((FYI: this test will end friday night so you have until then to make any additional posts. Remember, your scores for each test are based on what your character does in your posts.))

*Gyro and Flashcon backed up against a wall. Gyro did his best to protect their tennis ball while Flashcon used sparkler blaster to drive away the extremely persistent flying drones. There weren't many players left now and it was likely that few would make it through the remaining time.*

Hotshot kept up his routine of dodging, slicing, and firing. It was working just fine, we wasn't built for up close combat. This wasn't going to be one of his better tests...

Kilth pretty much knew this. He hoped that this test wasnt a heavy grave, there was not much else Hotshot could do other than hide and snipe, so protecting wasnt his best option.

Opal continued to do what she was doing....

"No offence, but dodging is quite boring." She yawned.

"It might be...but not everything can be entertaining." Sharkan said.

"Good point, but meh." She shrugged, tripping a passing kid.

"Oh noes! My item! The glasses! I broke 'em!" He sobbed.

"That'll hold me." She smiled.

"Damn, there's too many of them!" *A large cluster of the remaining enemy medabots had converged on Gyro's location, leaving him and Flashcon in a bad situation.* "There isn't much time left, Flashcon you're gonna have to be a shield, I can't protect this thing much longer!"

"Why do I always get the lousy jobs?" *Flashcon dove infront of Gyro, taking a hail of enemy fire. Just then a buzzer went off, signaling the end of the test. The attackers instantly shut down.*

"This portion of the test is complete." *Juliet's voice echoed over the PA system.* I will be there shortly to take you to the break room. You will have one hour before the next section of the test. Food and drink will be provided and you'll be able to repair your medabots as well. Your scores will be displayed momentarily on the monitors by the door."

Opal took a small sigh of relief.
"Thank god that's over. Wait, food?" She trucked over into the waiting room. "Sharkan, how do you feel?" She asked.
"I can use a little adjustment. About all." he said.
"Can do." She said, grabbing a plate full of snacks, then started to fix Sharkan.

((Uh, Opal, Kiaryu got 220... I'm only pointing this out because otherwise people won't realize that I did the worst. w00t! I suck!))

"What?! Only 20 for evasion?!"

"We DID kinda stay in the corner the whole time..."

"Good point. And I guess we seriously owned in the last challenge thing, so it doesn't matter. What DOES matter is... FREE FOOD!"

((Just to let you know, adding all the scores up doesn't give a full picture of performance. For example, Silver did get the lowest total score in the test but he kicked everyone's ass in the defense section.))

"Not bad." *Gyro glanced at his score then followed the others towards the break room.* "I should have got a better evasion score though. Is it my fault the robots always showed up where ever I was hanging out?"

"When you're done whining I could use some repairs. That last barrage really hurt."

"Ok, just a sec." *Gyro hit a few buttons on his meda watch, switching all of Flashcon's parts to one of several identical sets he kept handy for quick swaps. This was Flashcon was ready to go and he could repair the damaged parts at his leisure.* "Now I'm gonna go check out the food."

"Wow. We did better than we thought we'd do."

"I'm just that awe-"

"Don't even finish that sentence..."

Kilth joked, chuckling and shaking his head.

"Ha ha..."

"Why don't we join the crowd?"

"Doesn't seem like a good idea."

"Why?"

"Well, some might not like you for having a great score."

"... Well..."

"We did good" said Lidefi after the test

"but... Not good enough.....for me" Kiaryu replied

They walked into the break room and Kiaryu switched Lidefi's part because he was to tired to repair the damage.

Medabot: Lidefi
Abilities:
Head ? Scope Master (Gives the ability to see and sense opponents, even if they are invisible. Increases accuracy)
Torso - Glass wings (grants the ability to fly and offers increased speed while in the air, however manuverability isn?t that good)
Right arm ? Celestial Cresent (A sword of light which is able to produce a cresent shaped projectile)
Left arm ? Delta Blaster (a long range gun weapon with a very powerful impact but hasn?t got good accuracy)
Right leg ? Alpha Rush (Increases the speed of movement)
Left leg - Alpha Rush (Increases the speed of movement)

"Once again, brains prevail!" laughed Wally maniacally. "Oh, yeah. And you did a really, really good job too. Which is probably why we got a good score in defense and evasion. Good job."

"Thanks, that...means...alot." said Ninjutsu, looking over the other participants. "There seems to be an unusual amount of fear here...Do you know waht hapens if we fail in these tests?"

"Umm...No. I suppose we should go about finding that out."

"I've seen a lot of these people before..." *Gyro mused, glanced around the room as he made his way to the snack table.* "Guess the Medakings aren't too selective, at least in their initial recruiting. I suppose the more people they have on their side the better. I'm sure only the ones who do well in these tests get placed in the good groups."

*Before long the hour was up and the medafighters found themselves herded into the elevator on their way to the next test. Soon, the door opened to reveal...*

"Rigel Dracone." *the muscular young man said without and preamble.* "I'll be running the next part of the test." *He stepped aside, revealing a large and very long chamber.* "One of the most important things in fighting is strength and power. Some have it, some don't. This test is to seperate the strong from the weak. Go line up over there. I'll be over in a minute to explain the rules."

"Ok," *Rigel returned,* "each of you find an empty lane." *He gestured towards a serious of numbered paths that filled most of the room.* "You have to stay on your path at all times and you can't interfere with people on other paths. The goal is to make it to the end of your path as quickly as possible. Along the way are obstacles that will require strength to pass, door, rocks, walls, stuff like that. You'll be rated on Strength, Power, and Speed. No get into position and wait for the buzzer."
