As of this moment, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection has been taken down. Due to Gamespy closing down all of their functions, Nintendo has had to close the online features of all DS & Wii games. This affects the games Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Battle Revolution, Black, White, Black 2, White 2 and several spin-off titles. The online functions of these games will unfortunately not return. 3DS and Wii U titles, including Pokémon X & Y, Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter are unaffected by this.

Well, this sucks. Oh well, gutted about some of the DLC I missed for Pokemon Conquest as I forgot to download those while I was downloading stuff for other DS games. Never mind.

Uh, hey!

Hoo, wow, it's been a while, hasn't it? I totally meant to come back on during KotF but then suddenly KotF was over and I had never reappeared. Geeze, uhm, I really have no excuse other than being busy and running a marching band and whatnot and just kinda getting carried away with all of that. It's been busy and hasn't exactly been the most sleep-filled of times (there was one week where, Sunday night, I got 5.5 hours of sleep. Then the next night was 4.5 hours. Then it was 3.5. Then it was 2.5. I started getting really concerned I was on track for -0.5 hours of sleep), but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.

Hm, what else has happened... uh, I started writing fanfic again and actually published it for the first time. And, whaddaya know, I got over 500 reviews and 1.5k followers. I should probably update... I can't use being busy with school stuff as an excuse anymore now that finals are over... Uhm, well, I'm staying on campus over the summer to work, do research and take a class at some point, so that should be fun. Reunion is in a couple weeks, so I'll be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off because every freaking reunion class wants the marching band to play at some event of theirs. Not that I'm complaining--I love performing, and I'm glad I'll be doing some conducting this summer but... yeah, it'll be a busy couple days.

Now I'm off to lunch! Ta!

Hi! I'm mostly focusing on completing my trip planning before I leave for China on Sunday. A little nervous about that part of my trip, for a few reasons, but it should be cool. And then, Japan! Still planning out exactly what I'll be doing there. Not the cheapest summer, but I should lose much money (it's basically eating up all the money I'm making over the summer) and hey, I'm not going to always have the time and funds to do these kinds of things. I should still have access to the forums while I'm in China, but Facebook is blocked there so don't try and contact me there for the next couple of weeks.

Nice to hear from you, Saber! I would recommend getting more sleep when at all possible. When I was in college, sleep was always the absolute last thing I sacrificed, since a lack of sleep tends to hurt overall performance.

Hi Josiah, congrats on the job offer, I saw your post on facebook this morning! Glade to see all your hard work is paying off!

Hi! So yeah, I've accepted a job offer to start a game design program at University of Hawaii - West Oahu campus. It's a good university, the program looks to have a lot of potential, and I'll be able to try out some classes and other things I've wanted to do that just aren't feasible where I am now. It's also a higher salary and lower course load (though other professor type work and Hawaii's high cost of living will probably even things out a lot in that regard). Plus, I'll get to see my family more and, you know, live in Hawaii. Not Honolulu, unfortunately (the traffic here would make that commute a bit of a pain), but it's not that far of a drive (at least when it's not a daily commute type of thing). Kinda the usual mix of excited and nervous right now. It doesn't change my travel plans, but I'll have a lot to do when I get back from Japan. Moving from Arizona to Florida was nothing compared to this... I'm hoping to get a two bedroom place (though I won't be able to really start looking until after Japan), so keep that in mind if any of you guys are looking for a vacation spot.

Hi! I managed to successfully get around China for a day including touring, eating, and using the trains and subways. And, if I could do it today, the rest of this trip shouldn't be any harder.

Glad you're having a fun time in China, Josiah. I, meanwhile, caught a cold during my school's Spring Fest last Friday, and have been feeling yucky all day. Better than yesterday though, when I had a 101.3 degree F fever (not too strange for me as I tend to run high fevers) and was just laying around pondering bread most of the day.

Also, today was Senior skip day at my school. I went to school anyway because I didn't realize it until I actually got to school. Just my luck, too. I could've used today to get some rest and recuperate from this cold. Oh well, at least I don't have any work to make up or missed homework assignments I need to get. Take that, people who skipped and probably slept all day! I envy but also mock you! Ha ha!
