*Josiah and Opal landed a couple final hits on the dragon then backed off just in time to avoid Tashi's Meteor, which knocked the struggling dragon to the ground, KOing it.*

"Sweet! I got the KO!" *Silver cheered.*

"But Josiah and I were the ones who did all the work..."

*Josiah landed and unmerged.* "Come on, we have to check on the others!" *He, Silver, and Opal ran past Jeff and David, who were guarding Ivy, and headed towards Simeon and Virgo.*

"THAT DOES IT!!!" *Haku, spat blood on the ground and shot a look of pure hatred at Virgo.* "I'LL KILL YOU ALL NOW!!!" *He began to glow as his body expanded and changed shape.*

"Look out, he's transforming!"

"Why do these guys always think they can take all of us on by themselves?" *Josiah mused as Haku's transformation completed.*

"Hey, don't complain. I'm fine with that."

*Virgo jumped away from Haku, evading a vicious attack, and backed towards Josiah.* "He's faster now, I can say that much."

"Virgo, would you mind playing defense for a bit?"

"Huh, I guess not, why?"

"No special reason. I just figured that some of my other monsters might be getting bored since I haven't used them lately."

"Ok, I'll stay here and heal for a while. Just let me know if you want me to attack again."

"ENOUGH TALKING!!!" *Haku glared at Josiah.* "Sicker Claw!!!" *The claws on Haku's hand detached (to be instantly replaced by new ones) and shot towards Josiah.*

*Josiah was unperturbed by the attack.* "Go Ice Celestial! Freezedown!" *The claws, now covered with a glistening coat of ice, fell harmlessly to the ground.* "Come on guys, let's take this monster down!"

"Kuiia use Dragon Rage!" A massive fireball came and struck Haku from behind.

"Mystical Shinning Ball use Dark Purge!" A beam of energy shot out and also struck him from behind.

Soon Neo and Tsuekasa were beside Josiah ontop of Kuiia. "Figured you could use some help."

"Wow, you were gona for a long time." Silver said sarcastically upon Neo's arrival. "Ah, whatever. Your idea of a vacation's not important right now. Tashi, use Toxic Bite, and before you flee for your life, use Omega Inferno!" Since evil demon form Haku was distracted by being attacked on all sides, I don't think there would've been much of a problem getting close.

Simeon clenched his left hand as his entire arm started glowing with a red aura. He had been biding his time, charging this attack... At last, Simeon saw an opening in the chaos and made his strike, landing his Phantom Paw attack square on the raging demon.

Deftly, Simeon backflipped away just in time for Tashi to unleash Omega Inferno...

*Haku howled in rage as the attacks struck then turned and charged Silver, leaving its back to Josiah.*

"Gee, he's sure easily distracted. Not too smart either, giving me an open shot at his back. Ice Celestial, use Perfect Zero!" *The blast struck Haku, causing him to stumble. But, surprisingly, it didn't distract him from his current target."

"Oh Fudge Crackers!" Silver shouted, Haku still chasing after him even though there was a whole flock of other people attacking the sin. "Get out here, Arco! Use Colors of the Wind and get him away from us!"

"This is too easy." *Josiah commented as Silver's attack knocked Haku right into another blast of Perfect Zero.* "All the power in the world isn't any good if you can't hit anything."

*Haku stumbled. It appeared that all the damage was finally getting to him.*

The attack struck Haku square in the chest, and he reeled back and collapsed on the ground. There was a horrible roar from his body when it suddenly exploded. What was left was a crate the size of a bus and a smouldering body in the middle.

Haku got up, now in human form, and stumbled forward "I'll....kil-l-l.....i'll kil....." he muttered, before he collapsed again, dead.

His body was consumed by a darkness suddenly and it then vanished into mist, much like it had done to Ivy before.

Haku's still form lay silently at the edge of the crate. A card glowing a brilliant white in his burnt hands.

Mirror (who is pro-aiding as Shauni still) walked forward and examined the corpse
"His hate has burnt out."
She picked up the card from his hand with no hesitation, for Mirror had no feelings such as fear or disgust, "Which one of you will take this?"
She read the card
"It says Patience"

Spell card: Patience: Pursuit of Peace: Reduced enemy's accuracy by half

*Josiah watched as the card flew out of Shauni's hand and hovered infront of Simeon. It was interesting how they chose their owners like that. In the back of his mind, Josiah couldn't help wondering which card would choose him.*

*He also noticed that Shauni seemed to be acting oddly again, simply snatching the card away from Haku's corpse like that. Was it the mischief gods again or something else? He made a mental note to talk to Virgo about it later.*

"Well, that's too down." *Josiah turned to the others.* "We'll have to stay alert. It looks like these guys aren't just going to wait for us to reach their territories like the chosen and zodiacs did."

"At least it saves time."
