*Jeff was silent the entire trip back to Codo's hut. The others discussed what they should do after they arrived. After 2 weeks of traveling they are back at Codo's hut.*

<span style='color:blue'>"Jeff you've been awfully quiet."</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"It... it wasn't supposed to be like this. I should be dead. Does this mean I'm going to die in the future? I'm so confused. I wish I knew what was going to happen. Somehow I don't think our journey is over."</span>

"You're a smart one aren't you?"

<span style='color:purple'>"Amhal... you bastard! Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't I know that I would be saved?"</span>

"I would've if I had known. It would seem some... unforseen changes occured, right Silver?."

<span style='color:gray'>"Right..."</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"So what does my future hold? Will I die again."</span>

"I don't know... That purge has altered my data. My second sight cannot see the future, only the past."

<span style='color:green'>"I think it's better this way. I'd rather not know my future, especially if it's a grim one."</span>

"Well in any case, let's see if Codo has made any progress."

<span style='color:red'>"Ah... it's good to see you again."</span>

"Have you found out anything?"

<span style='color:red'>"There is still no curing him... I'm sorry. I've studied it over and over and performed thousands of tests and none of them have seperated him from the card. I was able to purify the monster. If one of you wants to use him then he's all yours. It's odd though, the name of the monster is Mutation Felix. I've never heard of a mutation monster."</span>

"A mutation monster!"

<span style='color:red'>"You've heard of it?"</span>

"Yes I have several."

*She shows him her monsters.*

<span style='color:red'>"Interesting... it seems I don't know everything about monsters. Well in any case I have no more tests I can run. So here take him. His moves are: Felix Flash, Purged Data, Conversion, and Golden Sun"</span>

"Mutation Felix huh..."

[Josiah]

((Crap I missed a lot!))

<span style='color:blue'>"Well, Shauni, you're the one collecting mutation monsters so I guess it's yours." *Josiah was looking uneasy.* "Hey guys, you do realize that we didn't actually kill the last chosen right?"</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"But the purge in the cave..."</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"Would have simply returned it to its original form. But why hasn't it attacked us yet? It's been two weeks and absolutely nothing has happened, that can't be good."</span>

"The purge wasn't entirely instantanious. The code is probably still repairing itself. That must be why."

<span style='color:purple'>"So you mean that at any time the purge could complete and the earth chosen could decide to ambush us?"</span>

<span style='color:red'>"How right you all are!" *The ground began to shake violently as pillers of stone shot through the floor. The group desperately ran for the door and stumbled outside to find the earth chosen waiting with a new monster.* "At last it's time to destroty you medling intruders once and for all!" *She laughed.*</span>

"I won't let you!"

<span style='color:red'>"Sorry prince but I don't need you interfering!" *The chosen flicked her hand in a strange motion and Amhal fell to the ground, screaming in pain. Then, with another flick he simply vanished.* "Now that he's out of the way let's begin. Perfect Golam, destroy them all!"</span>

*Codo dropped back as everyone else reached for their monsters. Shauni's eyes were flashing as she summoned Mutation Felix. Josiah grabbed Night Wing but he wasn't planning to fight normally. Thrusting his hand towards the sky he repeated the same words he'd used before. A dark glow surrounded him. When it faded feathery black wings sprounted from his back and a dark aura surrounded his already black clothed body. A long jagged sword was in his hand.*

<span style='color:blue'>"No. I am, Dark Omega."</span>

*The ground beneath him starts to shake!*

<span style='color:purple'>"That power!"</span>

"What about it?"

<span style='color:purple'>"It's unbelievable. This battle is going to be epic."</span>

<span style='color:brown'>"You're not the only one who can merge. Watch this!"</span>

*The others stand in awe. Would this be the final battle? Who will win?*

[Silver]

<span style='color:brown'>*The Earth Chosen combined with Perfect Golem to create Perfect Chosen! She was now about 15 feet tall with skin made of rock and spiked steel fists, so heavy her feet started sinking in the ground if she stayed still to long* "Perfect Chosens!" *She created two smaller versions of herself that attacked Josiah*</span>

<span style='color:green'>"Let's take care of those two so he can get rid of the real one!"</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"Right! Me and Silver will dispose of the first one, You and Shauni can eliminate the other! Go Drakonne!"</span>

<span style='color:green'>"Go Fire Orc!"</span>

"Go Ying-Yang!"

