*Meanwhile Josiah was whiling away the time by battling various passengers and sailers aboard the ship. So far he'd already won five battles and was getting quite a lot of mon. Although he was using all his monsters, he was focusing particularily on Ray which really needed the experience. It's shine attack continued to be useless but at least Sparkling Beam worked well. Eventually he ran out of opponenets and leaned against the railing, looking out over the ocean.*

"Hey Josiah," *Shauni approached him, "beat them all already?"

"Yep. And Ray even learned a new move." *He held up Ray's card, showing that it knew the Ray Striker attack.*

"Something on your mind?" *She frowned.

"Ah, nothing really... It just seems like I'm the only one here without some sorta special powers." *At Shauni's puzzled look he continued.* "Jeff can mess with th code some how and do that super attack, you're whatever it is you are, and Silver's monsters are growing up extra fast..."

"Hey, don't let it get you down." *Shauni smiled.* "Even if you don't have powers you don't really need them. You've never lost a battle, you've got good monsters, and you even managed to catch Mogal. You're really good at this."

"Thanks." *Josiah grinned.* "You're right." *Suddenly the boat began to pitch violently as the ocean suddenly changed from calm to turbulent as waves crashed against the boat.* "What the heck is going on?!?" *Then a large form began to rise out of the water. Jeff, Silver, Gold, and Anne ran over to join Josiah and Shauni as they watched the thing emerge...*

Current Monsters:
Zapz - 2/3 - Electric --> Attacks: Flash Zapper, Flash Tackle, Multi Striker, Voltage
Shadow Wing - 2/3 - Dark --> Attacks: Shadow Bind, Claw Rake, Night Ray, Shadow Shroud, Dark Strike
Mogal - 2/3 - Ground --> Attacks: Root Strike, Leaf Rain, Upheaval, Rock Crusher
Ray - 1/3 - Light --> Attacks: Shine, Sparkling Beam, Ray Striker

It looked like a cross between Lugia, Gyarados and Tentecruel- It had the body of Lugia, the face and color of Gyarados and instead of purple things on its back there were tentacles. That and it was about 10x bigger.

"Holy Fudge Crackers, What's that?!"

"A Sea Monster of some kind..."

"Thank you captain obvious. I mean, how do we get rid of it?"

"I guess we have to attack it..."

*The dream passes before Jeff's eyes.*

"Wait! There's something different about this monster. Look it's not attacking and I don't think it's going to."
"What do you mean? How do you know all this?"
"Just trust me will you?"
"He's right silver it will not attack us."
"Unless I tell him to."
"ANNA???"
"Oh silly boy. I was never really Anna. I'm the water 'chosen' and this is where you will meet your demise!"
"AAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH! Not again... GUYS GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!
"But..."
"NOW!!!"
"There's now way in hell I'm going to leave you here alone! Go Toshi!"
*After seeing this Jeff calms down and regains control of his mind.*
"Right. Thank you Silver. Let's get this baby started! Go Yuki!"
"Right. Go Shadow Wing!"
"Oh how quaint. Alright let's dance! Luyaru use Tsuper Tsunami."
"Protect us with ice shield Yuki!"
"Increase your power with fire charge!"
"Paralyze it with shadow bind."
*20 minutes later.*
"Grrr... That's it no more miss nice chosen. Finish off toshi with... EROSION!!!"
"A legendary attack? Yuki protect toshi at all costs!!!"
*Toshi recieves the blunt of the attack an she is destroyed.*
"Jeff... Thank you. I'll not waste this opportunity. Okay this one is for yuki! Use FLAME WING!"
*Toshi's wings begin to glow with the power of 1000 suns. He unleashes the attack and it slices Luyaru in half, destroying it. As before the 'chosen' is killed by an unseen force. The next day yuki is put in a lifeboat and given a proper sendoff. Jeff becomes overwhelm with tears.*
"Hey look bobble has evolved. It's now a water/ice type. It also has learned two of yuki's moves. I guess she'll always be with you. I'm... I'm sorry that it came to this. Maybe if I just tried harder."
*sigh* "Don't blame yourself silver. She was happy until the end. At least I know she can rest in peace. I'm just worried about the other 5 'chosen'."

"It's times like these I wish this was a closer copy of Pokemon... Pokemon hardly ever die, it's nearly impossible to kill one. And since you only have one monster now... do you want Hueno? It hardly seems fair that I have four and you have one, especially considering you gave up one of yours for mine."

