"Heh, I've been saving the best for last! The only eligible monster that I haven't used in this tournament yet... my first and strongest by far, TASHI!" The winged ornage snake emerged from its card, flapping its wings and slithering eagerly as this was its first chance to battle in the whole tournament. Silver had decided to use each of his monsters once before the tournament actually started; all of them, that is, except Manja, who would have provided an unfair advantage. (Really, he already had, though; Silver's monsters got powerful quickly because they trained against the god-leveled monster)

"Tashi, eh? And now for something even more predictable..." Using her teleportation necklace, Virgo appeared by Josiah and took her place on the battlefield.

"Phht, figures you'd bring your girlfriend out here. Don't expect us to go easy! You're playing with fire, so prepare to get burned! Tashi, Meteor!" Silver's most loyal and well-balanced monster summoned a large, flaming rock from the sky that flew towards Virgo at an incredible velocity. No doubt she'd dodge or defend herself against it; Virgo was easily Josiah's strongest monster. If you wonder why for even a second... you'll never be a shipper. Of course, Tashi was not one to be taken lightly, either; its powerful wings allowed for great speed, the tough scales that covered its snake-like body provided above-average defenses, and nothing could compare to the pure power of his firey attacks. This was going to be one heck of a fight.

*Josiah had figured that Silver would save Tashi for last, especially since god monsters weren't allowed in the tournament, and had been planning to save Virgo until this battle. However, Shauni strange behavior had forced him to modify his plan a bit.*

*He looked up at the oncoming meteor.* "She could dodge it but, since this is the final battle of the tournament and all, let's give the audience something a bit more flashy. Hey Virgo, try a Heavenly Spear!"

"Right!" *She gave Josiah a playfull salute as her wings materialized then shot up into the air and slammed her spear in the flaming ball of rock, which exploded, sending red hot pebbles raining down on the battlefield.*

"Let's turn things to our advantage Tashi! Use Spreading Fire!" *While Virgo was finishing off the meteor, Silver quickly began his real plan. The field was still damp from their last battle so it wouldn't catch on fire immediatly but with Spreading Flame it was only a matter of time.*

"Virgo, stay airborn!" *Josiah called, he had half expected the move, Tashi was a fire type after all. Fortunately, a burning field shouldn't make too much difference in an arial battle.* "Now, let's make this first attack a good one. Mecha Overdrive!!!"

Neo, Tsuekasa, and Metamorph went back to the VIP seats just intime for the next fight. Silver vs. Josiah. Neo was very intresting in the battle. For one thing he wanted to study Silver's fighting style for the next time he and Silver would battle eachother.

"This will be one heck of a fight." said Neo to himself. "I know Silver is good and I need to see how he battles. I will not loose again." Neo was abit caught off with the tone the last part came out. He knew he must control the darkness that he somehow has. He didn't really notice it til after this battle with Silver. He now knows he must not let it come out.

"Tashi! Cancel it out with Omega Inferno!" Tashi unleashed his legendary attack as well, the two attacks countering each other so both dealt very little damage - compared to what a legendary attack would normally do, at least.

"Even again... Virgo, Heavenly Spear!"

"Try to avoid them and use Toxic Bite!" Dipping and diving through the air, avoiding Virgo's Light attack as best as it could, although still being struck by the attack, Tashi flew forward until reaching his Target and injecting the poison with a powerful bite.

"Poison..." *Josiah saw Virgo wince as she was bitten.* "Oh, you'll pay for that."

*Meanwhile, Virgo had knocked Tashi back with her spear and the two were floating about ten yards apart. A trickle of blood was flowing down her arm from the bite but she ignored it, focusing only on her opponent. Down below them, the fire was slowly spreading across the field.*

"Virgo, use Shadows of Heaven!" *Virgo raised her hands to the sky, mumbling something under her breath, as the dark red tinged appeared, blocking out the sunlight.*

"Tashi, dodge them!" *Siler cried as powerful beams of light energy began to fall from the sky.*

*Josiah, meanwhile, had turned his attention back to Virgo. Shadows of Heaven struck so many times that it would be impossible for Tashi to dodge them all, but right now he had something else to take care of.* "Virgo..." *He used her card to give her a telepathic order.* "Now, while Silver and Tashi are distracted, use Angel's Restoration to heal yourself. It should get rid of the poison as well." *She nodded and quickly performed the healing move without interruption.*

Tashi carefully dodged most of the blasts that came his way, although occasionally he would take some damage. Not nearly as often as he'd slide out of the way just in time, though, and the vast majority of the powerful attack missed the beast completely. "Now, use Omega Inferno again!" Tashi once again used his legendary attack, hoping to make up for any damage Virgo had recovered with her healing move.

Shauni stood up and left the arena.

Yomikko watched her leave but turned her attention back to the match.

Shauni found herself alone outside the arena.
"I better get back before Shauni gets mad....."

With that she spread her wings and flew away...towards Onett.

Elder Codo landed just after Shauni had left.
His Dragon monster had taken forever to make the crossing to the island but he was finally here.
He headed for the arena to warn the other about Shauni, not knowing she had just left.

