Yuki waited a moment longer, eyes once again as unreadable as ever, before glancing to Mewtwo. The way Heero was standing before them, looking to both human and Pokemon, without saying a word made it appear that the trainer hadn't heard him. At that thought, Yuki telepathically conversed with Mewtwo, asking what he thought about the matter, and didn't respond when the Pokemon agreed. "Hard on hearing, are you?" Yuki inquired, his voice as soft and flat as when he first spoke to Heero.

Mewtwo, disinterested in this conversation though registering that it was turning into a sardonic one, mumbled telepathically to Yuki that they were tied again before pointedly showing he lost interest and feigning a yawn. That done, he settled back a bit more, tail removed from around Yuki's shoulders and wrapped neatly around himself, before shutting his eyes. Wake me up when the meeting is over. Both chuckled telepathically at that, their entire conversation remaining unheard by uninvited listeners, as they knew Mewtwo would never manage any sleep in such a troublesome place. There were humans here so the Genetic Pokemon couldn't afford to fall asleep.

While Mewtwo feigned the appearance of sleep, Yuki decided that he would repeat himself and so tilted head ever so slightly, possibly appearing a bit arrogant. "I am human to Mewtwo, and that's cute of you to want to battle." Whether or not Heero heard that wouldn't matter as far as Mewtwo or Yuki were concerned. Both had lost interest in what the human before them had to say, so Yuki removed his attention from Heero and back to the carvings on the wall behind him. To his unfelt disappointment, the story depicted on the wall was one he already knew and he quickly felt his interest in the drawings wane.

(Ok, after reading all the posts, here's what I came up with.)

*Down below at the baseball field*

"Ok, Let's play ball!!!!"
The game had offically begun, the teams were designiating positions and Vinity was chosen as the starter pichter fro the Hoenn Rayquazas.

"Ok, let's get it going, first pitch coming up!"

The cheering could be heard from all the way across Spear Pillar.

The game had started and in the 5th inning, Vinity had a perfect game going for him in the first game...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Back at Spear Pillar*

Arceus was upset to say the least, he did not know who his partner was. Now, normally he would be able to teleport him/her to Spear Pillar, but due to the fact that he had no idea, this was not possible. He arrived in his usual grand flare, and waited for the meeting to start.

(( Wow, and I was starting to think that this forum was fairly active! No worries, I'll try to get something started while I wait for Lydia to respond to Maïa. I SWEAR THIS IS THE LAST TIME WE HEAR FROM CRIMSON UNTIL THE MEETING GUYS O.o ))

Quietly, cheering echoed across the Spear Pillar. Crimson silently meandered to the edge to find the source: a baseball game near the base of Mt. Coronet. He recalled seeing the field being set up on his way to the Pillar, and quietly wondered if the locale and time of the match was deliberate; before he could think much further, another Pokémon appeared.

This new Pokémon was large, impressive, dignified, and regal, with an aura of dominance around it; and Crimson somehow already understood that this was the Spear Pillar's master, Arceus. But one thing caught his eye: Arceus was present without a Trainer. Perhaps it was too important a Pokémon to desire a Trainer, or perhaps the Trainer was already here; he even entertained the amusing thought of the Trainer being at the baseball game, and Arceus, perhaps due to a love of the sport, refrained from pausing the match. Crimson himself never paid much attention to conventional sports, simply because they never struck his fancy; the only 'sport' he had ever played was Pokémon battling, which, as he heard, was being discussed at the Spear Pillar as well. He considered heading over and battling with them after the meeting; hopefully, he thought, it would help break the ice.

(( Now post peeps! :-D ))

(Thank you Blivsey, you made my post relevant)
(Ok, so since Arceus is waiting, I'll advance Vinity's part a fair bit, becuase it needs to be advanced)

It's the final pitch, if Vinit...I mean K kid can get this out, he will have all perfect games going into the final!

Wouldn't that be something?

