<span style='color:brown'>"Hey Professor, is my pok?dex ready yet?" *A young man stepped into the lab. He was average height, and rather thin with brown hair and green eyes.*</span>

"Oh, you're Glenn right?" *Professor Krane turned away from the other trainers for a moment.* "It's ready. I finished setting it up about three minues after you left. You should have just waited here."

<span style='color:brown'>"But waiting is so boring..." *Glenn complained.* "Besides, I wanted to introduce my new evee to staryu." *He took the pok?dex, glanced at it briefly, then noticed Silver and Neo.* "Hey, are you guys new trainers too?"</span>

Shauni's bus arrived at the depo and she boarded. it wasn't a long ride though the void they called the desert until she reached her destination.

She disembarked and headed for the lab, following a map she had downloaded from a computer.

Before long she stood before the doors of the lab.

After a moments hesitation she entered...and was greeted by a many number of trainers standing around.

Shauni sighed. She was normally quite friendly, but she just wanted in and out.

She sighed and stood in what she assumed was the queue as the trainers seemed to be stood in a line.

<span style='color:red'>A young man of about 18 walked into the lab and strode past the number of new trainers toward Prof. Krane.</span> The Professor glanced at the cowboy-ish youth and grinned.

"I'd offer you a new pokemon, Kain, but it seems you're already well taken care of."

<span style='color:red'>"I know," Kain patted the four small orbs on his belt, then went straight to buisness, "I'm actually here to get me an upgrade for my Pokedex. I've really been out of the loop since I took up that freelance detective gig about five years back."</span>

"Going after your father's case, again?" Prof. Krane asked, fiddling with a couple machines.

<span style='color:red'>"In a word, yes." Kain strightened out his black overcoat and walked over, "I'm thinking all the new trainers will warm up the ol' trail of clues."</span>

"Good to hear." the professor smiled, wiping his hands, "I'll update and upgrade your Pokedex after I test this new Pokemon teleportation system."

<span style='color:red'>"Need any help?"</span>

"Why... yes! You won't mind being the first to try out the system, would you?"

<span style='color:red'>"I'll ask the team if they won't mind." Kain let out his Pokemon. A blood red charizard, a sleepy-looking Blastoise, a glowing Venusaur, and rather hyper looking Pidgeot stretched and yawned after getting released then gave their attention to their trainer, "Hey, boys."

"Rar."
"Brast."
"Goor."
"Raawwk."

FireKing rested his draconic head on Kain's shoulder as Kain as ked his team if they wouldn't mind testing Prof. Krane's new invention. Being creatures of adventure, Kain's pokemon seemed excited at the prospect.

It wasn't long before Kain had placed his pokemon in one teleporter</span>... then disaster.

-------

"I swear! It was working fine before it blew a gasket this morning!" Professor Krane and a number of his assistants were scurrying about fixing parts of the lab and cleaning up the mess. "My apologies, Kain."

<span style='color:red'>Kain was forgiving, but he was still in a bit of shock. His four pokemon were now in their most basic forms.

"Chaaar..."

"It's okay, King... It's not going to be forever, guys."</span>

"And I swear on it! I want to know why or how this happened." Prof. Krane announced, "Kain, may you leave a couple of your pokemon here so I may study what affect the de-evolution may have had on them, and see if it is possible to reverse the damage?"

<span style='color:red'>"That'll be hard to chose, Professor." Kain replied, "FireKing, Admiral, SolarSaur, and MachWing are the only pokemon I have..."

The Bulbasaur and the Pidgey hopped up and down.

"You two are volunteering?"

The two pokemon nodded. Kain patted the two on the head, "Okay then, it's settled. You guys are staying while FireKing and Admiral come with me... You guys will be missed."

"Saur..."
"Gee."</span>

"With that done, here's your new PokeDex, Kain... and while you're hunting clues, may I suggest you also take part in the Tournament?"

<span style='color:red'>Kain pocketed the Pokedex and gave Prf. Krane an odd look, "Why would you think I'd be interested in that?"</span>

"You're looking into your father's case to see if he got murdered." Prof. Krane explained, "And you are aware murderers don't like knowing they are being hunted. You'll need a cover."

