Shauni began to clear some of the larger rubble from the alcove they had decided to make camp at.
After a while she had made an eve surface
"We need something soft to lye on while we sleep. Lets get some undergrowth or hay or something. We also need...facilities and possible a cooking area.

*Josiah decided to take the intiative.* "Ok, Shauni you and Matrix Kirby are in charge of beds. Simeon and I will find some rocks to build a spot for the fire. Hopefully by the time we're done Ibun and PM will be back with the wood."

Simeon was out of the bushes with a whole bunch of berries in a makeshift basket made of twisted twigs. Setting the basket down, Simeon began to chip away at the hillside with some primitive tools he fashioned out of boredom. He was making what looked like a stone ladder up the sheer and sloping face of the cliff. With each chunk of rock Simeon worried away, he flew back down and added the rock chunk to the firepit.

Josiah looked up as the lion morph flew back up. "Simeon? What on earth are you up to?"

"Making it easier to get to the hot spring." was Simeon's reply.

"Hot spring?"

Simeon pointed out the trickle of water running down the cliffside next to the cave, "When I went to find more fresh water, I found a hot spring near the source of that little trickle. I'm hoping it might prove to be of good use in the future."

The stone ladder didn't go up so high, as Simeon had found a sort of ramp in the cliffside that served as a path leading all the way to the top of the cliff and into the forest. That would make the trip much safer for those who could not fly or had some mode of vertical transport. Simeon then set about marking a path to the hot-spring with indescreet symbols in tthe trees, hoping he would be able to show the spring to his team a little later.

Arriving at the spring, Simeon found another hollow branch and filled it with some more of the water from the trickling spring nearby. He glanced around and sniffed the air. Fur on end, Simeon stood still for a while, waiting and sensing. It was uncomfortable for a hunter to be the prey...

Sensing the danger had passed, Simeon flew back down to camp.

Ibun and PM had returned, both shouldering large bundles of firewood. Both players looked a little harried.

Simeon set down the hollow branch of water back down. "Don't tell me, guys. You also felt like you were being watched..."

(Shauni, from now on I won't hold a challenge over the weekends. That was information I've could of used ^^'
I accidently sorta messed up in the challenge...I rushed myself e_e' So that was just a reward challenge. The real challenge comes tomorrow!)

Shauni nodded and headed of into a near jungle, pulling dry grass and fallen palm leaves as she went, anything she thought would be good bedding

*Josiah, meanwhile, had finished fashioning a fireplace of sorts. Or, more accurately, a sort of bonfire pit. It was positioned under a natural hole in the ceiling, which should allow the smoke to escape instead of filling the area.*

"Something was watching you?" *He frowned as he began to set up the wood in the firepit.* "The camera crew?" *Shauni chuckled, Simeon just looked at him.* "Well, anyway, we can't assume that it's dangerous, whatever it is. Although we should probably sleep in shifts. If there is something out there, I'd rather not be caught off guard.*

MK was following Shauni, keeping on the look out for anything suspicious, and anything fluffy.

He rubbed his chin thinkingly. He shrugged, and helped Shauni in picking up the random things.

After a while, MK and Shauni returned with hands full of downy undergrowth
"This should be enough for now. We'll keep an eye open for anything we can use"
She placed the stuff on the ground
"Anyone need any help? Two hands right here ready to go!"

There was the familiar snap of branches up in the trees. Looking up, the team noted that Simeon had succumbed to another of his random crafting urges.

"Lookout below!" Simeon shouted. A few well-fashioned spears fell from the branches and landed in the soil below, the stone spearheads buried upon impact. "Yep. They work!"

Simeon flew down and picked up the heaviest looking spear. Strapped to his back was a bandolier and quiver made of twisted bark, and the quiver was holding many small, thin javelins and harpoons, each shaft no longer than a meter.

"I'm going hunting." Simeon explained, pulling out one of his javelins to inspect it before placing it back in the quiver, "Some meat and hides would certainly be useful for us... and I certainly won't mind if I have a hunting partner or two to join me."

Shauni smiled and waved her hand like an idiot
"I'll help you. I'm not much for chasing game but I can construct a few traps along the way."
She placed her load on the floor and walked towards Simeon, taking one of the spears
"but I gotta warn you...I throw like a girl" she smiled at her own joke despite its lameness

Simeon chuckled.

"Very well, but the spear isn't for throwing... unless you need it be. It's there just in case the prey decides to nail you." Simeon showed her one of the short javeilns from his quiver. "These are a different story."

Simeon began to make a path into the woods, "I prefer the chase; it's in my blood, but if you prefer traps, so much the better, Lady Shauni-sama. Both need some level of stealth, and you might do just fine with your method."

At that moment, Simeon caught wind of something. "The prey is on the move," he whispered, and vanished into the underbrush...

Shauni headed towards the pray but to Simeon's right
"I'll heard it towards you by making some noises to its right. I'll flush it out and you can capture it"
She glanced life and right then spotted something.

She rushed right, and as suspected, the creature ran left towards Simeon

Soon Celebifly flew down to Team Sapphire's camp.

"And what do you mean Oekaki is hard Simeon? Where ever you are....oh yeah, by the way, it's raining." Celebifly winked as it begain to rain in buckets.

Shauni left the creature to Simeon to capture

Shauni looked up at the raining sky and cursed the heavens

"Dam you Celebifly!" She took shelter under a tree and began to make a simple loop trap while she waited for Simeon to capture the creature

*Meanwhile, back at the cave, Josiah had a nice fire going.* "It's a good thing you got all this wood before the rain started." *He looked over at the others.* "Now help me cook these fish that Simeon caught earlier."
