Wow, we're off to a great start. First week of the revived club and I totally forget to post my comic on the day I'm supposed to. Anyway...
This week's (or two weeks, if people prefer) comic is Otherworld.
Plot: A young woman discovers that magic actually exists but is being hidden from the general population by a secret organization that pretty much kills anyone who gets too close to the truth. Fortunately, she falls in with Katlyn, a member of said organization who has spent her life undergoing harsh training, all so she can one day destroy them from the inside.
Art: The guy doing the comic is the one who created Lara Croft for the orignal Tomb Raider game. Since he's a pro, the art looks quite good, though it's all in black and white. Fortunately, the characters don't feature Lara Croft esque proportions.
Favorite Strips: This is a pretty serious plot comic so I don't have anything in particular, though some of the battles are pretty cool.
Things to Know: Otherworld is rated R (personally, I'd say PG-13, but it says R on the page) for violence and a little bit of partial nudity.
