Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey...
I'm dissapearing for a while once again. Recently, I had to help two friends through their breakups with their boyfriends. It was probably one of the most dramatic moments in my life ever, they were crying so much and I felt terrible for them. Not only that, I've been thinking a lot my life all-in-all, there's been so much I had to deal with, but I've been rather distracted by anime, the internet, and video games. I'm putting the blame on that because I know most of the violent anime I've been watching lately had made me feel more insecure in a number of ways. Life has its responsibilities is all I'm saying, and I need to take a break from lots of the things I like so I can put more emphasis on what's been going on.
Plus, I've been working hard to get into another relationship. But after helping two girls through their breakups, it's just so hard to right now because I'm afraid I'll become a heartbreaker... Sometimes I get envious of people who are in relationships around me, because sometimes I really wish I had somebody to love right now. But of course, I'm trying to get over my envy, too, I know it's a sin. I also know I have God and many great friends beside me, but somehow it's hard to realize that because of all the distractions around me.
Thanks to everyone on the forum who nominated me for the nicest forum member! I'll see you again in a while.

Hi! Good luck, Metal.
We had a huge duststorm here last night. So huge that they had to temporarily shut down the airport. Of course, I had the blinds down so I didn't notice it until it started messing with the power lines, at which point I went outside to take a look. It was pretty impressive. But everything is fine now, if a bit dirty.
I took a look at the Kingdom of Loathing site. Looks like it could be amusing. I may give it try in the not too distant future if I have some time spare.

Hi, friends!
Ugh, stop being stupid, Puyon, why the heck did you almost call everyone firends?
I actually just heard about that duststorm thing, I only heard of it when I learned that you were affected by it. Ugh, summertime, it makes me sleep in so that I don't watch the 7 o'clock AM news. Stop being stupid, Puyon.
Which I have to wake up early tomorrow. Yaay. I guess that I COULD set an alarm. But this phone of mine... *tries to press accept text* *phone restarts* Uggh, I don't want to know what other buggy things it might do.

That awkward moment when all your attachments just die.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I pay a lot less attention to the news than I used to. Got tired of all the stories about celebrities. Now I skim the top headlines when I check my e-mail and that's about it unless I see something I want to know more about.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Ugh. Work and lot's of it. Not a bad job, a pretty good one actually. It's just the odd hours.
My bro's playing at the Stone Pony in a little bit. At first I was bummed because I was told he was going to be going on at 7:30, but I was working until 8. I was afraid I was gonna miss his band. Then I get the news that it's at 9 so I'm like, okay, I can go to the Pony in my work clothes
.
Then a giant rainstorm came and everyone was sent home early. Yay! So I had plenty of time to get ready, and we still don't have to leave yet :D.
Been raining a lot here recently. But not that I'm complaining. It means I get to sit around and play cards and read and get paid for it
. Not so great on my days off, though. But, you take what you can get.

Ah yes, New Jersey has been seeing quite a lot of rain lately. At Burger King, our traffic doesn't necessarily change in the rain, but we get more people in Drive Thru rather than those that come in to eat. This is annoying, because Drive Thru orders are timed where as Eat In orders are not. So if someone has to wait three minutes on their Cheeseburger eating in, it's no big deal! But if they have to wait three minutes for a Cheeseburger in Drive Thru the manager will have our head.
I feel bad for a friend of ours that works at a movie theater though. All the Bennys with their "I'm on vacation so I'm more important than you!" attitudes can't go to the beach on rainy days, so they attack the movie theater instead. And I do mean "Attack", if not outright "rape".

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.
It's stories of obnoxious people that reminds me why I work in a building where I never get to see any natural light, filing things for hours on end. Totally worth it to avoid the people. I could never survive in a job that involved interaction with a lot of people. People are scary. Sometimes I worry that they might try and eat me.
Ooh, and today, I had to work a lot with a cabinet that was wicked high up, so I had to use a stool.... let me tell you, standing on a stool for an hour and a half really makes your legs feel funny, since you can't move them or you'll fall.
SO SO a new frozen yogurt store opened downtown (we haven't had an ice cream place downtown in a couple years--our old one closed) a few days ago and I checked it out today and it's EPIC!!! So, what you do, is you just grab a cup/bowl/thing, and it's SELF-SERVE! You just go up to the different flavour-labels, pull a lever, and FRO-YO COMES OUT! They measure the cost in weight (and it is expensive, but it's healthy fro-yo in an affluent town where we have no other ice cream options--of course they're gonna gouge us), so you can mix AS MANY FLAVOURS AS YOU WANT with AS MUCH AS YOU WANT (SO much self-discipline was required to not get all the flavours in large amounts, because I knew that would end poorly). And, you can have as many toppings as you want, too! It's all just measured in weight! The trick is to get toppings with a low density. >:) Anyway, I decided the place is epic. So much flavours. Even pomegranate (my favourite fruit~) flavour! I wasn't in a fruity mood, though, so I ended up with Brownie Batter/Chocolate/Strawberry with some Twix bars and strawberries on top... my dad got Mango/Pistachio/Some other fruit that I'm forgetting with Twix bars and coconut on top... SO FREAKING GOOD I LOVE THIS PLACE I'M GOING TO LOSE ALL MY MONEY HERE BUT IT'LL BE WORTH IT THAT'S WHY I WORK ANYWAYS!

