<span style='color:olive'>The beetle flew once again over to tikawa's shoulder. "I suppose now he's taking us to our deaths. You can not just tell everyone you see that you're starting a rebellion. On the bright side, the one-eyed featherite can't follow us here."</span>
Stevenson's Vocabulary Word of the Week:
Foment: (verb) To excite or arouse, i.e. 2014's Week of Randomness hopes to foment some activity on the forums.
Stevenson's Latin Phrase of the Week:
Brutum Fulmen: (senseless thunderbolt) This phrase, coined by Pliny the elder, is used to refer to an empty threat.

<span style='color:blue'>Artemis became abstracted, wondering why the Featherite had been following her. "I'm not that strange, am I...?", she questioned herself while following the others.</span>

(And I live again.)(What am I now, a multi-undead zombie?)
(And since I kinda faded out of the roleplay, I'll pretend Aeria got lost/seperated/blah. It's gonna be really lame since I'm trying to do homework right now. Bad me.)
<span style='color:brown'> Aeria had been blown away from the others; she had gotten a little bit too close to the explosion. Sitting alone in a tree, trying her best to replace her frayed bowstring, she wondered where the others were. Did they even realize she had vanished? The featherite pushed the thought from her head and stood, her taloned feet gripping the branch with ease. Spreading her wings, she took to the sky. Time to see where her newfound friends had wandered off to...and if they were still alive.</span>
(I'll put up a new character too, but I'm not sure if that will be too much from me in such short notice. Sorry again for dropping out.)
Name: Acantha Kurosawa
Gender: Female
Race: Demon (Flora and I made this species up on a different roleplaying forum. Is that okay? I'll be putting her full description instead of just clothing. Basic demon characteristics will be bolded.)
Class: Beastlord (Yes, I know. Same class for both characters.)
Age: demon-18, human-198 (one demon year = 11 human)
Description: Acantha has slanted black eyes with slitted pupils. Her ears are narrow and pointed, and her teeth are unusually sharp. Her black hair is straight and reaches her thighs, with a braid right in front of each ear. She keeps the rest of it in a ponytail. Her fingernails tend to form a point, and her feet end in claws. Two very small black wings--bat-like--sprout from her shoulder blades. Though they won't let her fly, they enable her to run very fast and--if she tries hard enough--across water. She wears a long black dress with ragged cuffs. Her weapon, a long, slightly curved knife, hangs from a black belt around her waist. Her skin is abnormally pale, approaching white.
Wingspan: About five feet
Abilities/Skills:
~ Shapeshift-Kinda self-explanatory.
~ Stasis Field-She creates a force field around her opponent, reducing their life processes to minimum and obliterating any reactions to outside stimuli.
~ Animal/Beast Summon
~ Plant Summon-She calls up plants and accelerates their growth, enabling them to wind themselves around her enemy
~ Translate-She can speak to and understand any species of animal
Starting Location: Paineel, at the bar
Text Color: <span style='color:steelblue'>Steel Blue</span>
Character History: Acantha had been living a peaceful life in the forest before the Scarlet Crusade came, leveled the clearing she and her parents lived in, and built a fort (same one that blew up). Both her parents died resisting them, and for over half a century she harbored a festering hatred for the Crusade.

(Since no one made up what the city boundaries look like, I'll improvise. XD)
<span style='color:brown'>Aeria hovered a few hundred feet above Paineel, the closest city she knew of. Scanning the city for anything familiar, she couldn't see her friends. Frowning, she flew to the city entrance they should have used to enter, landing just inside the gates. Glancing around, she walked around the street, picking a tavern at random and entering it. Luckily for her, she just happened to pick the one with her friends.</span>(Lame way to reintroduce her, yes, I know. And is Acantha approved? I don't want to use her until Artemis gives the green light...)

<span style='color:olive'>The beetle suddenly turned back in to a vampyre.

<span style='color:darkblue'>"The only bad thing is they aren't well trained. I'm not a warrior, I can't train them, I'm only a mage."</span>
<span style='color:green'>"Your a mage?"</span>

<span style='color:olive'>"How can you be a resistance, and worry about laws?" asked Raphael. "In war, if you wish to win, you cannot obey the rules of your enemy." He looked at the small group, called the resistance. "A well trained assassin could kill all of you easily." he said. "They do not carry themselves like warriors."</span>

<span style='color:brown'>Aeria looked around for any sign of her friends. She didn't see any familiar faces, but noticed one person in the tavern was staring intently at her. The Featherite managed to ignore her for a few minutes, but finally snapped. Quite annoyed, she faced the black-clad stranger. "What?"</span>
<span style='color:steelblue'>"You're the fourth odd-looking one with wings coming in the last half hour or so." Acantha twiddled her too-sharp thumbs. She was seated at the bar, a cup of orange juice in front of her. Her wings were folded behind her, and since they were so small</span><span style='color:brown'> Aeria didn't see them. At least, not yet.
"Fourth..." Aeria blinked. "Did they include a male Dragonian with navy blue scales and a female Shadowing wearing mostly black?"</span>
<span style='color:steelblue'>"As a matter of fact..." Acantha took a long sip from her juice. "Yes. They went that way-" She pointed. "-along with the tavern owner." She paused and drained the cup. "If you don't mind, I'd like to tag along." She grinned, her canines glinting faintly. "I heard them mention the Crusade, and I'm curious to know why."</span>
<span style='color:brown'>"Um...I suppose...Thanks for telling me." Aeria turned and entered the hallway.</span><span style='color:steelblue'> Acantha followed her, making slightly less noise than wind blowing through tree leaves.</span>