"WAAA!!! POOR YUKI! So brave... WAAA!!! She only got to walk this game for a short time, but I'll never forget her!! WAAAA!!!!"

"Ha ha ha. :lol: You guys crack me up. It's like you're brothers. Hey, does anyone know where David and Shauni are? I haven't seen them in a while. Hmm..."

((If only you knew... In a sense, they are brothers, just not for this roleplay...))

"Brothers? I'm glad he's not, then I'd have to put up with him on a regular basis!"

"Well, when you think about it... you're Silver, and I'm Gold. It makes sense, doesn't it?"

"Unfortunately, yes..."

"Mwahaha! I have a point! Huh? Look! Land ho! Heh, I always wanted to say that."

"But you're right, Shauni and David haven't said anything for a while. You don't think...?"

Over the horizon land could be seen. A large forest to the east, and to the west a desert wasteland. One large mountain could be identified from behind each area.

"Those must be the Twin Mountains. I read about them back in Vallhalo. It is said that in ancient times two great cities stood at the foot of the mountains. After awhile each city wanted to control the other mountain. I'm sure you can guess what happened next. Now all that stands there is rubble."

Then, a series of Bibble came out of the water and flew over the ship, landing in the water on the other side. When the sun hit them it gave them the appearance of a rainbow.

"Not so fast. I'm going with you. You're not avoiding this subject."
"I don't want to talk about it Silver."
"TOO BAD! I'm not going to sit here and let you 'reflect' in your room. You're going to talk about it NOW!"
"SHUT UP!"
*Jeff punches silver in the face. They begin to brawl. After 5 minutes Josiah and Gold were able to seperate them.*
"Calm down Jeff, what the hell is wrong with you?"
"You two will never understand. I trusted her! I LOVED HER!!!"
"How can we understand if you don't talk to us? C'mon man. It's me, it's Silver. Talk to me man."
*Jeff spits some blood out the side of his mouth.*
"F***! I hate this! I F****** HATE THIS!!!"
"It's okay. We're here for you. We'll always be here for you. You can't do this alone. Let us help you."
"..."
"Look just get some rest. We'll be landing tomorrow."
"I'm... I'm sorry silver... You were just trying to help me. I guess that's just my anti-social nature acting up."
"I forgive you. I know you didn't mean to hit me. You just weren't thinking straight. C'mon let's go inside and get some rest."
*They go inside the ship's cabin.*

The next day...

"Looks like we're here."

*a girl walks up*

"It's... Crystal!"

"Hey Gold, how are your monsters?"

"Uh... well..."

"Haven't been having much luck? Oh well, check out my monsters!" *Shows cards containing Ummie, Tashi and Zappo*

"Cool! Hey, is that the evolved form of Ommie?"

"Yeah, Ummie evolved from an Ommie, I just caught Tashi in the desert and Zappo evolved from a Zippo."

"Silver here has an Ommie, but it doesn't want to evolve."

"Well, this is what it'll look like when it does evolve..." *releases a blue triceratops like monster* "My first monster was an Ommie, they're pretty strong, and generally easy to control. That's why they're so popular around here"

"Well, it looks like this is where I say good-bye. Thanks for your help, I bid you farewell and good luck!"

*They walk off, Gold telling Crystal about who they were*

((Oh yeah, and for this post only, blue is for Crystal talking since every color is taken and that one makes the most sense))

"Well, that sure was an interesting day..." *Josiah, David, and Shauni sat on the deck of the ship, watching the sun set beneath the waves.* "So Shauni, any idea what these chosen are? You are the game expert around here."

"I don't know much." *She sighed heavily.* "They're bosses of some sort, there's one for each element and they all serve under someone else... Crap, I get the feeling I'm forgetting something important... Something about a connection between the elements and what they represent..."

"It'll come to you." *David yawned. "At least I hope so."

"Well, at least we got some battle experience out of all this." *Josiah attempted to lighten the mood.* "I think some of my monsters are getting ready to grow again." *He froze.* "Wait! Shauni, I thought you said that nothing could die in this game because of the rating."

"Yeah, that's right." *She replied instantly.* "This is an E rated game so..." *Her eyes widened as she recalled their previous battle.* "But, but, that wasn't supposed to..."

*It was a long moment before Josiah voiced her fears.* "If the monsters can be killed then, then maybe we can too..."
