creature wearing a halter top and loose jeans was napping nearby, laying on it's back with the head resting against a tree.
