<span style='color:blue'> Louanne was seated on the grass near Joshua, wiping her katana off with some grass. "Someone missing?" she asked him, having accidentally tapped into his train of thought with MindReader. She didn't know exactly what he was thinking since it wasn't on purpose, but she got a vague idea of it.</span>

[Simeon]

<span style='color:teal'>Joshua nodded, "Silver--"

The Lab exploded before Joshua could finish...</span>

After Trik fell asleep, Simeon said a quick prayer and walked out into the empty foyer... He would have gone to his secret place in the catacombs, but he was waiting for his son to return...

Ziheu and Kayla appeared with 20 frightened Elementals. Simeon assured the Elementals that they were safe, and Lance proceeded to assign the new Havenites rooms in the catacombs.

Simeon told Ziheu and Kayla to go back and get the rest of the team, as soon the three Teleporters Joshua had taken with him teleported in with the team and the supplies... and minus Rich and Silver...

<span style='color:teal'>"Let me guess... Silver got lost again..."</span>

The group nodded.

<span style='color:teal'>Simeon shook his head, "It's his destiny. He'll return... He knows how to get back here now..." Simeon looked at the carvings, "He just has a duty to fulfill that he is not aware of yet..."</span>

The gathered Elementals (except Joshua) gave Simeon a strange look.

<span style='color:teal'>"Nevermind... Lance..."</span>

<span style='color:#336699'>"Yes, Simeon?"</span>

<span style='color:teal'>"Take inventory of all the salvage... I'll return in a few hours to assign new skills and equipment..."</span>

<span style='color:teal'>"Father?"

Simeon's glowing eyes met his son's brown eyes, "May I join you?"

Simeon smiled, "I would like that, my son... come... We'll train together..."

And both vanished into the catacomb sublevels...</span>

<span style='color:blue'> Louanne sank down onto her mattress, rubbing her arm. For some strange, unexplained reason it had been giving off small shoots of pain ever since she'd knocked out the guard back in the now-destroyed lab. Her thoughts turned to Trik. Was he awake yet? She sighed and leaned against the pillow...jerking back up as she heard a light tinkle. "Oh no, I forgot about these!" she exclaimed, looking at the bag on her waist. Grabbing her katana and strapping it on once more, she ran from the room. "Where's Simeon?"</span>

<span style='color:teal'>Simeon turned around when he heard Louanne call for him.</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"There you are!"</span>

<span style='color:teal'>Simeon smiled politely, "Louanne... "</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"I.. I alomst forgot about these..." She showed Simeon the satchel of Spirit Orbs she had collected during the raid.</span>

<span style='color:teal'>Simeon nodded, "Very good... More than usual. Bring them to Lance for identifying, and I'll assign them when Joshua and I return from meditations.</span>

<span style='color:blue'>Louanne nodded, "Thank you, Simeon... "</span>

<span style='color:teal'>"You're welcome... Is there anything else you need to know?"</span>

<span style='color:blue'> Louanne looked a bit embarrased and fiddled with the bag. "Is...Trik awake yet?" she asked timidly after a second's pause. </span>

[Simeon]

<span style='color:teal'>"He emerged from stasis while you were away... He's resting in his room right now... Why?"</span>

<span style='color:blue'>Louanne grinned, rather sheepishly. "Just curious, that's all..." She turned and started down the hall. After a few steps, she stopped and looked back. "Uh, where's Lance?" She smiled apolegetically. "I'm afraid I still don't know where people are..."</span>

[Simeon]

<span style='color:teal'>"He should be in the computer chamber near the lobby." Simeon said with a wise smile, "He'll know I directed you to him."</span>

<span style='color:blue'>Louanne bowed her thanks and ran off with an obviously nervous gait.</span>

<span style='color:teal'>"You sense what I sense, Father?" Joshua said with an embarrassed tone.

Simeon just nodded and both father and son vanished into the catacombs...</span>

(Uh...)(Fwee!)(oO Pardon the randomness...)(And I'm having problems with my cookies. Darn cookies...no wonder I'm having so much trouble. ><)

<span style='color:blue'> Louanne entered the lobby, stopped, and looked around for any clue to the computer chamber. A loud humming seemed to be coming down a small side passage, so she went that way. A room was at the end of it. Pausing in the doorway, she glanced around. Sure enough, there was a very small, flattened area that spelled "Computer Chamber" in neat letters. She peeked in. "Lance? I nabbed some extra orbs from the last raid and forgot about them..."</span>

[Prancing Mad]

<span style='color:blue'>Trik's body was surging with intense lightning. His power had far passed what he originally had. Every so often, His body would twitch during his sleep, and sparks of lightning would fly through the halls. He stayed asleep though, Still hearing the conversations of his Friends...

<Is...Trik awake yet...?></span>

<span style='color:teal'><He emerged from stasis while you were away... He's resting in his room right now... Why...?>

<span style='color:#336699'>Lance had his helmet off and was in his half-dragon form when Louanne walked in.

"Ah... Miss Louanne. Those are the orbs? Lay them out on the table over there so I can inspect them..."</span>

<span style='color:blue'> The girl obliged, setting each fragile-looking orb gently on the table surface. She stepped back, looking them over. There were a total of seven orbs arranged in two rows. <They're quite pretty,> thought Louanne.</span>

[Simeon]

<span style='color:#336699'>Lance walked up to the orbs and picked each one up and nodded...

"ForcedStasis... Sleep... Blind... Lupi-Shift... Sync... Jamming... Hmn?!"</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"What's 'Hmn?!' "</span>

<span style='color:#336699'>"Simeon should see this one..." Lance replied, shelving the orb.</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"What is it?"</span>

<span style='color:#336699'>"DeusExMachina... An Altered Class Spirit... These are dangerous, and Simeon knows that..."</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"How does he know that?"</span>

<span style='color:#336699'>Lance had a worried look on his face, "It happens to be a very long story that Simeon would prefer not to talk about... You'll just have to wait for him to assign these new powers, Louanne... Anything else I should know?"</span>
