AIM Chat
AIM Chat
There's a RP forum I'm a member of and pretty much all the members are on AIM a lot. A little while back, a permanent group chat was created for it. The chat sits around and unless you specifically leave it, you're always a member so it just sits around and random chat occurs throughout the day when people are on. That got me wondering if a lot of you guys both use AIM and would be interested in me creating something like that for PVF.
Re: AIM Chat
I'm a part of another RP group that has a group Skype account, if that gives you any ideas.
Re: AIM Chat
I've never tried RPing over chat before, but I find the idea interesting. The only problem I can see is whether everyone can get on at the same time, unless I'm interpreting this idea wrong.
Re: AIM Chat
It doesn't have to be RPing over the chat, but it can go either way.Faustgy wrote:I've never tried RPing over chat before, but I find the idea interesting. The only problem I can see is whether everyone can get on at the same time, unless I'm interpreting this idea wrong.
Also, I heard of a place called Xat that might also work. It's a little convoluted, though.
Re: AIM Chat
I was more thinking general chat than RPing. AIM works pretty well for this type of thing, not need for special programs.
Re: AIM Chat
Okay, I definitely misinterpreted it.
Still seems like an interesting idea.

Re: AIM Chat
Wow, this is late for me, but to be perfectly honest, it is a really good idea, but lots of things would need to be there: like a moderator almost 24/7, a way to keep it up 24/7 and all that jazz, but looking at it, it is very plausible and a very good idea.
I thought Snivy was a grass version of Cyndaquil, that's the reason for my nickname, oh yeah check out my Youtube channel, grassaquilUV. (easy to remember, isn't it?)
Re: AIM Chat
The thing would always stay open and you'd automatically be in it when ever you were logged into AIM, that's easy. 24/7 moderation, however, wouldn't happen and, since only trusted forum members would be invited, shouldn't be neccessary.