"Mecha Overdrive!" *Virgo used her own legendary attack to counter Tashi's, canceling out most of the damage.* "Now use Divine Gift!" *Virgo began to glow as the move raised her attack and defense.*

*However, Silver wasn't going to just let her float there and power up.* "Use Meteor Tashi! Let's knock her down into the fire!"

"Look out!" *Virgo didn't have time to dodge the meteor but she did see it coming in time to prepare, and therefore managed to avoid being knocked into the inferno that had claimed the entire ground of the battle field. Fortunately, Divine Gift helped reduce the damage a little.* "Good job! Now, let's give them a barrage of Heavenly Spear!

"I hate to bring this move out so early, but it's better than just dodging all his attacks... Blazing Soul!" Silver commanded. Tashi's form changed into one that resembled the snake, but made completely of fire. The Heavenly Spear attack did next to no damage as anything that went near the flaming Snake disintegrated into ash almost instantly. Tashi charged at blinding speed towards Virgo, going right through the storm of spears without taking damage. Well, I suppose that's not entirely true; it required a lot of energy to stay in the fire form. It was worth it, though, as Tashi flew right into Virgo, doing heavy damage and badly burning the more-human-than-monster monster. Tashi emerged on the other side, also singed, but better off than Virgo... for the moment.

"Virgo! Shadows of Heaven!"

"Aw, Fudge Crackers... try to dodge it!" The powerful blasts rained from the sky, Tashi having a hard time dodging them as he hadn't recovered from his last attack yet. He couldn't move as fast as usual, and quite a few of the blasts hit him full force. "Try Omega Inferno again!"

*The battle was nearing an end, that much was obvious. Both Tashi and Virgo were pretty weak. However, given time Tashi would likely recover most of its speed but those burns Virgo had taken would likely slower her down for the rest of the battle, unless... Josiah watched as Tashi launched another legendary attack.* "This is gonna be risky but... Virgo, you'll have to trust me on this one! Use Angel's Restoration now!!!"

*Although confused, Virgo followed orders and had just enough time to finish the healing move before she was struck by Omega Inferno. Although she took the full force of the legendary attack, it basically just canceled out the damage she had just healed, leaving her about the same as she'd been before the attack, but with one exception. Her burns were healed.*

"Perfect." *Josiah was grinning.* "I knew Silver would never let me have another opening to heal but I bet he wasn't expecting that. Virgo, hurrey, before Tashi finishs recovering! Mecha Overdrive!!!"

"Omega Inferno's getting old... Tashi, shield yourself with Meteor!" Instead of cancelling out the legendary attack with one of his own, Tashi summoned a Powerful Meteor to take the blunt of the attack for him, using it almost like a Substitue attack from Pokemon. Except there was one little difference... small flaming chunks of rock flew in all directions when this Substitute broke, pelting both monsters but not doing much damage to either.

((I'm not entirely sure what Shauni has planned with Codo but you'd better wait till the tournament ends.))

"I think it's about time we ended this. Virgo, let's go for a combo! Start with Shadows of Heaven!"

"That attack again? You running out of ideas already?"

"That's only the first part." *Josiah replied as the beams began to rain down on the battlefield.* "Now, while Tashi is dodging hit it with Heavenly Spear!" *This was a slightly risky move, as it put Virgo in danger of being hit with her own attack, but she was a light type so she did have some natural resistance against light attacks.

"Oh, Fudge Crackers! There's no way he'll be able to dodge everything... but I can work around that. Use one last Blazing Soul!" Tashi's form once again changed into that of complete flames. The light attacks desintegrated as they approached fiery figure. Tashi charged at Virgo, who was unable to get out of the way in time as she had just launched two powerful attacks, in one last attempt to end the battle in his favor...

((The recoil damage from Blazing Soul will finish Tashi off. The only reason I didn't type more is because I can't exactly determine what happens to Virgo here. Now, Blazing Soul is an extremely powerful attack, so I really don't think she'll be surviving it, but meh...))

*Josiah watched as Tashi used Blazing Soul and charged at Virgo. This was bad. Tashi looked as if the backlash from Blazing Soul might finish it off but Virgo wasn't in the best shape either and if she took the hit this could end in a double KO. Unfortunately, he last attack had left her so close to Silver's monster that not only was there no time for her to fly out of the way, there was also no time for Josiah to give her an order, he could only watch.*

"Yeah, come on Tashi! What the?!?"

*Virgo suddenly plummeted towards the ground even though she hadn't been hit yet. Tashi, unable to change his course fast enough, continued past her.*

*Josiah suddenly grinned, realizing what had happened. Since her wings could be summoned at retracted at will, she had simply let them disapear letting gravity take over. She struck the ground hard but managed to climb back to her feet. Fortunately, the fire on the ground had pretty much burned itself out by now, although some areas were still smoldering.*

*Meanwhile, Tashi reverted to normal but then it too fell to the ground. However, unlike Virgo, it didn't get up and returned to its card.* "Fudge crackers..."

"Yeah! We did it!" *Josiah cheered.* "Virgo, that was brilliant!"

"I learned from the best." *She teleported next to him and smiled weakly as she used Angel's Restoration to restore some of her strength.*
