Polar: The Conquest

Zanther didn't know if the others had any ideas but he just happened to be close to the weapons and had grabed his whip before the guns were pulled on the group. He thought fast. Chain Lighting might be the best option for what was going on.

"Nice metal guns you got there buddy." said Zanther. This distraced Cancer enough that Zanther cracked his whip and sent electricity out towards Cancer's guns hitting them sending a shock of electricity into Cancer himself causing him to drop his guns.

"So, how about letting us leave now?"

Jaron stayed quiet, backing away from the group. He felt betrayed and traitorous similarily. He closed his eyes, not knowing what to do now. This world was still strange to him. He thought he was never going to understand a thing about this place...

Cobalt took the brief respite to dart past Cancer, grab his dagger, and clip it back onto his belt. Along the way, he kicked both pistols away from their captor. He then looked around at the other humans. "Hurry," he called to them in a rather quiet voice. For some reason, he couldn't bring himself to yell. "Grab your weapons before he recovers and gets to his guns again!" In an attempt to help, he picked up the nearest weapon. It happened to be a spear of some sort.

"We should get out of here." *T'kina clutched her sword.* "His friends could be back soon." *She led the way out of the cabin and into the woods.*

"I'm all for getting out of here." *Ransom was right behind her.* "But does anyone know where we are?"

"Now," *Taizen, held the bladed edge of his pendant to Rubella's neck,* "are you ready to talk?"

"I was serious you know." *Rubella replied, still smiling.* "Go ahead, torture me, rape me, kill me, do what you want, I still won't tell you anything."

*Taizen scowled, not only was her face calm, she was even trembling. It was inhuman, there had to be something seriously wrong with the girl. He wondered if all of Duka's higher ranking people were like this.* "Fine then." *Without warning he hit her over the head, knocking her unconscious. Any other day he would have considered trying to arrange a ransom of some sort but for now he just needed her out of the way. After tieing her up with some rope he found in the deserted bar and stowing her in a dark corner, Taizen left. With little to go on, he decided to head out in the direction he'd seen the Duka Knights coming from earlier and hope he found something.*

Zanther stepped outside and looked around. He was hopping that they were in a forest that he'd been training in but nothing looked that fimilar. Even though he'd seen afew houses in the forest he'd been training in. It seemed to him that he would have to be incharge of this group since he was the only one that knew much of anything in this world or what was going on. He thought for a moment and looked up. If he could get to the top or near the top of one of the trees he might see something. He decided to give it a shot. Using his whip he grabed a large tree branch and using his whip managed to climb/jump up the tree. Soon he was up as far as he felt safe. But from this point he could still see. It seemed to the north the forest seemed to taper off and not be as thick. It would be their best bet.

"Ok, if you want to get out of there, follow me."

"You know where you're going?" *T'kina ran after Zanther, who was leading the way.*

"Sorta."

"Better than nothing I guess. But we end up going in a ciricle I'm gonna kick your ass."

*Meanwhile Taizen moved carefully through the forest. Although he was tempted to run, he had already run into enough Dukaknights for the day and was hoping to avoid any unneccessary encounters.*

Jaron followed slowly and quietly, until they reached the outside. He took in a deep breath, and ran an opposite direction. Away from the dukaknights. Away from the other humans. Away from everything.

"Why... Why me!?" He screamed as he stopped moving, falling to the ground, slamming his fist into the ground. "Why did they have to use me... Who was tellign the truth? Argh!" He screamed as he slamemd his fist into the ground once more.

*Hearing a scream, Taizen headed in that direction and soon spotted a young man, most likely from Earth from the looks of it, pounding his fists on the ground.*

"Hey you," *he slowed and headed towards the boy,* "who are you and what are you doing here?" *Taizen kept his weapon ready. Although he the stranger certainly didn't look very dangerous, it didn't hurt to be careful, especially with all that had been going on.*

The fortress was dark. Like any other cliche one out of a movie. High walls filled with traps, a mote condensed with killer Polar swimmers, and high voltage. More high walls after that. In the middle of the fortress was a man gazing into a jade plate. The reflection of Fever, Cancer, and Rubella filled it.
The figure was displeased with what he saw.
"How can thoughs, thoughs, humans do so much to eliter polarites? Pneumonia!" he cried. "Get yer carcus over here!"

A teenage kid with spikey hair and shades walked into the dim light. "What now?" he sighed.

"Cancer, Fever, and Rubella are failing me. They are being too weak. So I have to call you in aswell." He stared into the jade some more.

Pneumonia crossed his arms. "Very well. I will not displease you." He started to walk out.

"And bring Mumps with you." He ordered.

"But, Mumps, she's so....annoying!" Pneumonia argued.

"So as I say!" he yelled.

The teenager sighed as he left.

T'kina was lost withen the group of people.
"How ,any more dukaknights do you think there are?" She asked.

"Probably a lot." Ransom leaned against his staff.

"Wonderful." She looked back to see if Cancer was following them.

(Aha! It took me nearly an hou, but I finally figured out how to spell Pneumonia! Thought it was PH and not PN xD Um, yeah, I don't know the colours for Pneumonia and Mumps. What colours are left that we can use?)
(Duka has no colour set right now.)

"He's with us right now." said Neo comming to the sound of the scream. "I'm leading a small group that you fought with aginst the Duka Knights after we got captured. I'm taking them to my portal to get them out of here. I'm hopping my still works as some of theirs doen't seem to. This is no place for them to be, especially with what's going on as of late."

"There is a cabin south of here with a guy named Cancer who is still feeling the effects of electricity. I'm sure he's close to chasing after us now."

"Hey, sir. I don't think you're taking us anywhere. We're simply all going to the same place. Namely: out!" pushing through the crowd. "And unless we plan on getting captured again just to see how fun it is, I suggest we keep on going that same direction."

Then Joshua turned around to see Taizen. "Oh. Hello there. Fancy meeting you here. I, uh....this isn't what it looks like! It's not my fault! We were just playing a game, and then next thing we knew, we were here!" he waved his hands frantically. "I didn't mean for everyone else to get mixed up in this mess. Heck, I didn't even mean for me to get mixed up in this mess. But that's besides the point!"

"I'd think that of all the people here you at least would have enough sense not to get yourself captured." *Taizen replied. He then turned and adressed the other.* "Maybe now you see what I told you to leave. Things are only going to get more dangerous around here. I know of a portal nearby that still works, I'll take you there but after that I'd really prefer that you forgot about this place and return to your normal lives. Next time you get captured it won't be by such incompetent soldiers."

"As for me getting captured, one moment I'm watching you guys play your game, next moment I'm tied up. (litterly. One post I'm in the doorway, next I'm tied up in the house. I'm still wondering why they took him when he wasn't even with the group) That was some crystal. So not my fault though I should be more careful around people I have a good felling are human. Knew I should of used my crystal while watching."

Ransom shrugged.
"m, excuse me, guy." he looked at Taizan. "But why should we not return to Polar? We have as much rights here as you do!" He set his staff infront of him

"Because you have no idea what is going on. The thing is you're too young right now. There are things going on that could end up killing you and I don't think your parents would like that. Just imagine them. You not comming home one day and they worry and try to find you. And they won't cause your rotting bodies will be in Polar. Never to be found and taken care of. Your parents never knowing what happened. I don't have kids yet but I can still imagine the felling. I've pretty much seperated from my parents and am single with not many friends. So noone would miss me much. Besides, I think I might be the reason why some of the hidden portals arn't hidden."

Turning to Taizen, "So you want to lead them to the portal or shall I? I'm trying my one that I found while in the forest."
