Lash held up his hand, and roots of the nearby trees rose up and wrapped around the feet of three charging crusaders.
"I may be blind..." he said, blocking a sword with his rose whip. "But do NOT underestimate me." " He twisted his whip, dissarming the Crusader.

Artemis slew the guards that came after her. "I may be a woman but I can kick your butts!", she declared, flying over their slaughtered corpses. Her next target was Mongraine himself. As she approached him, she threw a sharp strike at him. "Die, Crusade scum!"

He swung his staff, knocking the guards coming after him.

He grabbed her sword, and ripped it fromh er hands, and kicked at her gut.

Artemis hit the ground but didn't stay down. She stood up, holding her stomach. "Darn, that hurt... But I've taken worse!", she stated. She flew into the air again and tore a branch off of a near-by tree. It would serve as a temporary weapon until she got her sword back.

"Bring it, red heads!" Silver called, tossing his cloak aside so it wouldn't get in the way before charging at one of the approaching guards. A slash across the face with his claws sent the guard reeling back, no doubt suffering from the same handicap as Lash now. And without the years of experience that allowed the elf to fight without sight, the guard was essentially incapacitated.

He stepped back, and causes a bright flash (For those not blind), and leaps back, before the one thats used tob e being blind can do anything.

((Oh, heavens no. The thought did occur to me at one point, but it has long past. And I've read to the most recent page.
Oh, and mage who's name escapes me=best character.))

Deciding it was in his best interest to help the girl, Lash used Plant surge on the broken tree branch, making it longer and sharper. He then procceeded to lash out (no puun intended....or was it?) at a few more thugs, who, foolishly thought he couldn't smell them sneaking up from behind. He quickly used plant surge to cut them to ribbons with petals of nearby plants, moving at amazingly high speeds.

((Lash, of course, can not tell everyone else has been blinded, so he has no idea that he should no attack the leader.))

Artemis covered her eyes from the flash. When she next looked, a guard was charging at her. She impaled him on the branch and angrily shoved him into the dirt. "Dang it... That jerk took my sword with him.", she said. She removed her foot from the guard and clenched her fists.

Oh yes, and quick! Somebody, name the stick that Artemis's using and Lash just genetically enhanced! Keep in mind that the names 'Poodle' and 'Chihuahua' are already taken.))

Silver shielded his eyes from the blinding light, and when he was finally able to see again, he noticed that something seemed to be missing... but before he could figure out what, he heard a guard approaching from behind and turned to inflict the same handicap he had on the previous attacker.

Artemis sighed and bent down to take the now deceased guard's sword. "This will serve until I get my own sword back.", she said, standing once more and slipping the SC sword into her sheath. She looked over and noticed Tikawa was having a little trouble. "Tikawa, you okay?", she called to him.

"Then let's end it. For your sake and the sake of all their innocent victims.", Artemis replied.

She walked over to him and then surveyed the corpses littering the ground at their feet. Battles and stainging her sword with blood did not usually bother her but this time, for the first time, she felt as though she didn't want to see blood or wounds for a while.

"Does anyone else feel like leaving this place?", she asked.

He sighed, closed his eyes, and turned to walk away.

"But what can I do? I'm just a Cleric..."

The unknown Ninja was standing in front of him, having appeared seemingly out of thin air.

"You have hidden power, as do you all. You all should hurry on to the next town, before they can get too much of an upper hand on you. Teamwork, young ones... Teamwork..."

Artemis stepped up beside Tikawa.

"That's right. We have to work together in order to have any chance at destroying the SC. But we have such a small number, barely enough for a true resistance...", she replied.
