Nah, but seriously, I imagine it's usually a combination of getting busier and losing interest. I mean, it's nice to belong to a community, but isn't it more interesting when you're just joining a new one? Besides, it's sort of uncomfortable when people online know you too well. So there's just less and less incentive to visit, especially when you're busy with other things, and then it seems hard to come back after you've been away for too long. Because you're not really going back to a place you're familiar with - how many of the members you knew will still be there? - but it's not really joining a new community either. And besides that, do you know how many webcomic communities just like this one totally die off in time? Usually it only happens if the comic stops updating, but not always. People don't have anything to say, so they don't post, the admin notices and shuts the place down. What's the point in trying to go back when there may be nothing left? And that's just kind of sad.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."

I'm rather happy that the forums have remained active for so long, and that we have people who have stayed for as long as they have. Especially considering PV isn't one of the super popular web comics with thousands of visitors per day.
