It's not horrible! You just need to practice! For one thing, you might wanna use the same size for the same sprites. Just a tip.

No really. That sprite definitley is one of my worst. And it would have helped to have known how to do transparenting at that point too.

Arrg, the topic, it is coming back to life!
Here's some more sprites... a shameless recolor of knuckles, I think I missed some though....
Disregard that thing in the corner...i didn't edit that out yet...that's just the person who ripped the original knuckles sprites.

You do realize that unless these are public access or permission is given to edit them that you are breaking copyright law? And by editting that thing in the corner out that you are automatically breaking copyright law.

No, but I do realize permission when it's granted by other people to use their sprites and edit the sheet how I please. *glare* I was given permissino to do whatever I wish to the sprite sheet. Thus, I am perfectly capable of changing the sheet however I wish. Oh yeah, and the editting thing was a joke.

Yes I realize that, but while recoloring it isn't illegal because it is semi public domain removing that notice completely would be. It is violation of intellectual property and it's pretty mean to take someone's hard work then edit it and not give them a hint of credit.

Dude. Did you notice the thing down in the corner? That would be a little thing known as giving credit! He's been given credit, and I said he ripped the original knuckles sprites...That's slightly more than a hint.

Having actually taken a class on copyright law (a really boring class), I can say with certainty that removing the notice on the sheet would be perfectly legal. The reason is that, while it's nice to credit the guy who ripped the sprites, you don't have to. He wasn't the one who made the sprites, he simply ripped them from a game and didn't edit them or anything. The sprites are property of Sega and the person who ripped them has absolutely no claim of ownership whatsoever. If someone rips unedited sprites from a game people can do anything they want with them and don't need to credit the person who ripped the sprites unless they want to. Sega is the only entity with any claim on those sprites but, thanks to the Fair Use of Copyright act, you are allowed to use them and edit them for non-commercial stuff like web-comics.

Dually noted, thanks Josiah! And now....
Bonkers! I've been using bonkers as my sprite alter-ego in middleground forums....Bonkers as my alter ego...I sense something wrong there.
The portal thing around bonkers is me having a bit of fun with portals...something I plan to use in my comic, if I ever make a comic.... Anyways, yeah. here's inspector bonkers.

*Use sprite request 1*
I would like a sprite of BA Shauni please.

Reference here: <a href='http://forum.tfsnewworld.com/album_show ... =&pic_id=9' target='_blank'>http://forum.tfsnewworld.com/album_show ... ic_id=9</a>

Might require use of Shauni sprites.

I honestly can't believe I'm saying this....but I give up. I can't do it, Shadowman, and I apologize. Might there be something easier you wish to ask of me?

Topic Revival! You get to see more of my bad sprites. Offer still stands, Shadowman.

Here's a trainer sprite I did for me. Kinda took the initiative from Mash.

And no, I haven't figured out how to do the name.
