I made one final rules update in the first post. If you have any issues with them, speak now. Since there's only a few of us, I decided Round Robin format would be more fun than normal elimination.

And we have the matchups for round 1! Remember, starting tomorrow you'll have one week to complete your match. This is Round Robin, so over the course of the tournament, everyone will fight everyone else and whoever does the best overall will be the winner. So, the tournament will take four weeks to complete, unless everyone finishes their matches early so we start the next round early.

Round 1:
Puyon vs. Silver
Josiah vs. Stevenson
Shauni vs. Absolute Nothingness (we have an odd number, so she's off this week)

Stevenson won our match. He's got an interesting team with a couple things I wasn't expecting and I had some bad luck with critical hits and one of those "everything on my team that can destroy that guy was already KO'd situations".

I won my match against Puyon. She likes Grass types and... my team was very well equipped to handle Grass types.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Ok then.

Current Standings:
Silver - 2
Stevenson - 2
Josiah - 0
Puyon - 0
Shauni - 0

Round 2:
Puyon vs. Josiah
Shauni vs. Silver
Stevenson vs. The Void

The deadline for round 2 will be November 1, but if we have our matches early, we can keep things moving at a faster pace.

Puyon, I'll send you a PM here on the forums, or you could friend me on FB if it's easier to work out a time on there. I'd send you a friend request, but I'm not sure which of Colly's sisters you are (or if you one of the ones without a FB account).

I got Silvers msg, I will be battling Thursday, but internet is a little off ATM, so if I'm unable to connect, Silver can have the win.

Her team wasn't bad, but lacked a good counter for Talonflame.

Silver and I's battle was a bust as my internet decided to go down all last night, even though it worked fine all the week and THIS morning Blarh. We have re-arranged to battle at some point on Sunday as that is when we are both available. If it fails again, I'll forfeit as its not fair to keep messing everyone around.

Ok! Next up...

Current Standings:
Silver - 4 (2W, 0L)
Stevenson - 2 (1W, 0L)
Josiah - 2 (1W, 1L)
Puyon - 0 (0W, 2L)
Shauni - 0 (0W, 1L)

Round 3:
Shauni vs. Puyon
Silver vs. Stevenson
Josiah vs. The Imaginary Pokémon Trainer

On a side note, I realized there's a very real chance the tournament could end with a tie. If that does happen, there will be a tie-breaker match between the people with the most points.

Your Phil the Ferrothorn was a tank and I had nothing to counter it.

I usually speed boost, sword dance then baton toss to my sweeper, but you would not let me get a move in!

Puyon we can try a battle tonight or Tuesday, but my home wifi is spotty so we might not get a connection. I am on GMT. I'm free from 6pm. I can arrange to battle you over the weekend if my boyfriend doesn't mind me stealing his wifi again like I did with Silvers battle.

Would just like to point out that I won battles against both Puyon and shauni so I also have two wins.

EDIT: And make that three, I managed to win against Stevenson!

I'm pretty sure I always had you listed as having two wins...

Anyway, I'm looking forward to our match, Silver (in round 4 or 5). I've been pretty successful against Ferrothorns in the past...

Shauni beat me this round. I thought I had her but then my connection cut during that battle. We fought a third time and she killed. *shakes fist at Khangaskan*