Yes, it sure would be.

The announcers voices were out of Vinity's head, he had thrown two perfect games and on the verge of a third, he got the call and wound up...

He winds up... throws and he.........WHIFFS AT THE KNUCKLER and with that fine show of pitching, the Rayquazas advance to the Finals!

Wow, what a career for this young kid today.

The team charged the dugout as they were heading to the finals.

The crowd shouted "K Kid" K Kid" repeately, and it could be heard easily at Spear Pillar

The finals will coming your way very soon, and according to legend, it will be at the same time as the legendary meeting so stay tuned!

Vinity was happy! He was going to be the best pitcher ever! He couldn't wait!

((My head's kinda fuzzy and I might have a fever, so I apologize in advance if there're some sentences that just don't make sense... but I felt I needed to post anyways.))

Lydia listened eagerly, nodding enthusiastically at all the approriate moments (and then some). "Well, you don't have to be lonely anymore, because you have buddies now!" With that, she dashed forward and gave Arian a quick hug. Just as she stepped back from the embrace, she noticed the smaller girl.

"Oh, hi!" said Lydia, a large smile on her face. "I am superfantasticsplendid awesome! How about you?"

Not far off, Ho-oh emitted a sound similar to a grunt. Yes, my child is having issues keeping her side of the link closed... as a result, I get bombarded with thousands upon thousands of thoughts. How the child has not gone mad yet, I do not know. If she always thinks at that pace, it's a wonder she doesn't burn herself out. Why, any normal human--

Ho-oh was cut short as the ground shook slightly. Slightly annoyed, he turned his head toward the entrance. About time they showed up, he remarked, more to himself than anyone else.

Soon after, two figures emerged into the light of Spear Pillar. One, a human, had his hands in his pockets, and his his head turned to the side in a casual yet aloof manner. The other, a pokemon, stood over ten feet tall and gleamed a ruby red.

"It's hard to travel with a large pokemon who can't fly,"
was all Xavier said as he entered. No apology for being late, no further explanation. Ignoring all the other trainers, he and Groudon strode to the opposite end of Spear Pillar and waited for the meeting to begin.

Liz continued to chat with Kai until she suddenly gazed upon the giant ruby red Pokemon, Groudon. Her jaw dropped and stared at it, as well as Enchantress and Latias.

Heero ignored Yuki and turned around facing the age of the Spear Pillar, glancing once at Xavier and his enormous Groudon. "Hm, a Groudon. What an interesting surprise in this meeting." He said silently to himself and to Latios through telepathy. "This guy seems to look somewhat like me, only much taller and older." Heero thought. He wasn't impressed by Groudon too much, but was mildly surprised he was seeing the legendary right now.

"Don't get too full of yourself, Heero. Groudon, just like Mewtwo, is on a totally different level from every other legendary here." Latios said to Heero.

"Doesn't look at all strong to me, Latios. No trainer here other than I actually knows what they're doing." Heero said to Latios back via telepathy.

"I dreeam many thingsss" Jirachi turned her head slightly, "The Millennium Star approaches, and I dream of a storm is coming." She said sleepily in reply to Mewtwo's question.
Vesper was about to speak when another guy came up and challenged Yuki to a battle.
He nodded to the two boys and went around introducing himself to the other trainers as Jirachi greeted the other lengendary's.

"Um, the first time we saw each other I was traveling through Johto, collecting badges. I was curious about the Lake of Rage and the red Gyarados there. I specialize in water type pokemon so I couldn't resist seeing them for myself. But I didn't listen to the warnings and went out onto the lake in a row boat. A gyarados tipped it over and attacked me. Suicune saved me and took me back to shore. Before I could thank it, Suicune was gone. It wasn't until several years later when I was fifteen that I encountered Suicune again. But it was a short encounter like the last time until most recently."

Kai smiled at Suicune and ran a hand down its neck.

