Mafia
Re: Mafia
The thing in that game was that no one could agree, allowing Poison to be the tie-breaker both rounds. Anyway, I'm up for another game, but we'll need someone to replace Shauni.

I guess I'm in due to Stevenson's request, if ye shall have me.
Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?
I am the artist formerly known as Matrix Kirby.

Me too, of course.

Re: Mafia
I'll narrate this round then.
So who've we got?
Josiah
Poik
MK/PM
Stevenson
Poison
Is... Cheesey still around? He hasn't posted since last round, so I guess I'll ask. I can try to coerce Colly and/or Puyon if need be too.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Mafia
The year is 20XX. The Pebble Version forums are deserted; only a few brave souls struggle to live on in the barren landscape. What they need now, more than ever, is a boost to their population, but alas, the once great civilization has faded into obscurity. What could save the struggling empire? The local mafia had an idea - the first annual Pebble Games! This would surely entice the curiosity of their neighboring forums...
The citizens were gathered in town square, under the guise of an important meeting, but what they found instead... was Poison's dead body and a note: "Kill each other or I'll kill all of you!"
The Pebble Versionites had a decision to make; should they ignore it as an empty threat? Play along and kill each other at random? Or maybe try to find out who it was that killed Poison, and get rid of them before the next attack? Knowing Pebble Version, it would probably be the second one. That's usually what happens.
tl;dr, Poison's dead, cast your votes.

Re: Mafia
Well, Poison was the mafia last round so it makes sense that others would be out to get revenge. Others like Poik who, despite in detailed analysis, failed to uncover her in time to win the game.
Re: Mafia
I'd say either Poik or Josiah. Josiah was first to vote and first to put forward a reasonable argument. I'm going to go with Poik though just so that there is not going to be a split on votes.

Re: Mafia
Another one? Didn't this just happen in the year 20XW?
Sure, Josiah was quick to start once everything was said. Could it have been he was ready since before the fiasco? Perhaps because he's the cause!
But even the mafia isn't dumb enough to post first. Too suspicious, unless they're counting on people to think it's too suspicious. But then the best position to take would be the second post if they're chomping at the bit but don't want to be too obvious. That would be Shauni.
If they were a little more level headed, third post is a very unobtrusive position, and unlikely to draw suspicion, even with the long winded rants of Poik.
But, perhaps it was someone who is sitting it out and watching the fun from a safe position, like MK/PM (M'M for short).
Heck, it may even be someone who is trying to get revenge from last game, and an experienced player who would know to hold their tounge until the perfect moment, such as Stevenson.
I don't know. Without more information, it could be anyone. Including Poison (what a twist). But I'm pretty sure it's not Josiah. To keep this short, I'm guessing it's M'M so he'll come out of hiding and give his side of the story.

Re: Mafia
Actually, I think Poik makes a good argument so I think I'll go with him on this and vote for Prancing Kirby, or Matrix Mad, or whatever. Prancing Mad Kirby?

Re: Mafia
Out for revenge, you say? Hm, perhaps it's possible. There's still far too much that isn't known, and I never like the first round of these, voting is just so random. I must say I don't think it was Prancing Mad, nor was it Matrix Kirby. Frankly, my reasoning is that old-timers on these forums sometimes forget about newcomers, and that is terrible reasoning, for many reasons, including that Poison has probably spent more time on these forums than MK and I put together. But it's all I have. I vote for Josiah.
