Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon RP

Shauni, for her part, hadn’t taken in anything Mickey had said. She was just staring at him in disbelief, dumfounded that the blue, round face was talking to her.
She continued to stair, her eyes naïve and confused.

There were a bunch of other…creatures…around, seemingly in a similar statue of confusion.

There was no time for the information to truly register in her mind….

A slow rum burling noise began to erupt from the very ground they all sat on.

Several Pidgy flew from a tree in a panic sprouting something that sounded like ‘fissure’

Shauni stood up, this time not stumbling
“w-what’s going on?!” she yelled

Suddenly a crack began to appear in the ground all around the human turned pokemon. Some of the pokemon were still unconscious, lying on the ground, yet to wake.

Shauni yelled as the crack headed for her, suddenly pushed out of the way by a Torchic

“Few! That was close” it chirped.
She gripped a hold of Shauni’s front leg with its foot.
“Come on! It’s a quake! We gotta get out of here before the ground gives way completely!”

Shalto the Ghastly was snoring rather loudly. There seemed to be like eight million pokemon congregating nearby, which woke him up. Of course, the first things he noticed was that he couldn't feel his legs. Or arms. Or anything, really. He felt like he had died. Quite accurate, really, considering the fact that he was a ghost and all. Anyway, he thought logically about this, and seeing that there seemed to be other pokemon around, that he had been turned in to a pokemon. He had no way of knowing what, however, since he had no appendages which he could see. Anyways, he tests out his flying capabilities, and is off like a flash and ran in to some kind of eevee, who was shouting about something. "Um, what's going on here exactly?" he asked. "What's the rush?"

Zanther was inveloped in a green mist. He couldn't see anything at all but he was abuptly awakened by a low rumbling that seemed to be getting lounder. His first reaction was to get up and run. But he tried to stand on his two legs only to woble and fall back on the ground. He looked around. One he couldn't see his arms. They were infact under his body. But that confused him abit. He tried to get back up and was startled by the fact that his arms and hands had turned into hoofs and so appeare his legs were too. He managed to finally get up. The rumbling was getting lounder and he could hear some comotion in the near distance around a tree.

He slowly walked over, still getting use to his new mode of walking. At the moment he didn't care what was going on. All he could think of is that they were somehow in danger and needed to get away. He got to the group of what seemed to be pokemon. A Torchic was tugging on an Eevee's leg. "I think you should listen to the Torchic. I might not know what's going on but the fact that the earth seems to be moving isn't a good sign."

It took Kepi a few moments to realize the ground under her was shaking. In a panic, she tried to do several things at once. The first was to sit up, which she did just fine. Second, she tried figuring out where she was. Not so easy. The image that came to her eyes was somehow obscured by a hanging curtain of green stuff. "My hair doesn't look like that," she thought. A few seconds later, she was thrown to one side as the ground gave a particularly violent jerk.

"What the heck is going on here?!" she exclaimed. No sooner had the words burst from her mouth than she realized everything looked abnormally large. As in, bushes were now about twice her height. As she took in the choatic scene around her, she noticed many Pokemon, some of them looking unsure of themselves. After a moment, her brain finally made the connection. "Aw, come on, you've got to be kidding me," she muttered, getting to her feet. "This is unreal..." The Ralts lost her balance and pitched forward, sprawling on her front. "Gah." Kepi pulled herself back up and walked, rather steadily, toward other Pokemon that she suspected were originally humans. Best to find some company here than wander off on her own, she reasoned. What the heck could this weird body do, anyway?

The young dratini was panicing, mainly because it was a totally new style of walking.

"Whats going on!? I need some help! I barely even know how to move!"

Shauni moved unsteadily as the Torchic dragged her
“Wait!” she yelled “That pokemon needs help!”
She took her paw from the Torchic grasp and ran, some what unsurely, to the pokemon
“Here! Take my hand!” she yelled, suddenly realizing is didn’t HAVE hands.
She shuck her head at her own stupidly, then just clomped onto its tail with her teeth
”I’m sorry!” she yelled as the snakes yelp promoted her to let go
She looked at the situation, and then came up with another idea.

She charged the snake and pushed it as hard as she could
“Try and move! It’s your only chance!”

Mikey ran up to the Dratini. Someone had to take charge here...