<span style='color:red'>"Ohhhh..." Kain called back FireKing and Admiral, "Seeing as I'll be poking around in all the major training centers all over Orre, being a tournament-bound trainer is perfect for what I'm really doing."</span>

The Professor nodded.

<span style='color:red'>"I guess I'll get started then. First, I'll talk with some of the other trainers here, then I'll go. After I get on the road, I'll call on a regular basis to check in on SolarSaur and MachWing."</span>

"Fine by me, Kain... and good luck."

Stevenson was walking home from kaminkos house-he heard a genius lived there but was sadly proved wrong by the boy at the door. Honestly. How stupid can you be? But before he went home, he decided it was about time that he got a pokedex. He walked into Krane's lab, and was suprised by the EXTREME MULTITUDE of trainers in there. ((Ok, now that I'm DONE with random CAPITILIZATION....)) "Um, I'm here for a-"

"Marreep?" interrupted proffessor Krane.

<span style='color:orange'>"No, I wanted a-"</span>
"Hoppip? You want a hoppip right?"

<span style='color:orange'>"Uh, no, actually I just want a-"</span>

"Fine, I'll give you a horsea. For free even!"

<span style='color:orange'>"No, I do like horseas, but I just want a-" Stevenson waited fro the proffessor to interrupt. "Pokedex."</span>"
((Shame I already have a water type, I love horseas evolutionary line.))

((Wow, lotsa posts while I'm at school...

And yes, Mandi, that's fine. I was kinda surprised myself to see that no one'd taken Blue...))

"Oh, yes, and you there-" Professor Krane called to Neo, "You wanted to know if we were giving out Eevees, correct? I don't give them to everyone, but-"

"Yes you do!" shouted one of his aids, who was still hard at work on cleaning the mess made by the teleporter.

"...Uh... he doesn't know what he's talking about. I feel bad about making you wait so long, so you're more than welcome to an Evee!"

<span style='color:gray'>"Yeah, I just got my Pokedex about... four seconds before you walked in." Silver told Glenn, who had asked if they were new trainers. "And judging by the fact that he asked for a Pokedex, I'm guessing that guy is too... and him." he added, referring to Neo and Stevenson. The Pidgey on his shoulder looked around the room at all the trainers coming in; there quite a few of them today, and while a lot of people were interested in becoming Orre trainers, it WAS kind of strange that they were all there at the same time.</span>
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

(So much going on again when I was locked out x_x)

<span style='color:pink'>Opal stood outside the lab. She already got her poxedex and everything for her journey. It was semi hard because Prof. Krane was more interested in giving away pokemon....and she had to give in when he offered a Horsea because it was blue.

"Come on out Mudkip." She sent out her Mudkip. "This is our newest member..." She also sent out a Horsea. Mudkip gave her an odd look. "Hey! He was pressuring me! And I....I didn't want it to be lonely anymore?" Mudkip sighed. "Ok, ok, ok....it was blue. That's why I took it." Opal gave into her Mudkip. Mudkip gave a small 'kip' laugh before Opal returned both her pokemon.

"Now.....where to go now..."</span>

Shauni silently stood in the que. She eventually made her way towards the Professor and took a pokedex he was about to give to someone else, and picked up a pokeball, not really caring what was in it. Before the professor could protest, she had gone.
She walked past Opal who stood outside and glanced at the ball in her hand. She threw it to the ground and a plump looking Eevee burst out of the ball.

<span style='color:purple'>"Ewwwe" </span>is squeaked at her
Her sombre face managed a smile and she knelt down and patted the pokemon on the head "<span style='color:purple'>Your a girl I see"</span>
She tickled its ear <span style='color:purple'>"I'll call you Yuri. That seems like a nice name"</span>

Neo looked at the pokeball that now contained his new Eevee. Now came a big decision for Neo, what to evolve it into. He could do the simplest way and just let it evolve on it's own into it's dark or psycic type or actually train it at certion times of day. But first thing to do is get to know it and it to know him. Neo tossed his ball. In a flash of light a rather strong looking Eevee appeared with an "Ewwwe" when it fully appeared.

<span style='color:green'>"Hey there, I'm your new trainer. How are you?"</span>

The Eevee looked at Neo for a moment and walked closer to him. Soon Neo was petting his new pokemon.