Hi! They've had yogurt places like that in Phoenix for years (they're everywhere here and easily out number ice cream parlors). Guess they're finally starting to spread back East.

...I have never even heard of places like this before. Why don't we have any? I want one. Stupid Baskin Robins/Carvel/Rita's and their monopoly of the East Coast. Especially you, Rita's. Your stuff's so expensive and it doesn't even taste that good. You suck. At least Carvel has a cool Sprinkle Tower.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
This is what the place looks like, essentially. The seating looks cool and all, but it's kind of impractical; there were a bunch of people standing around yesterday because the funky seats don't allow for too much seating. But I'm totally going back today since Tango's getting back from camp and she hasn't been there yet! MORE FRO-YO!
Anywho, I played tennis again with my dad yesterday. I'm getting better! I hit it in the majority of the time! Yay!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I think those type of yogurt places started in Phoenix (interesting fact: Cold Stone started here as well) and are just starting to spread outside or Arizona. My home town in Colorado just go its first one about a month back. Personally, I like ice cream better than frozen yogurt, but they're still pretty good.

Hey, It sure is hot up here in Canada! Yeah, I know, the land of igloos actually gets hot! Well, not as hot as Arizona, but still up there, i am not used to the heat, I sometimes, as today, get nauseated, but luckily it passed as soonas I went inside, i fell much better, but I thin ki might want stay inside today.
I thought Snivy was a grass version of Cyndaquil, that's the reason for my nickname, oh yeah check out my Youtube channel, grassaquilUV. (easy to remember, isn't it?)

Moi,
I, personally, like ice cream better the frozen yogurt. A reason for that might be that I never really got into it. I don't really know of any places within a reasonable biking radius that sell frozen yogurt. We do have an Abbotts though, and it's less then a mile away. My parents are pretty fine with me biking down there, so, frozen custard any time I want! / have the money for it.
Blah, I'm up early (6:47am)...for no reason either. I fell asleep watching "Through the Wormhole" last night and woke up with a bit of a sore muscle. I'm also not that happy right now because either my dad or mom ate the last slice of pizza...and it was really good pizza to. Classic New York style.
(Oh, to anyone who remembers hearing that Palin and Trump met in New York city a while ago and had some "classic" New York pizza...it was not classic New York pizza. They went to some Albanian chain called 'Famiglia'. Also Trump stacked his pizza, cheese to crust, and ate his pizza with a fork! A Fork! That's not how you eat New York style pizza! He disrespected all New Yorkers...Although, seeing Jon Stewart's [host of "The Daily Show"] reaction (some bad language in it >w>) makes me a little bit happier.)
*A-hem* anyway....time to find some food, then...do...something...yeah.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
I thought I liked ice cream better... but then I had this place's fro-yo, and it really didn't taste any worse than ice cream to me! Plus, it's my only ice cream option without driving 10 minutes... so I'm good :P
In other news, yesterday we picked up Tango from camp, dropped her off at her friend's vacation home, and then went to look at Dartmouth! And I do mean "look at," since all we did was walk around campus. No formal tour, or anything. However, I was wearing my E = Fb shirt (though mine's black with white letters) and we saw so many college kids (Dartmouth has a summer semester for sophmores as a bonding experience, or something) looking at it and then, once we passed, remarking about how cool it was. I decided people who think that music nerd shirts are cool are awesome people. Plus, the campus is beautiful. The whole "getting into this college" part might prove to be a bit tricky, though, but, eh. I'll worry about that later. First, gotta check out the academics at that place, 'cos that's the most important thing to me... it's just an added bonus that the people seem to be cool, and that the location is really, really nice.

Hi! They're showing the Trigun movie at a theater near here. While part of me things a regular $7 ticket is a bit much for a 30 minute movie, I'm still totally going.