"I'm lucky Suicune saved me. None of my pokemon were strong enough to protect me against a pokemon like gyarados at the time. If it were to happen now, I'd probably be safe, but at the time I was considered just an average trainer. Even now I don't think I'm anything all that special."

((TERRIBLY SORRY! Lately, I've been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to get everything done, so I haven't really had the time! Well, right now I don't really have the time either, but it's RP week so GOSH DARN IT I'LL MAKE TIME!))

As the pokemon and trainers continued to mill about, the chiming of a crystalline bell rang out through the air. The floor seemed to shimmer, and a pool of light appeared at the center of the clearing. Moments later, coloured beams extended from the center pool, creating a circle with many coloured edges.

Xavier seemed to pay no mind as the ground around him and Groudon began to glow a deep crimson that matched the colour of the large pokemon's skin. Nearby, Lydia stood transfixed in wonder (excidedly muttering under her breath possible theories of what was going on), her eyes flicking from colour to colour.

Her giddy thoughts were interupted by a message from Ho-oh. Child... come. The meeting is about to begin. Lydia glanced over to see Ho-oh standing on a patch that seemed to be constantly shifting colours. The transition was so smooth, however, it was remarkably hard to tell. Still pondering this, she dashed over to the large bird.

As Lydia looked around, she noticed that the air seemed to shimmer, too. Not the air inside the circle, however, but the air outside the coloured ring. It was as if they were all in some sort of large, invisible bubble. Reading her thoughts, Ho-oh replied, It's to prevent any non-Legendaries and non-Legends from entering during the meeting. Spear Pilliar holds a lot of power--that's why we are able to hold meetings here. Almost as an afterthought, he added, It also makes the powers of Legendaries stronger. In the past, there have been many formidable battles here.

Lydia frowned slightly and examined the circle. The beings who stood on it--both human and pokemon--were extremely diverse. It really was quite a gathering. She glanced over at her buddy ("buddy" was much more suitable a name than Arian) and flashed him a quick grin. Just as she was about to wave, Ho-oh began to speak.

Well met, all. Despite the fact that his words still resounded in her head, she could tell that this was an amplified message that could reach everyone. Not to mention, it was much clearer than usual. Since we have last met, I've found my new partner, he said, with a nod at Lydia. She took this as a cue to wave to everyone. I've been patrolling the skies for danger around Johto, but I have neglected to see anything wrong going on.

Figures.

A deep, growling and rumbling voice traveled through Lydia's head. She looked momentarlily confused, but she noticed that Ho-oh was now looking at Groudon, and she turned her head to follow his. I beg your pardon?

You'll see nothing from the sky. Illegal teams operate underground. You're oblivious, old bird.

"I've battled many trainers from many Teams. They're still moving. They know a lot," Xavier said, seemingly more interested in his gloves than the other people around. "I do believe I spotted Thalia amongst Rocket's ranks..."

At this comment, a crack of lightning was heard, and a teenaged girl standing beside Zapdos bristled with rage. "WHAT?!" she demanded. "That's... THAT'S ABSURD! How dare you?!"

Thalia wasn't the only one to react violently. Lydia's head was soon filled with angry thoughts from all sorts of Legendaries, not to mention her ears were filled with the shouts of angry Legends.

Though Ho-oh seemed to remain calm, Lydia could feel that he was enraged. Well, he remarked sardonically to her, This is already going remarkably well.

((PS Partners of Legendaries are called Legends... not sure if I remembered to mention that, but that's why the RP title is as it is :P

Also... Thalia won't be a recurring character for me, or anything, so guys can control her for a bit if you want. She's just kind of an irritable, tempremental girl who apparently has Team Rocket ties.))

((Don’t worry about it, Saber. Life comes first. For that matter, I didn’t have the inspiration nor the motivation to come up with a new post for a while, even after Mandi reminded me that it was RP week. Eheheh… Finally could dish something out, though.))

