Well....
My oh my, if making a post here isn't a walk right down memory lane, I rightly don't know what is. I used to be all over these forums, haha. And I even still have mod powers, there's a doozy. Then again, no real reason to remove them, I suppose.
Right, so, ahem. What's new?

Hi Stevenson. I'd say welcome back, but that would be odd. Seeing how I too am coming back after months and months. After coming back once.
Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?
I am the artist formerly known as Matrix Kirby.

Haha, more like years in my case, I should think. Man...so, Simeon's coming back next, right?

That... would be amazing. But honestly, I wouldn't see that happening.

No, no, of course not.
Man, we joined about four months apart, back in 2005. Man, so long ago! Back in 2005, when life stretched infinitely ahead, the road going ever, ever on, nothing but Pebble Version Forums to while away the hours...what happened, eh?

Re: Well....
The difference is nobody has any way of contacting Simeon... I had you guys on facebook, I've got Mandi and Opal on DA at least (...I just created a FurAffinity to pester Ibun...), but... for Simeon, we only have the e-mail address he used to register, and that's proven ineffective as far as I know. Did he ever mention a name? Any other web communities he went to? If we had anything of the sort, we could try some Internet stalking. I mean, I know that's creepy and all, but it's not like we're actually looking for personal information. Just... some way to say hello again, I guess. And hey, what about Artemis? Does anyone know what happened to her? It would be cool to see her again too.
Anyways, let's see... what have you guys missed... um, some Weeks of Randomness and some Forum Awards, of course, but those always happen... an RP week which saw precisely two posts... Josiah's game Car Washer came out. S'ok. He's workin' on another one now, a VN, and I'm helpin' out with the artwork because neon green gradients make eyes bleed. IPA's kinda dead, even though I tried so hard to reboot it last summer! I could give it another try I guess, but right now I've got too much schools.
We've been having really interesting moral discussions in the Saying Hi thread, PoisonWing posts cool artwork sometimes, I need ONE MORE WORD for the current Pebble Version Mad Libs and NO ONE IS POSTING IT... and we're actually going to have a good round of Mafia starting up soon! Gar and Sims just joined in, and in combination with the usual guys, we'll have enough people to actually play a game. That'll be the first time it's happened in a while.
We have had some cool new members join! And some really terrible ones that became good members after a while, as usual. Just not with the numbers we used to... remember when we got like, Sims and Cheesey and Gar all back to back? That was cool.
Meanwhile, the very first bonus challenge in this KotF was to write about an old member that was especially missed. Marley wrote about Atma. Atma came back a few days later - with no prompting on Marley's part even - and then the race was on to get other people to come visit. Or stay! You're more than welcome to stay!

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

It's great to see you guys again! Silver gave a pretty good summary of things, so I'll just say that I hope you stick around for a while.

Re: Well....
Ahaha, perhaps I'll go for King this year, eh? Wouldn't that be a coup, haha, to show up out of the great blue internet sky and steal the throne.

Re: Well....
That...might not be impossible. Astral pulled a pretty impressive late game arrival to get Princess in the psat.

SWEET MOTHER OF JESUS IT'S SIMEON
I concede defeat; Matrix Kirby, you win at this. Also, if he's read through the thread, I tooootally sound like a creepy stalker... IT WASN'T ME MATRIX KIRBY DID IT
B-but anyway! It's great to have you back (either to stay or just for a short visit, either way is fine)!
Seriously. This is the best KotF ever.
And I am not having any luck getting this Paradise Lost paper done, let alone the Beowulf one. Which is due in three hours.
