Well, it was either that or do the battle twice. Seemed the obvious choice to me.

I like the Two battles at once idea... makes Brendan and May have more practice at working together, and all young trainers need to learn to work together.

They sell high at that point in the game though, worth a few pokeballs

I never use the X stuff in the games, unless it's the X Accercy (sp). I use it for the instant ko attacks :)

X items are really useful when your pokemon suck compared towho you're up against. Like, say, the Elite Four. That's the only way I've been able to beat them because I have such a hard time leveling my pokemon.

Aside from upping the accurracy for instant KO moves (which I never use anyway), I found that I was better off using my turn to attack or heal instaed of using a stat up.