“Lame excuse,” Raine muttered to Celebi, eyeing Xavier with an expression that suggested both distaste and amusement toward the male. “Sure, you can fly, but you can’t carry me, and we still got here in time. All we did was leave early. Not too difficult, right?” If she had been expecting a response, such as a laugh or chiding, she was sorely disappointed. Celebi seemed not to hear her comment. Instead, the time-traveler was watching Groudon with a thoughtful frown on her face.

At the sudden chime of the bell, however, the Pokemon snapped out of her reverie. Oh, it is time for the meeting to begin. With that, the fairy-like Pokemon started forward, only to stop short when she noticed that her human wasn’t following. Raine? Why aren’t you- Oh, not again.
She shook her head in exasperation. Just as the young woman had been when she had first entered the area, Raine was watching her surroundings with a sign of surprise and fascination on her face. The silly Trainer even went as far as to kneel on the ground, one finger tracing over the one of the many colored edges. With a small sigh, Celebi yanked on her hair gently.

Raine? The meeting?

“Alright, alright, I’m coming.” Looking as if she would rather continue kneeling in that same spot, the brunette stood, hands absentmindedly dusting off her clothes. With visible reluctance, she followed Celebi to the forest guardian’s spot. Her eyes narrowed slightly when Celebi suddenly dropped onto her shoulder as a perch, but otherwise, made no sign of protest. As Ho-oh initiated the meeting, Celebi’s baby blue eyes immediately locked onto the figure of phoenix, listening with rapt attention. Contrary to her partner, Raine began picking at her fingernails, not even glancing at the speaker. In truth, she was just as attentive as Celebi was. Only when Groudon suddenly cut in did the Trainer deigned to look up.

Oh dear. Celebi’s wings fluttered anxiously at the insults thrown at the Rainbow Pokemon. I was afraid of this. The time-traveler cringed even more at Xavier’s words; clearly, this meeting was off to a bad start.

She could hear a slight scoff from her partner. Even without looking, she could sense that whatever amusement her human had before had just evaporated. “Hey, can I say something?”

The whispered question gave Celebi a bit of a pause; she herself generally spoke only when she felt it was necessary, and Raine wasn’t exactly known for being the most polite human in existence. Nevertheless, when her partner called her name and prodded her for an answer, she relented.

Just try not to be rude, came the consent. At the order, Raine merely rolled her eyes once more before straightening herself up.

“Pardon me,” the brunette called out, attempting to lock gazes with Xavier. As several of the Legendaries were protesting loudly, she had to practically yell in order to be heard. “That seems to be quite an accusation. Have you had any proof to back up your words, good sir? At the obvious sarcasm dripping from the final two words, Celebi winced in horror, whipping her head around to glare reproachfully at her partner.

Are you trying to make an enemy out of him? she demanded in their private connection. Raine merely smirked in response and gave a small shrug, trying not to jostle too much. The amusement that had appeared back in her amber eyes gave one simple answer: “maybe”.

Yuki and Mewtwo, having relaxed a bit now that they were finally being left alone again, the two returned to their unheard conversation. They were discussing how the the storm would be played out, each detail thoroughly enjoyed as it was conjured in mind, when they bothered to think about how an abrupt storm hovering over specifically Yuki's tool shed would raise some eyebrows. Neither thought of the problem being much of a big deal, though it was apparent between them that neither would think anything of it.

I still say we should just- To their annoyance and relief, he had been interrupted by the chiming of a bell. The pair would continue the discussion later - this being agreed upon without a word being passed between them in any form, and both human and Pokemon removed themselves from the wall to step into their respective circle of grayish-purple light. Luckily it was only a step away, as it always was, and the pair entered just in time to hear the discussion starting. Here's to another meeting for boredom, save the fact trainers are present. Yuki announced for only Mewtwo to hear, as it was a private thought, which earned him an imperceptible nod from the feline-like legendary.

