Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
A roaring yawn interrupted the confused chatter in the room as the lion-esque mass of fur and feathers stirred to waking, muttering incoherently and smacking his lips in an unconscious effort to ward away morning mouth. There was a half-uttered 'blegh' followed by some shuffling around as he sat up, stretched, and scratched the usual morning itches.
... and that's when the lion-thing stopped himself in the middle of his routine.
"... Why do I suddenly feel itchier than usual? I thought I took a bath before I went to bed..."

"...Do you... have fleas?" though they were not standing particularly close to each other anyway, Silver backed away from Simeon slightly.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
The kirby just stood there, looking at his new pink flabby hands, just staring at them awestruck. Jaw dropped. His shades were nowhere to be seen.
"H... How... am I... Wha..."
He just seemed to tune everything around him out. Not only was he pink, he also shrunk 5 feet.
After a few minutes, he shook his head, then looked around. Things were starting to click, and he was able to recognize a few of the others based upon things he recognized from his time perusing the forum, and listened in on their observations.
"As neat as an idea this may turn out to be, we seriously need to find out what's going on here. There's no way this is some kind of coincidence. Someone must have done this to us."

Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?

Kaida's ears twitched as everything seemed alot louder then normal. There was some very loud snoring and lots of voices. Maybe I left the TV on, she thought at first, then she realized that she was lying on the floor. Paying more attention to the conversation going on in the room she quickly worked out what was going on. Okay I'm either dreaming or I'm really in the PVF forums.
Then someone mentioned fleas. Kaidas tail twitched, she shot up and pounced on the closest person to her, who happened to be an unsuspecting Saber "I don't want fleeeaaaassss!" She cried.

"Oof," grunted Saber as she hit the ground with a thud. After wincing and rubbing her head, she immediately awkwardly gave her attacker a vague pat on the side of her arm.
"Uhm... there there... I'm sure you'll be fine," she said, somewhat reassuringly. "Now if you could just get off my lungs, that would be greatly appreciated."

"Ack, I'm sorry Saber" Kaida said getting off Saber and sitting on the floor. "But we defiantly do need to work out what's going on. If there’s nothing else in this room then we might as well explore". Said scratching her ears which were now big white and fluffy.
"Kaida by the way, in case it wasn't obvious" She continued smiling while standing up, finding she had better balance then what she used to and a tail, which she flexed in a text of the motor skills.

"Yeah, it wasn't actually at all. But you're right, I don't think there's much to be found out in this room...and that's the only door I can work." he said, not indicating any door because he had no arms. "So I guess our first course of action is to go in there. I nominate the people with arms." he said sarcastically. "I'll try to get the rest of this place online. I imagine we're in the Index, and that door leads to the introduction area. I figured that out because it says 'Introductions' above the door, aren't I just brilliant?" he glowered.

"Well, someone's a bit grumpy," muttered Saber as she got to her feet. "Though I suppose I would be, too, if I lost the use of my arms. Though being able to fly is super cool..." Here, Saber spaced out for a few moments as she lost herself in a daydream of her soaring high above her campus and looking down at McGraw tower from above.
A few seconds later, she snapped back to (a very bizzare) reality. "Err, right, I guess I can go open that door." With that, she crossed the room and opened the door.

"Well, I always wondered if I would come back to this place. I just never expected it would be in this fashion."
Looking around, he saw a few familiar faces, or as familiar as they can be if he only ever saw them on Facebook. As he took in the situation around him(not to mention Stevenson's dream-check suggestion), he had an idea of what was to come next. After letting everyone meet, greet, and get to terms with the situation, he decided to get things started.
"So Stevenson... correct me if I'm wrong, but this wouldn't be one of those situations where we go to the starting area, i.e. the Introductions, get... introduced, as it were, to the situation at hand, and I assume meet the antagonists, who will possibly subsequently beat us in a fight to prove we need to get stronger and/or that we are pathetic and absolutely powerless to stop them, etc? Or have I been playing to many video games with that trope? Either way, I'm sure our first step would be going into that door."
He wondered what would be in there, or at least how it was represented here. He hadn't been to the forums in a long while, but he assumed that it would be just as littered with one or two page threads started by members who never posted again. I wonder if they'll be zombies? God I hate zombies...

"Well, given that we're in a computer, or something like that, that may be appropriate. Although I'd recommend not losing, if at all possible. If that's even possible" Stevenson said thoughtfully. "This may not be a situation where you can be killed. We might just wake up as ourselves! But best not test it, I suppose. But, yes, I wouldn't be surprised if there's some people in there that want to introduce themselves. It would certainly be...fitting."

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
With all the talk about being trapped in a computer and trying to open a door into the 'introduction forum' going on, Simeon took a few quiet moments to assess his own personal situation... black fur (that should explain the itchiness...), wings (cumbersome things...), two tails (one likely unnecessary), the clothes he went to bed in (denim shorts and a white shirt), and the distinct lack of fleas (something he was not only grateful for, but something his new comrades would need to know.)
He shifted his position again into a little more comfortable sitting position, leaning his back against the wall while he dug around in the little canvas gunny-sack he woke up with. It was while he was taking stock of his current inventory -- a metal stick of some sort, one of what he hoped was a pair sharp farming implements, a teddy-bear he dared not show his compatriots, and a slightly tattered blue cloak -- that the lion-thing had a thought.
"Have we checked for a door knob on that door? ... anyone?"

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
Josiah stepped forward and addressed the others.
"Come on guys, why worry so much? We're all together, we're in some weird place, and weapons and cool stuff like that. Whether this is real, or a dream, or whatever, it's going to an adventure and it's going to be fun, right? We're bound to an explanation eventually, so for now let's just enjoy ourselves."
He joined Kaida at the door.
"If these are really our introduction topics, there could be some pretty random stuff in there so be careful."

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
Simeon nodded in agreement with Josiah's statement while he simultaneously observed the rest of the group quietly from his corner -- specificially Saber Knight as she managed to open the door into the Introductions forum. He couldn't shake the feeling something bad was going to happen at any moment, and quietly stomped down the urge to tacklepounce Saber out of the way of what might be an ambush.
He really, really hoped his instincts were wrong.

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
A voice sounding very similar to Josiah's--but not quite exactly his-- came through the open door.
"Oh, please do come in. We need to be introduced...and to lay down some forum rules. Please start by posting something in the introduction thread and introducing yourselves to the rest of the forum."