<span style='color:gray'>"Go Toshi!"</span>

[Ibun]

<span style='color:purple'>"Time for my ultimate attack! Drakonne use Aura!"</span>

*All of the monsters begin to glow.*

<span style='color:gray'>"What's going on?"</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"All of our attacks have been upgraded. They should be more powerful now. For example Drakonne use Holy Explosion!"</span>

*An attack that looked just like holy crush nailed the chibi-chosen. A large gaping hole was in the chosen's chest.*

<span style='color:purple'>"It only lasts for 30 seconds. Hurry up and attack!"</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"Right! Toshi use Pheonix Wing!"</span>

*Toshi's wings heated up to 1 million degrees before he unleashed his attack. The chibi-chosen was obliterated.*

<span style='color:green'>"Okay. Orc use Magma Eruption!"</span>

*Several volcanoes appeared and erupted. The lava flowed in the direction of the other chibi-chosen.*

"Ying Yang! Use Friendship Bond!"

*Ying Yang began to glow. Above him the images of all her friends appeared. Each image sent out a devistating beam attack. The second chibi-chosen was destroyed.*

*All this time Josiah and the Chosen were battling evenly.*

<span style='color:brown'><span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>"It was merely a distraction while the plan goes into effect."</span></span>

<span style='color:blue'><span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>"What plan?"</span></span>

<span style='color:brown'><span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>"The hacker of course. She's ressurecting the three god monsters as we speak. I knew I was no match for you. So I decided to distract you as long as possible."</span></span>

<span style='color:blue'><span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>"Grim Outlook!!!"</span></span>

*The chosen is destroyed. Josiah returnes to his normal form.*

<span style='color:blue'>"I can't believe I didn't see that. What a fool I am."</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"I don't care what monsters the hacker has in store. We'll defeat them."</span>

<span style='color:green'>"We're in this together, Josiah. We'll stop him, no matter what."</span>

"This will be our last battle. Let's make it count!"

<span style='color:purple'>"I've already died for you once. If I have to, I'll do it again."</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"Thank you, everyone."</span>

((I remembered... It's all shauni's fault! *points*))

"Manja, Kanma, and Kuiia..." A voice in the winds echod around them. "ARISE!" The echoing stopped. From the sky The Light/DarkManja flew down. The Fire/Water Kanma type materialized in front of them. From the ground the Ice/Electric type Kuiia emerged

<span style='color:purple'>"YES!"</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"YES!"</span>

<span style='color:green'>"YES!"</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"Right! Then let's do this! Send out all of your monsters!"</span>

<span style='color:red'>CHAPTER 7: THE FINAL BATTLE?</span>

"I'll start off with this. REMOVE POWER!"

*The five of them felt a slight tingling but it quickly passed.*

"In case you're wondering, I just took away all your abilities. That means no merging with monsters, Josiah and... well you get the picture. It's just my 3 god monsters versus your monsters. This should be fun!"

EVERYBODY: "Let's go my monsters!"

[Josiah]

<span style='color:blue'>"Is it just me or is this looking a bit unfair?" *Josiah summoned all his monsters.* "Couldn't we just fight them one at a time or something?"</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"Doesn't look like we're gonna get that chance."</span>

<span style='color:red'>"Wait! I can help you!" *Codo ran out from hiding.* "Full Growth!" *Everyones monsters began to glow and suddenly grew into their final forms.*</span>

"You! Stop interfering!" *A bolt of lightning struck Codo and he collapsed.*

<span style='color:gray'>"Oh no!"</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"Well, I'm still not liking the odds but here we go!"</span>

Ommie/Ummie was now the large Tricertops like Monster Crystal had showed them a while ago. Dark Blue skin with three light blue, almost shining horns coming out of its face. It's skin was smooth and slippery so it would do well in water, with a little bunny tail used as a sponge. Hueno/Huene still looked basically the same, just with large, hipnotic wings. Kojyo/Kojie was a large Lion with grass fur, a vine tail, leafy ears and a large, leafy mane. Dragder/Rekilec resembled a Dragonite with the familiar lighting horns and large angel wings. It was now a Light/Electric Type

<span style='color:green'>"We outnumber them, just believe in your monsters and we can win!"</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"Let's see, how many movies have I seen that in?" *Starts counting on fingers*</span>

[Ibun]

*While silver was counting, the hacker attacked.*

"My monsters combine attacks and use Unholy Breath of the Demon God!"

*A one-time attack obliterated the field. Black Flare, Night Wing, Mogalmel, Drakonne, Fangrel, Kojyo, Heuno, Dragder, Tech Golem, and Ying-Yang and Leo were KILLED.*

"You're lucky I can only do that once."

