Hi! I got that traffic ticket taken care of yesterday. And by taken care of I mean I paid the thing because I really didn't have a choice. I ended up signing up for the drivers' school option to avoid getting points, but still have to pay the entire ticket plus $15 for the school.
Really the only good part about the whole thing was that I could take the drivers' course online. So I got that done as well. Talk about a waste of time. There were seven sections and each section had about three minutes of reading followed by 20 - 40 minutes of waiting for a time to count down (since you're supposed to spend four hours on the course). And in the end there was a test that anyone with a liscense could probably pass in their sleep. Pretty stupid, but definately better than wasting half a day on a driving range. But I did find it a bit annoying at the end when they ask how you want your completion certificate (which you need to present to the courthouse as proof that you passed the course) sent to you. Regular mail is free, with options for second day and overnight mail requiring an extra fee. That made sense. But if you want to get the certificate by e-mail that costs $10, just because it's the fastest method. Never mind that it actually costs the driving school less money since they don't have to print or mail anything. Good thing I'm in no real hurry to get my certificate.

I have something to share with all of you. Something that is an even bigger pile of bull**** than sopa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBVqm2W5 ... AAAAAAACAA Please watch this if you would. I find this ****** ridiculous. (pardon me if you would please) This takes sopa and gives it a four-loco and an of ounce cocaine. I can understand where they are coming from wanting to find a way to eradicate child pornography, but a blatant violation of privacy is not the answer. Besides just that I have a large lists of complaints over this, like the fact that the u.s. seems to be trying to claim ownership of the entire internet. This also has me quite a bit scared for a friend of mine who has a habit of pirating software over the internet. She has a habit of scaring me half to death.

Hi! Internet usage tracking? Everyone else already does it (Google, every single online advertising company, etc, etc, etc) so what's it matter if ISPs and the government do as well? Besides, that's really easy to get around. I'd have to look more into the details of the law to have a definite opinion but, just going off of what's said in the video, it's not nearly as bad as they're making it out to be. As for your friend, the government has much more important things to do than go after every person who torrents software (software companies might, but they'd need to get the evidence themselves). That said, I've very anti-piracy so, not to sound mean, but if your friend does get in trouble for it, it's her own fault.

Eh. I really think it's unnecessary for them to up security in that aspect - they already do all they need to, all it takes is a bit of effort on the part of the copyright holders to stop it. From what it sounds like, that bill will put a lot more pressure on one group, who just won't be able to go after everyone... but hey, all they had to do was take down Megaupload, and all other DDL sites took themselves down.
But anyway, the bill itself isn't actually nearly as offensive as the bit at the end. The FBI is telling Internet cafe users to report anyone that looks suspicious - and their definition of that is anyone who wants basic privacy. Which someone would kind of need if they were, say, checking a bank account or entering a password... And the flyer didn't highlight it as being because of cp or piracy - it's because they're terrorists. Lol what?

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.
I found this on the internet. Hm.
ANYWHO I'm on vacation. Except it doesn't feel like it because I was running around all day yesterday, and I'll be running around doing all sorts of stuff for the rest of the week, too. But right now I am on the internet petting my cat.
Yay.

Hi.
Well...I had a fun time today. Was on my way home on a 2.5 hour trip when about an hour into the trip, my passanger front tire decided to release all it's air at once. Well...great...having really never changed a tire often enough and the nuts on very tight I had a blast.
Two of them were on so tight i was almost stripping the nut but finally (with the use of the car jack) was able to loose them...only to find out that my spare was nearly flat. Lucky for me about 2 miles down the road was a gas station so driving bout 20 mph managed to get to the station, aired up the tire and made the 80 or so mile trip remaining going about 50 mph, 20 down back roads and when one took me over the the interstate (wasn't paying attention to where it was heading) finally just drove the rest of the way back via interstate at 50mph with my 4-way's on. Not a fun day. Got home about 2.5 hours later then i would of.

So I've been gone. Not too surprising, seeing as I'm fast approaching the end of my senior year. On the other hand, I've got quite the paper due tomorrow at midnight, and I'm really gonna have to push to get it in on time. "Me passing this class" depends on turning this in. UNFORTUNATELY, it turned out staying up late and brainstorming wasn't helping me like it used to. At all.
These weeks have not been the best weeks for me, but I'm gonna push through and turn this assignment in!
Also, going a few pages back, I watched the Battletoads race too, Grass. You should check out Jon in The Runaway Guys, too.

I've been going to this private school an hour away from my house. I have a three-page research paper due this week that I haven't even looked at. I'm screwed.
So how is everyone? It's been a while.

Hi! Welcome back, BFC!
I just heard that Kojima Productions will be hiring for quite a lot of positions, including game designers, at GDC! That's definately going to be my first stop.

This, my friend, has been my senior year. Squeezed it under the wire, though. My advice would be not to procrastinate, but it's a little late for that (and I'm not a shining example in this department), so my advice is to ask around. If your teacher is nice enough, they're likely to help by giving you an idea for a thesis. They'll understand. You're generally expected to slack off on research papers later in (school) life. At least, in my experience. And I grew up in the public school system, so...

Moi,
So, I was going to post something on Monday saying how I'm on break and other stuff, but my computer decided it had enough of the internet for one day and would not respond to me. Lovely, isn't it?
Well, not much has gone on since then. I've just been relaxing and sleeping and such.
Although, I have noticed something that has annoyed me a bit. It's when people say something "literally" happened when they're just trying to make a point. I've decided that instead of giving the whole "literally means that something actually happened, and you should only use it when what you're talking about something that actually happened" speech, I'll just go along with them, and assume that they are actually serious when they say "literally." It should lead to some very interesting future conversations.
That's all I got for now. Stay radical people!
