Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Sorry to hear that, Stevenson. But don't despair! Surely your brilliant countenance can make even the darkest times wonderful.

Parties present problems posting on Pebbles.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Alas, poor Silver, your presence hast been sorely missed. But even the barest hint of thy fair visage does inspire me to go forth and seek to cast a light upon this barren land. Friends, hath not the chosen day dawned? Gaze one more upon Silver's dazzling gleam as we venture forth in glory.

It seems that this sorrowful Saturday
Suffers from a slim amount of speaking, I say
mix up day is hard
my performance is marred
Since I seldom see ways to fit the theme...ay

Moi,
So, uhh...I kind of missed the final day of TWofR...Yeah, I was not feeling well today, so I took the day off. Oh well. Feeling better now, so I might make a final picture sometime before I go to bed. Just for fun.
Yeah...hope ya'll had a good last day, though!
Stay radical people!

Hi! Well, it was a bit small, but I hope you guys had fun during The Week of Randomness. I especially enjoyed the return of the Shakespeare and limericks themes. I do miss the days when the forums were busier though. I was hoping thing would stay like that after the big KotF old member revival but it seems it wasn't to be... Maybe I should make an AIM group and see if that helps get people talking again.
In other news, my vacation is still going well. I saw a really cool lizard while hiking yesterday. Photos will be on PV tomorrow.
I floated this idea out there one before, but it's been a few years. Would anyone be interested in a Japan tour, led by me? I think it would be a pretty awesome way to spend part of the summer, if I could get enough people together. If there's enough interest, I could work out some potential itineraries and budgets. I could see it costing anywhere from $600 - 2000 per person, not including airfare, depending on the length, itinerary, and whether or not most meals are included in the price.

Aloha. Like I said, I was a bit preoccupied. My apologies.
Stevenson's Vocabulary Word of the Week:
Foment: (verb) To excite or arouse, i.e. 2014's Week of Randomness hopes to foment some activity on the forums.
Stevenson's Latin Phrase of the Week:
Brutum Fulmen: (senseless thunderbolt) This phrase, coined by Pliny the elder, is used to refer to an empty threat.

Aww, sorry I missed TWoR, things have been i'll just say funny for me here.
My grandfather passed away early last week, still feeling conflicted about it, tis a complicated relationship between me/my family and my grandfather. I think I'm most upset that he's gone and about the fact that I never got to know him all that well and will never get to, at the same time I'm upset that he never made the effort to know me, couldn't even contact him for my wedding so. . .
On a happier note, Happy Holidays to everyone whichever you may celebrate. ^_^
I go more along the lines of it being a time for family and friends usually involving a bbq. Some presents are involved but usually just for the immediate family and meh besties. Cards for everyone else, I'd send candy canes but it might not survive the mail, can get hot around this time, and not everyone can eat them. ^_^

Moi,
Sorry to hear that Kaida. My condolences.
Well...I just got done making a whole bunch of cookies, and, oh, what a day to wear a black shirt. So much flour everywhere. So much cleaning up to do...But in the end, so worth it.
So, of course, merry holidays to ya'll out there. Hope you get lots of gifts, good food, and/or don't have to shovel too much snow.
And to all a good night! Stay radical people!

Sorry about your loss, Kaida. Even if it wasn't someone you were especially close with, family is family and it's sad to see them go.
Also, it's now my turn to say this: congratulations on your engagement, Stevenson.
And Merry Christmas to everyone else.
Except Josiah. Happy Wednesday, Josiah! I mean, you could have a Merry Christmas too if you'd like.

Hi! Sorry to hear that, Kaida. As Silver said, a loss is still a loss, even if you weren't that close.
And hey, congrats Stevenson!
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Huh. Y'know, now that I think about it, it's gotta be pretty nice to not officially "observe" Christmas. Then it's just a free day off (and if not, it's free holiday pay). Plus, you can go to whatever Christmas party you like, because your family only had plans for Hanukkah/Chanukah/wikipedia doesn't know an official spelling so neither do I.
Meanwhile I had to work, and it made me sad. Customers weren't too bad at least, except for that one guy who almost had a heart attack because I told him "about a minute" on his hot dog and it took two (because his "movie was starting"! God forbid he miss the twenty minutes of previews!) And I got to wear my Santa hat all day because, while we're technically not allowed to, Lori wasn't there to tell me no, and Anthony, Sherene, and Jane didn't care.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I personally like Chanukah, but seeing as it's transliteration there really isn't an "official" spelling and there's two or three popular ones.
Too bad you had to work, Silver. I actually went to the nearby movie theater today...only to turn around and walk back because the Hobbit was sold out (twenty minutes before the start and everything) and the only other movies starting around the same time were Hunger Games (which I've already seen) and Justin Bieber. So I ended up playing Zelda instead.

Happy New Year people! The future is now!...and I still don't have my hoverboard yet. Though it's only been an hour, so maybe I'll get it sometime later.