<span style='color:blue'>"Heh." *Josiah grinned, that attack had been powerful but it had brought an important point to light. "For the person who's supposed to be in control of this world it looks like you're not as powerful as I thought. If you really had control you could use that attack as much as you wanted." *Josiah glanced at his monsters. Raydion was now a good six and a half feet tall with four shimmering wings and beautiful glowing sword.* "Now I think we may be able to do this. It's our turn to attack! Electricutz, Electric Heaven! Raydion, Wrath of God!"</span>

suddenly a meanising laugh surrounded them
"Whats so funny!" yelled Shauni!
The laughting stopped
A firgure began to appere infront of them
Lines of coding merged and what remained was a figure that looked just like Shauni, except she had long waving hair that blue in the wind
She looked up, semrking "So, we meet at last, sort of."
"what the, how the?" yelled the others
Shauni stared at her creator
The girl pulled a lock of hair out of her face "i couldnt get rid of you with my coding, so I decied to come her myself"
"You can go in and out of this world at will....then you can get us out of here!" yelled Silver
The hacker looked over at Silver, noking him over just by looking at him, she had total contole over everthing
"No, way would I let a virus out of here?"
Shauni glared at her "They arnt viruses! There real people, im the virus, take this out on me"
The hacker looked ovr at her, realising she looked almost identical to her
She suddenly looked suprised "You...are the virus, yet you show morality?"
The hacker pushed her hair aside, her face showing, she looked just like shauni
"I am Samantha, and this is my world which was mutated by you..."
Shauni suck her head "You are hurting us...we arnt an anomoly in a program, we have though and emotion...even i do. Please, you have to stop hurting us!"
Samantha suck her head also "No.....your just coding...>"
Shauni walked over to her, and placed her hand on her shoulder
Samantha jumped with supprise "You feel so real...."
Shauni closed her eyes and removed her hand "We are real, and if you restart the program.....we will all die"
Samatha looked at Shauni and her friends, the sun suddenly came out, and the god monsteres reduced to baby levels
Samantha smiled "Alright, but Im afraid you cant leave, if you are created of this world, then you dont have a phsysical body...."

[Ibun]

<span style='color:purple'>"So what do we have to do to get out of here?"</span>

"Simple. Kill the virus."

<span style='color:purple'>"Is that all? That'll be easy."</span>

"!!!"

<span style='color:purple'>"Time to kill the virus. DATA SWITCH!"</span>

*Binary code appeared above both Jeff and Shauni. The code flew from one to the other.*

<span style='color:purple'>"Okay so now I'm the virus. Time to say good-bye everybody."</span>

*Before he could kill himself, Shauni intervened.*

"Not again Jeff. I won't let you die again. There must be another way. Please don't do this. You can't die Jeff. "

<span style='color:purple'>"I'm sorry Shauni... I didn't mean to hurt you. Let's find another way. If there is none, I'll have no choice."</span>

"Okay, I understand."

<span style='color:blue'>"Where do we go next?"</span>

<span style='color:green'>"I don't know."</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"Suddenly I don't feel like laughing."</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"I lost Black Flare, Night Wing, and Mogalmel."</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"I lost Kojyo, Heuno, and Dragder.</span>

<span style='color:green'>"I only lost tech-golem."</span>

"I lost Ying-Yang and Mutation Leo."

<span style='color:purple'>"and I lost Drakonne and Fangrel."</span>

"I guess we should bury the ashes."

<span style='color:purple'>"Yes I agree."</span>

Samantha watched as they all buried the ashes, an idea came to mind

"Tell you wat, you gusy stand still, ill back up the data and reboot, that wasy the monsters you caught wont be dead."

They all perked up
"You would really do that for us?"
Samantha noded "Sure"
Shauni walked over to her an wishpered "Can you bring back Yomico as well? She was rikku"

Samantha noded sure


The hacker disapred into coding and everyone left a little strange for a monent, then the world was rerset (like that bit at the end of the last matrix film)

All the monsters where retured to there holders

Shauni and co cheered

Suddenly shaunis PDA beeped
"Hay, I got an e-mail, its from Samantha"

The e-mail read

"Hi gang, that should do it, Yomico is back at the staring village, your monsters should be fine also. I figured out another way to get you guys out, you need all the mutation card, there are two more somewhere. If you then e-mail them to me as well as shauni, it will be as if the virus was gone, and you can leave. After you have gone I will put shauni back again, unfortunaly theres no way for her to leave"

shauni frowened "I always knew this would happen, I guess its the only way"

Her friends looked at her sadly

[Silver]

<span style='color:gray'>"So now all we've gotta do is find the two remaining mutation cards... that shouldn't be hard."</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"I don't know, this is a big game, they could be anywhere!"</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"We've already been through half of it..."</span>

"Actually, about 75% of it."

<span style='color:gray'>"What she said, so we know they've gotta be in the little area we didn't search!"</span>

<span style='color:green'>"You mean there?" *Points to a tower*</span>

It was the game's battle tower, and one of the final mutation cards was being used as a prize!
