Why Son Goku of DBZ is NOT the strongest Anime Character
Re: Why Son Goku of DBZ is NOT the strongest Anime Character
Having not read the manga yet, I can't really comment on that. Though even so, I find it hard to believe that she'd be strong enough to beat Goku. But until I actually read the manga, that's all I have to say on the matter.

If we want to raise this to a magical girl battle, I'm all for claiming that Nanoha would win. Questionable how a battle with Goku would be though.

I haven't seen Nanoha yet, so I'll stay out of this. But going off what I've seen of the Sailor Moon anime so far (in the middle of S), I think I could probably beat Sailor Moon provided she was by herself, so I have no trouble believing that she'd lose to Nanoha.

Once again, I said in a couple posts before that manga Sailor Moon was the one I was comparing Goku to. Goku would have no problem destroying the whole universe of the anime Sailor Moon (R, S, SuperS, Stars), and I'm admitting that right now to prove I'm not biased against him. I think Krillin can do it, in fact.
Manga Sailor Moon is just on an all-new level of power. Even I, one of the biggest Sailor Moon fans you'll meet, thinks that Naoko Takeuchi made her franchise too powerful. Just based on feats from the Sailor Moon manga, I would say Sailors Moon, Saturn, and Galaxia would defeat Goku, probably even Vegito.
Which reminds me, I really need to reread Sailor Moon, it's been awhile now.
Also, as for Nanoha, I'm in the club who hasn't watched it yet, too. I find it hard to believe that she can beat Goku from what I've heard of her. Though Colly can still list her powers and feats, we may have a debate, though it will be much harder against Goku.

I think you're doing "feats" wrong. Like, really wrong. You can't just say, "This character did this so they're super powerful" all the time. There's situations, man. Like... Goku moves the moon using pure muscle. Yay, he's super strong! Sailor Moon moves the moon... well yeah, she IS the moon. No big deal. That doesn't mean anything about her actual power level. To be honest, there's a lot of moments like "Aang is in Avatar State now he can do anything" that I don't count as actual evidence of power levels. It was all for dramatic purposes, you tell them to do it again and they can't. Either that or it'll be plot device'd away... It's so inconsistent at times like that, they really shouldn't count when you're just trying to sort out who's actually more powerful.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I believe Goku can do most of what he does several times. He can perhaps punch somebody through a mountain or blow up the moon several times if he wanted to. It's been done several times throughout DB I've lose count... As for Sailor Moon, she can transform whenever she wants, really, and do what she does in her form of (SPOILER) Sailor Moon, just like the Super Saiyan.
(Boy, I'm getting tired of using DBZ examples.) Other than the Spirit Bomb, really, DBZ has been so repetitive in the action. Their feats really can be repeated several times. It's usually, if not always, beating the enemy with a super ki blast or something.
I agree with Silver that most characters only do stuff in dramatic moments, but what he means is that doesn't really apply to all characters. I don't see Naruto growing 9 tails whenever he needs it, but Goku can turn Super Saiyan upon will. Unless you have a different point that is.
