Yukiya, who had fallen asleep on the balcony of her apartment, awoke with a start as she heard screams coming from the street below. She ran over to the railing and looked down at the scene. People were being attacked by tiny black creatures.
Her immediate reaction was to find the fire escape and scale down it to reach the street as quickly as possible. When her feet were firmly on the ground, she looked around for something that could be used as a make-shift weapon. Spotting nothing suitable, she decided to go bare-handed and ran out into the street.
One of the creatures noted her entrance and lunged at her. Yukiya dodged it and counter-attacked with a kick. But it only passed through the creature without explaination. "What's going on here?", she questioned.

Hearing commotion {and the scuttling down the fire escape} Stevenson discovered that -gasp!- it appeared the whole town was under attack. He grabbed his staff, and ran down the fire escape as well. He was attacked by one of the creatures, and blocked it with hsi staff, which the creature phazed through. "Oh, crap." he said, swinging rapidly through the creature.

Silver had fallen asleep on the roof of the appartment building - he did that a lot, actually - and finally woke up when the feather he had been admiring the night before nearly blew out of his hand. Funny how the little black invaders failed to do that. However, once he was awake it was kind of hard not to hear the trouble going on on the ground, and he decided he had to do something; after putting the feather back where it belonged, Silver grabbed onto a rain gutter and slid down. He jumped off long before reaching the ground and landed on one of the attacking creatures... but found that he went right through. "Oh, crap! That freaken hurt! Note to self: NEVER jump off a building again! Oh geez, my ankle must have totally DIED there..." he shouted, even though no one was paying attention, and then looked at the Heart-I mean, black thing, "Ok I'm done over reacting now. Now why won't you die?" He poked the one he'd just stepped on with a stick that I guess he found on the ground, but it did nothing.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Colar took a few steps back as 3 of the creatures walked toward him.
"How are we supposed to beat these things?"
He ended up looking up, noticing 3 others failing to do anything to these creatures. He stopped moving, having bumped into a wall, then closed his eyes.
"Is this really it...?"
He opened his eyes as one of the creatures jumped at him. He brought his hands up in defense, but once again closig his eyes as his hand started to glow. He blinked open, noticing the large key in his hand. The creatured bounced off the key. He blinked once more, examining the key, which looked like the cross between a key and a lightningstorm (Just use your imagination.) He looked down to the creatures, who began to back away. He brought the key down at one of the creatures. The creature just seemed to turn into a puff of black smoke. He clenched the key tighter.
"... I must be dreaming... This is all a dream... Right?"
(It is now all right to have your keyblade appear. These heartless won't yield any Experience, but the next group of enemies will start the experience gain.)

Yukiya looked around, only to discover that the creatures had now surrounded her. She stood her ground, preparing for the worst. The creatures all leaped at her, forming a living shadow around her.
Instantly, a light broke through the creatures and made them disappear. Yukiya stood there, eyes closed. In her right hand, there was a large key. The end of it resembled a mass of ice crystals and shards. The blade of the key was an icey blue color.
She had subconsciously held out her right hand at the creatures when the key appeared to her. When she felt nothing but the weight of the key in her hand, she opened her eyes. "I'm alive...?", she asked, a bit confused. "And...what is this thing?", she held the key up to look at it.

"Can't we all just get along?" Silver asked the black monsters that now had him cornered, his back to the building he'd just jumped off of. "You guys are seriously not cool." he mumbled as one of the shadows jumped at him. He held the stick he'd been using to poke it earlier out, in hopes of stabbing it despite the fact it had done absolutely nothing before, but found that he wasn't holding a stick anymore. Instead was a bizarre weapon, the handle adorned with dragon wings and the blade itself resembling fire.
Ignoring the complete and total weirdness, it did seem to work against whatever the attackers were, and Silver chose to ask questions later, kick butt now.

Okay. Let's see. Since these things appear o be ethereal, they shouldn't be able to hurt me." he said, as one of the Shadows jumped him. "Or not." he said, attempting to swat it away. Oddly enough, Stevenson's right hand was now adorned with some kind of device. It was gray, and appeared to be made out of the wind. The end jutted out in what looked to be some sort of purple fan. "Intriguing." he said, mainly becase this weapon had indeed worked on the creatures when nothing else had.

Colar kept hitting the creatures.
"There's no end to them!"
"Of course. All the people perishing here are just summoning more. You can't stop them... And even if you can..."
The strange figure pulled up his weapon.
"I'll see to your doom myself."
He charged forward.
Colar took a step back, and brought the weapon up as a defense measure.
"I knew I should have learned how to use this better..."

Yukiya swung the strange blade-like weapon down on top of another black creature and looked around. Her gaze caught on a boy and a person in a white cloak about to begin a fight. Was this the person who had unleashed the creatures into their village?
Grasping the handle of her strange weapon tightly, she ran over to the two. Ending up at the boy's side, she held her weapon out at the man and glared up at him as he ran at them.

Stevenson hit one of the creatures again, and it seemed to dissapear. "Intruiging." he said. It was then that he noticed two kids from his apartment building fighting some guy who was clearly a rip-off of the Orginization. Imean, a guy in a white coat. he decided, since it was part of the plot, I mean because he had a strong sense of justice, to go and help them. He ran and skidded alongside Yukiya.

Silver finally noticed the other people fighting off the black things with weapons that vaguely resembled his - or at least, they would have been fighting off the black things if another weird guy wasn't attacking them. Figuring that they must have SOME idea what was going on but wouldn't be able to explain anything if they were dead, Silver ran over and joined the others because of the whole 'strength in numbers' thing.

After easily fending the kids off, he leapt backwards, shoving his hand forward, unleashing a wave of wind, pushing them all away. The man landed, then stood up straight, holding up the large key, and pointing it beyond the others. A dark smirk fell upon his face as a dark beam shot from the key, past the kids, and seemed to collide with a large keyhole that appeared from seemingly nowhere. Next was heard the sound of the keyhole 'unlocking'. The man lowered the key, and laughed.
"Yet another world consumed by my hand..."
He said this as darkness began flowing from the newly opened 'keyhole', and flooding the area, consuming everything in its path.
Colar struggled to get away from the darkness, but it was moving too fast. It wrapped around his legs, and started reaching out, to pull him in.
(You know, much like in the first game at the first part, where Sora got consumed and what-not)

Yukiya felt herself sinking, being pulled down into the utter darkness. The darkness itself spiraled up around her legs and arms, as if making sure she could not free herself. Rather than let fear guide her actions, she tried to remain calm as the darkness slowly consumed her.
