Hi! You know what, Saber? Forget about engineering, you should write a soap opera based on your life. :-P

I happen to be an expert on this topic (because WHYYY can't I stop going on /lbgt/)!

Trans people often go through a phase wherein they try to force themselves to... stop being trans. This involves acting like a cookie-cutter stereotype of their gender. Thing is that it's an act and it doesn't ever work.

I mean, it's either that or this is related to tumblr. If she STILL seems feminine then it miiight just be that the social justice warriors told her that gender is fluid and she can be a special snowflake twospirit genderqueer whatever.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! A computer virus some how managed to slip past all my protection (first time in years). As a result, I had to spend the last several hours getting rid of it. Would have been faster if said virus didn't cause my computer to crash multiple times and dodge the first several removal methods I tried. -.- At least it seems to be gone now.

You may just want to get the downloadable version of Okami HD, Shauni.
Did not know it was on download. May just do that. My internet is still trip though, so I always end up buying the discs if they are out. When they had the DLC for Fallout 3 on Disc it made my year, when I had to download 3 GB for Skyrim it took 2 WEEKS of my xbox being on soild from 6pm to 11pm. My internet is THAT bad I can't even get on the playstation store half the time.

'Lo, peeps. I've posted parts 2 and 3 of my World of Tanks gaming highlights, which can be found here and here.

This series was mostly about figuring out how to use video editing software and to get more comfortable doing commentary. I managed to butcher the video quality in Premiere Elements, and the volume of my voice is pretty inconsistent, which I tried to compensate for with lots and lots of editing. I've learned a lot from the experience, and I'm going to be expanding to other games in the near future.

Not much else has been happening to me recently, apart from managing to injure my right middle finger wile I was washing my stepfather's new kitchen knives (which, by the way, are really, really sharp). It was a fairly tiny cut, but it was juuust deep enough to bleed a lot, which is never fun. Also, my pursuit of a summer job is still ongoing a month after finishing year one of my college program. Part of the reason I've been able to start doing gaming videos is that I really don't have a lot better to do with my time.

Hi! I'm in LA now. So far, it's mostly reinforcing my previous opinion on not liking LA much. Going to a theme park is kinda tempting, since I've basically got today and tomorrow to myself while my parents and brother are doing things at the ICAK conference, but I think I'm just going to walk around the city for a bit, see some sights, and spend the rest of the day working on my current story for SOE. I've got three out of six chapters done now and if I can get the fourth finished before going to Japan, that'd be nice.

Moi,

Just got out of my ACT. I feel so drained. Yeah, taking an ACT right before finals week. Smart, huh?

Now all I have to worry about is my five finals over the next week or two, then I can finally totally relax for summer vacation.
Yeah, that'd be nice...

I think I'm going to take a nap now.

Stay radical people. Peace off!

Hi! In the airport waiting for my flight to...Seattle! It'll be awesome! I've never been to Washington state before, and now I get a whole hour in the airport before flying to Tokyo :-P Not sure why this was cheaper than one of the many direct flights from LA, but hey, now I can check Washington off the very small list of states I've never visited. Sorta...

Hey.

I often talk to my friends about whether my life would make a better soap opera/drama or sitcom. But actually.

I went through a phase where I really felt the need to talk about being interested in some sort of celebrity dude or how hot he was or something despite not really feeling that way. At the time, I was asexual, but I felt that that was weird and I was trying to feel less like an outcast on those matters and try to act like more how I thought a "normal" person would. When I started to think I might be having feelings for girls, I doubled the whole pretending to be attracted to guys thing. Now that I've accepted being bi, I don't feel the need to talk about being attracted to guys or girls at all, because that's just not really my way.

SO I've been working at an internship at an engineering firm for the past two weeks and today I got my first paycheck and it's significantly more than I thought it would be. I was kind of under the impression I was getting minimum wage AND I'M SO HAPPY I'M WRONG.

My parents get mad at me when they think I'm making more money than I should. I don't understand this sentiment. I had to charge less money for babysitting than people would offer me, and less for tutoring than people would offer me. I felt ridiculously awkward when my folks asked me about my first paycheck.

I can understand the baby sitting & tutoring thing if you are helping friends and family, as they may not want you to "take advantage" even if they offer you more, but it would be weird if they thought you got to much money for a proper job. My parents are made up for me when I get pay increases. How old are you anyway now? they shouldn't even really be asking you about how much you earn unless you live with them and it is to go towards household expenses.

Hi! Nothing wrong with parents' asking about a salary, though I suppose there's no need to tell them if you're not living at home.

On my end, I made it to Tokyo without any problems...except that I forgot to pack a plus adapter for my laptop (it uses a 3-prong plug, all the sockets in Japan are 2). That's actually why PV didn't update yesterday. The internet worked, the battery in my laptop just doesn't last all that long anymore and I had other things that needed to be done. But a trip to Akihabara solved that problem, and led to lots of shopping. I didn't make it to my favorite music stores yet, but I got most of the visual novels I wanted (both Higabana, Rose Gun Days, Rewrite, and Rewrite Fiesta Days). ;-)

Aloha! I must say I disagree with you there Josiah. It's personal information, and while certainly there's no harm in asking, there's absolutely a problem if the reason for the question is to make sure it's a low enough number.

In other news, two jobs is hard.

Moi,

Just got back from my English final. My hand feels dead. I think I did well, though. No real reason to be telling y'all this other then the fact that I feel like stalling since I need to start studying for my US History final tomorrow. Yay.

In other news, my friend and I walked home together and we got into a conversation about how Riker from Star Trek: TNG always steps over his chair whenever he sits down. It ended with us laughing over the idea of Riker doing that gymnastic routine where you use a pommel horse, but using a chair instead. Yeah, take in that image. Amazing, isn't it?
I think I need to draw that now, it's just so incredible...or I could be lazy and just photoshop a picture of Riker's head onto a gymnast...yeah, I think might do that.

Anyway, stay radical, people! Peace off!

Akihabara is awesome. I spent two hours in the game department of Akiba. Man, that Tomb Raider statue they had was cool!