"Wag your head from side to side, kid!" Mikey barked in desparation, "Move like that and your body will follow! Everybody else who has limbs, pick up one of these sleeping bueaties and RUN!"

The crack was getting wider and the earth was shaking more violently as the Dratini managed to slither away from danger. Mikey then snatched up two of the unconscious humans-turned-pokemon and ran. Everyone who was conscious (and had the ability to carry) followed suit.

Soon, everyone was safe from the brand new sink hole that had appeared where they were all standing (or sleeping) seconds ago. The ground still rumbled...

And an angry, red-eyed Onix burst from the ground...

((DUN DUN DUN))

"Why does this always happen to me...." said Shalto as the giant onix emerged. He floated {he had sorta gotten used to it} up to the onix's eye level. "Listen here, bucko." he said. "If you knew what kind of day I've had, waking up without limbs, you wouldn't want to mess with me." He glared at the giant rock snake *anime firey eyes* so much that his eyes seemed to glow. The onix actually flinched a bit.

{{Yes, this is pretty much a leer attack. Yay for Shalto being scary when he's mad.}}

Kepi was still disorientated, especially by her newfoud ability to lift things with her mind alone. It had happened on accident, really. As she agonized on how to pick up a still-asleep Swablu, the Ralts found herself wishfully thinking how convenient it'd be if she could just move the thing without really trying. When the Swablu half-lifted off the ground, she lost her concentration at the shock and dropped it again. More carefully, and concentrating harder this time around, Kepi eventually figured out how to get the (miraculously) still-asleep Pokemon off the ground. A couple seconds later, she was running off as fast as she could after the other Pokemon with the Swablu in tow.

Now, with the Swablu safely cushioned in what she had found to be very springy grass, Kepi stood facing the Onix. "I still have no idea what to do..." she mumbled to herself. To at least help, she looked around for something she could fling at the Rock Pokemon. "...Okay, I've got nothing..." She sidled behind the Squirtle. "Do you have any idea what I'm supposed to be able to do?" she asked him. "You seem to be the expert around here."

((Tell you what, let's see how well you do. Write a short, 500 word pokemon story and send the story to me. I'll give you until Saturday to write one. Mikey was still slightly shell shocked (alliteration!) as he stared in awe at the enraged rock snake.

In response to the Shalto's boldness, the angry Onix flinged mud into the Ghastly's eyes with his tail with ehough force to blast the ghost back about a hundred feet and rendered Shalto unconscious.

"Hello? Squirtle?" the Ralts standing next to him was tugging at his arm, "What do we do now?"

Mikey furrowed his turtley brow in thought. He looked over his shoulder at the unconscious Ghastly, then eyes the rampaging Onix. Mikey started anylizing the situation right away:

He has MudSlap, and I am pretty sure that he also knows Sandstorm... And I have to get in close to hurt him any...

"Ralts... you have a name?" Mikey asked, still sizing up the Onix.

"Kepi..."

"I'm Mikey. Do me a favor and keep an eye on everyone." Mikey then waved at Taifuun, "C'mon Taif'! I have an idea!"

The Cyndaquil nodded shaply and the two ran toward the Onix.

"CRUSH! SMASH! ARRR!!" the Onix roared as Mikey and Taifuun got closer, "SO MUCH NOISE! MAKE IT STOP!" The last sentence was punctuated with Iron Tail, causing the ground to rumble violently.

"I need a distraction!" Mikey shouted to Taifuun.

"One smokescreen, coming up!"

The area around Onix started cloud from Taifuun's smoke... but Onix responded by blowing the smoke away---

"GAH! He's got Dragonbreath!" Mikey shouted, doging the attack. He was quickly swatted away by Iron Tail. "AUGH!"

"What are we going to do?" Taifuun murmured, running over to the slightly dazed Mikey.

"You tell me... We need a distraction to get in close." Mikey looked back at the new pokemon with concern, "Or we're all toast."

((Who wants to be a distraction? 8D))

Zanther could hear that the Squirtle and Cyndaquil were trying something and he though he heard they needed something to distract the huge Onix. Not knowing why he sprinted towards the Onix and vered off to the left. "Hey, why are you soo mad?"

Russel was a bit hesitant to get involved in the fight at first - he wasn't sure his attacks would do any good against an Onix - but eventually decided he had to do something, even if he got knocked out. "Anything I can do?" he asked the Squirtle, who seemed to have a better idea what was going on than anyone else.
