shounen-ai: Technically speaking, shounen-ai is a form of professional manga, or comic book. Translated, it means 'boy's love.' Not 'boy love,' which could indeed be interpreted a number of ways, but boy's love, as in the act of loving and being in love without the involvement of females. In other words, shounen-ai is a professional genre devoted to relationships between a pair of fairly young, usually handsome men, and all their trails and tribulations. Therefore, the term doesn't apply to fanworks (doujinshi, zines...) at all.
yaoi: Yaoi is the actual Japanese term for fan comics. Unlike the english/american world of comics and copyrights, Japanese mangaka tend to enjoy and encourage the creation of elaborate works by their devoted fans. A fairly large percentage of these doujinshi pieces tend to explore romantic relationships that the artist or artists (known as a circle) wish had occurred or feel could still happen outside of the documented plot, and, naturally, some of these stories are fairly graphic (yaoi is actually an acronym for 'yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi' - 'no peak, no point, no meaning,' which should give you some idea of the general content of such work.) So yes, most yaoi is... shall we say, directed at an adult-only market.

Technically, yaoi does exist in the professional manga market, just as shonen ai exists in doujinshi. It's technically the nature of the relationship. Just because something has bishonen in it, for example, does not qualify it at shonen ai or as yaoi. There needs to be a love thing going there! Either love or sex, which is what essentially differentiates them. It's the difference between a romance novel and a pornography magazine. By the way: Doujinshi is the official term for amateur comics, but it's also come to mean fan comics. Yaoi can be original; it doesn't have to use copyrighted characters.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