*Glenn had already grown tired of hanging around the lab and, as he had already spent some time with his new pok?mon before returning for the pok?dex he was ready to head out.*

<span style='color:brown'>"So, where should I go now?" *He asked Professor Krane.*</span>

"Well, sooner or later you'll want to go to the different gyms but before that you should probably stock up on supplies at the Pok?mart and try battling some other trainers to strengthen your pok?mon."

<span style='color:brown'>"Sounds good! Bye!" *Glenn left the lab, thinking that he would head to the pok?mart.*</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"Wow. Lotta people here..." Silver said to himself.</span>

"I'll say... hey, would you mind telling that girl that just left to come back in here? The Pokedex she just swiped isn't gonna do her any good. In fact, it'll probably get her arrested. I programmed it with someone else's name already..." Professor Krane added, even though he knew Silver wasn't talking to him.

<span style='color:gray'>"Ok..." Silver replied, walking out the doors to see that she hadn't gone far yet. "Hey, you there! With the Eevee! Professor Krane needs you back inside... You can't just grab a Pokedex and expect it to let you into a Reservation, y'know." he explained to Shauni.</span>

<span style='color:pink'>Opal stared vagualy at the trainers and their Eevees.
"How can anyone like thos despie pokemon?" She shuddered, thinking where to go and how.
"I could travel by foot...but that would take forever...isn't there a bus or something?" She asked to whom was listening. For company, she sent out Mudkip out again.</span>

<span style='color:orange'>"Uh, I don't know. I just ride my bike from my house in agate to here. It's not that long."</span> Stevenson shrugged.

<span style='color:red'>"Excuse me, miss?" Kain tapped Shauni on the shoulder. He barely dodged getting slapped.

<span style='color:purple'>"My name is Shauni..." she mumbled.</span>

"I'm Kain Highwind... Um... Pleased to meet you..."

<span style='color:purple'>The guy seemed friendly enough and Shauni calmed down a bit.</span>

"The professor's calling you, Shauni." Kain said afer a long pause, "He said that your pokedex needs to be programmed first before you just run off."

<span style='color:purple'>"Why's that?"</span>

"For one thing, it might land you in jail for identity theft..." Kain looked a little nervous saying this.

<span style='color:purple'>There was another pause before Shauni got up and walked back toward the lab</span> with Kain following her closely.

<span style='color:pink'>"... How can anyone like those despicable Pokemon?" he heard a girl hiss in distaste at an Eevee as the two passed by.</span>

It was at that point there was another crash in the lab and a rather frightened little critter ran through the line of trainers and leaped onto Kain.

"HEY! What the-?" Kain looked at the long-eard ball of fluff. It was plenty runty... <He is cute, though...> "What am I thinking?! You're not mine, kritter... And I already have two pokemon with me..."

"Eeee weee...." the puffball eevee whined and wagged his fox fluff tail.

Kain sighed. He liked Eevees, but this pokemon did not belong to him... "I'll talk to Prof. Krane about you, kritter. Right now, I gotta catch up to that girl..." And Kain took off after Shauni with the puffball under his arm.</span>

((Simeon? We probably shouldn't be contolling other people's characters yet... the roleplay just started, and since a few people siad they'd play out their characters personality, we shouldn't be controlling them so we don't mess up their plans... I mean, you didn't do anything, really, just giving you a warning. Though I'm sure Shauni would've heard what Silver said... And Opal said 'despie' not 'despicable' *Poked for being technical*))

<span style='color:gray'>"You got me." Silver said after Opal's Evee comment, since he seemed to be heading in the same direction, "They're so cute and friendly and popular... it's disgusting. And no, there isn't a bus out here yet; not many people came out here before the Pokedexes and Pokemon provided a reason to, so there aren't any roads that would be suitable for a bus. Gateon Port's not too far a walk, though, and they've got busses from there running all the way to Lapis, stopping in Pyrite, Phenac, and Libra." he finished. Twister, his Pidgey, looked down at the Mudkip, since it was really the only other non-Eevee Pokemon out of its Pokeball at the time.</span>

<span style='color:pink'>Opal stared at Kain's Eevee and hiss a little. Mudkip gave her an odd look.
"Well...this sounds fun. Excersise. Whee...." She sighed, twisting her hair around her finger.
"Say...wanna have a quick battle?" She asked. "It's been a while since I battled Mudkip." She asked, popping in a piece of gum into her mouth.</span>
