Moi,

My dog-diggity-doodle, it's early...and the reason that I'm up at...7:39am EST is not because I woke up early, no. It's that I never got to bed last night...yeah, not a very smart idea on my part. I guess the reason I'm up is because of one thing occurring after another.
First thing that happened is that yesterday my parents and I went to the house of my parent's friends for a little Day of St. Patrick get-together. All we did for hours was just talk about stuff and listen to traditional Irish music and U2.
After that, when my parents and I got home (around 1:00am), I, instead of getting to bed, stayed up and started to watch some videos on YouTube. It's amazing how much time you can spend/waste just watching video after video there. It's like Wikipedia, but with videos.
And...well, really I just continued to watch videos all night until now...and I'm currently debating whether, you get to bed at a reasonable time tonight, I should stay up all day and get to bed early or take a short nap now and go to bed at a more regular time...I'll probably choose the latter.

Also, I have something possibly somewhat interesting to say. On Friday night, just as I was about to get to bed, I kind of panicked because of how dark on of the hallways in my house was. I just walked out of my bathroom and, as I usually do, turned of the bathroom light behind myself. In a time-span that lasted less then half of a second, my brain most likely went through these thoughts:
"Wow, it's dark here." "Wait, scary things could be hiding in the darkness..." "Scary things might possibly be dangerous things." "I don't want to be scared or killed by a scary-dangerous thing!" "I'm in a panic state right now!" "Turn the light back on! TURN THE DOG-DIGGITY LIGHT BACK ON!!!"
So I stumbled back into the bathroom and furiously shambled around to turn the light back on. It was at this point, almost hyperventilating, that I realized: "Yep, I think I definitely have a trace of Nycto or Lygophobia. I have a slight fear of the dark...yep."

Well, I wrote quite the wall of words there...

TL;DR version - I'm tired, YouTube is Wikipedia, but with videos, and I dislike dark, scary hallways.

Stay radical people!

Don't worry, Poison. Ever since watching Doctor Who, I'm afraid of the dark, too. Specifically it's Forest of the Dead and Silence in the Library that do it. See the quote on the top of this page? That's the sort of thing that makes you want to sleep with a night light.

I hope that makes you feel better!
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.

We won our DI tournament yesterday! :D So very excited! Not only that, but we managed to get the only DaVinci (award for highest creativity) of the day... pretty exciting!

Not only that, but they hand out tassles to graduating seniors... it was crazy, walking up there and getting those tassles after watching seniors do that for so many years...

Well, not much else to say... going to see my friend in Fiddler on the Roof (my friend is Hodel... when our high school did it in the fall, she was actually in the pit orchestra with me). Should be doing my homework, since I'm gone next Fri-Sun for Fest Finals. And the week after that I'll be gone all Saturday for DI States.... whee, I haven't had a Saturday to myself in a long time!

Such a great senior year <3

Last day of spring break... well, technically I'm off tomorrow too since I don't have any Monday classes, but I'm gonna have to spend that working on the paper I put off writing all week. Eh heh...

Hi! Why is my spring break so much later than everyone else's? It's kind of annoying...

I took a break from things today to see John Carter. It was pretty good, if a little slowly paced. I thought some of the areas looked familiar so I looked up the filming location, turns out it was Utah. Guess I don't really need to see Mars then, since I've been to Utah plenty of times.

Hey!

Silver, thank you for reminding me how terrifying Doctor Who was. Stayed up all night watching that.

So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

yes. Doctor Who is the kinda show that will make you VERY scared of the dark. The Silence creeped me out the most. They looked like ReDeads in suits. that episode scared me so much.....so what did i do? I played Mega man 10. Against a wall. With the lights on. constantly doing this :ninja: I finally fell asleep in Galaxy man's stage. Don't blink. O.O .

Not much to talk about today...so I'll just comment on what other people said!

Ditto, my spring break isn't until the second week of April...

Thanks, it's nice to know that there actually are people my age and older that still get a bit creeped out by the dark. And, also, it's not so much that I just figured out my fear, I realized a while ago that pretty much everyone in the world has a fear of the unknown (most commonly translated in to "a fear of the dark" or, more specifically, "a fear of what lurks in the darkness"). In that situation, I was just really surprised at how terrified I became just because I turned off the light. And also, yeah, those episodes did freak me out a bit. I think I first watched them while hugging my stuffed crocodile...