Just like my appearances to these futile meetings, I rarely speak. The psychic legendary glanced down at his human counterpart briefly. Before their eyes could meet, Mewtwo's attention turned to Raine as the girl's sarcasm rang clearly in Mewtwo's ears despite the bothersome ruckus others of the meeting were making. Someone has a sharp tongue. There was a quiet scoff of dull amusement from beside him making the Pokemon to frown. Someone else have something to say? Of course both knew that Mewtwo was talking about Yuki which made the teen shrug indifferently.

After a short silence of the pair feigning interest in the potential problems of their being Rockets here, Yuki replied. You approve. As Mewtwo considered this, the trainer turned his attention to Xavier to study the other male for a moment. Apparently satisfied with his observations, Yuki's interest then shifted to Raine to study her instead. The meeting was off to a swimming start thanks to the outbursts of Groudon and his oh-so-inspiring human-partner. Impulsively, Yuki spoke.

"Teams are still moving. Obvious remarks, certainly, but that's generally how a conversation is started, isn't it? If the start isn't something to do with the weather, it's something to do with the Teams."

Crimson quietly marveled at the events occurring around him; the blend of vibrant hues gave him a feel of awakening: the meeting was bound to start soon. As he wondered what being was supplying the spectacle, a ripple in his mind alerted him to Shaymin. He turned to see her surrounded by-

"Flowers? Didn't think it possible, what with the whole 'stone' thing," he quipped, wandering over to, and sitting in, Shaymin's impromptu flowerbed.

Crimson was in his element. He and Shaymin were practically made for each other; Crimson protected Shaymin in a way only he could and Shaymin was, conveniently, a portable garden. Though Crimson knew that they were, indeed, destined partners, he still was grateful for it.

"The aura of light augments my power." Crimson could feel Shaymin's pure contentment. "And to be fair, the stones here have taken in soil over time, and it doesn't take me much to make them fertile," she added humbly.

Shaymin said nothing more, and neither did he; although his mind was running with excitement, the two had both agreed not to read each other's thoughts too carelessly. Privacy was something each treasured highly, and each had their share of secrets, even kept from each other. Although, Crimson could tell there was much more on Shaymin's mind than flowers; and to be fair, there was much more on HIS mind than flowers, as well...

As the meeting began, Jessica follows mew onto what seemed to be their spot. She still wasn't entirely sure what was going on. She had just wanted to find the rare pokémon she remembered from her childhood. This whole thing was quite a lot more than she bargained for.

As Ho-Oh began to talk, Jessia studied the giant bird. She was much more interested in its type, ability, and attacks than what it was saying. It seemed like a bit of a waste. A gathering of trainers and some of the most powerful pokémon in existance and here they were having a meeting? They should be having an epic battle or a race or something...

Mew seemed to similarily disinterested in the procedings and bobbed up and down in the air infront of her, turning the occasional flip to keep itself entertained. It did stop for a moment at the mention of Team Rocket and Jessica felt a strong sense of dislike radiating for the normally cheerful pokémon. But, a moment later, mew returned to its aeriel tricks.

Jessica didn't know a lot about Team Rocket, though she had heard the name. She supposed they were similar to Team Galactic, who had cause a lot of trouble in her home region a while back. But, from what she could remember, both teams had been disbanded or broken up or something like that.

But evil teams really didn't interest her too much. At least so long as they didn't bother her or her friends, so she turned her attention back to studying the different legendaries.

Arceus wanted to talk to some of the Legends, but never got the chance as he had arrived too late, and the meeting started almost as soon as he had arrived. There was a lot of screaming and talk about evil teams, but none of it really intrested Arceus since theTeam that had threatned the balance in Sinnoh had in one word: vanished. They had not been seen for a while, so it was not much concern to Arceus. He tried , while the screaming was going on, to unsucessfully contact his missing legend, but alas, no luck as usual. So, he gave the mental command or question "Can we please get the hello's and screams out of the way, so we can actually start this meeting?