Actually, when I think about it, I think there is one source that, most likely, made me fully realize my fear of the dark...It is, now, a little known internet urban legend. There have been many stories made, many pictures both drawn and photographed, much terror brought upon those who were curious and naive enough to want to follow and learn about this strange and perplexing character. The character known as...the Slender Man. The people who brought this living terror to life wished for it to slowly creep up on the population, becoming more known as time went on, though not too quickly that it lost its impact on those who learned about it. I heard of his existence through my cousin, Meghan, when I visited her last summer. She said that he frightened her, though I, having not heard about this character before, found it humorous that she would say such a thing. When I got back and school started back up, I asked one of my friends if she knew about this unusual character, and she directed me to a YouTube channel known as Marble Hornets. That same day, well after the sun had gone down, I decided that it would be the perfect time to find out what this was all about...boy, was I wrong. The very first video had me both fearsome of what I was about to get into, but also very interested. Video after video, I became more terrorized of what I was witnessing, but all the more hooked. It was addicting (I also have reason to believe that it was around this time that I started to actually find some enjoyment out of being scared). And so, after many, many months of following the Slender Man's story, learning about his history and how his character has changed and evolved, I do believe that he has left a lasting mark on me. That mark is the fear I experience when I'm up late at night, not many lights are on, and I have no idea what is lurking in that darkness...watching me...

...I was trying to make that story sound all dramatic and stuff, if you didn't notice.

And...yeah, that's all I got for now. Stay radical people!

Hey!

I really can't take the Slenderman seriously any more, seeing as how they're just another mob on Minecraft now, who are weak to water nonetheless.

Guys. Guys. Check this out. It's this thing you can use to write papers, and it gives you pictures of kittens for every however many words you write. Writing stuff is so much better when there's kittens. Seriously. Kittens!

...But I just wasted time that I should have been writing by telling you about it, so I guess it has its drawbacks...

I don't know much about Slenderman, but I personally think BEN is awesome, especially in this image. But you probably wouldn't want to look at it since you already know it has BEN in it, huh?
I originally was going to post the actual image up, but considering how I managed to scare several people around my age with this image, I decided not to be that cruel. Don't blame me if you actually decide to click on it, though.

'Ello. I should be working. Again. But hey, a little break once in a while is okay, right? Right?
...
Anyway, I don't know how I live normally after reading/watching some creepy stuff in the middle of the night. I think I generally find something about the creepy stuff to make fun of, though. Either that, or I start thinking, "Well, nothing has happened to me before, so why should something happen now just because I've read/watched that?" Don't know if that will work for you, Poison, but it's a suggestion.

...I'm hungry.

Hey.

Ahhh, BEN. Good times. I tried to find him on Cleverbot, you know.

So, today was my 18th birthday! Normally, I have jazz band at night, but I was cryptically told by PurplePrincess a few days ago that I was not to go to go to jazz band. And that she had forgotten it was my birthday, and that there clearly wasn't a special day coming up. So I didn't go to jazz band, and instead two of my friends swung by to kidnap me ("THERE'S A GIANT ELEPHANT DOWNTOWN... WE ARE NOT JUST TRYING TO GET YOU OUT OF THE HOUSE SO PEOPLE CAN COME AND DECORATE IT") and then after we returned home ("WE MUST RETURN TO HOME BASE--IT'S NOT SAFE OUT HERE") and there were a bunch of people and they were all "SURPRISE" and I was all "FAKE SHOCK" and then there were festivities and food (and cake smeared on my face because I don't think I can go a party without having that happen to me) and it was amazing :) And also nerf gun wars! Those too!

And now it's 10:20 and I haven't started homework... oh well!

Oh god I remember BEN. I was around when the ARG first began. But since it was Summer I couldn't really participate because of work. Then I remember everything got kind of messed up. The poor guy didn't realize how popular the ARG was going to become. Obviously he underestimated the population of the Zelda fanbase, and the number of them who read creepypastas.

I actually typed to a hundred words on there just to see the kitten. I currently have nothing I need to write but I did it anyway.
And Silver I did the same exact thing. I was supposed to be writing the Lit paper for the previously mentioned kooky teacher but I flaked. Ended up writing it late last night and some of it this morning, since she wanted them in her mailbox by three. Turns out she didn't even read them so welp. :P

Aw, Saber that's so cute! Your friends sound like awesome people. How is PurplePrincess anyway?
