Hey.

On the note of grammar: If you're changing thoughts, you should use a period. For example, in your previous post, it should be "Thanks guys, I really appericate that. In other news, I have my very own choolate lab puppy." I still personally have issues with comma overruse (whenever I send a short story to my friend for her to proofread, she's always like "Still using commas like crazy, huh?" which makes me go "Yeah...."), but I've been working on it more lately. A lot of the places where I overruse commas is personal-preference stuff. It's not TECHNICALLY incorrect, but the fact that every time I hit a spot that makes me go "to put a comma or not to put a comma... that is the question" I end up adding a comma anyways tends to make my writing comma heavy.

Now that I'm done with that little rant, today my dad and I were watching Wimbledon and I offhandidly asked if we could go play tennis (I haven't touched a racket in at least seven years) because me and Tango have decided we're gonna learn how to play this summer. My dad said we could go to the courts at school and see if they were open, which they were, so we went and.... well, I'm not sure if what I did counts as PLAYING tennis, but we hit the ball back and forth! My main issue is I hit it long most of the time... that ball is so freaking light! It was a lot of fun, though!

Hey everyone!

I missed you guys, it's been about a month since I've been here. :P I've been quite busy with summer homework and another forum I'm active on, but it's good to check back here once in a while. Hope everybody is doing alright! Peace out!

I believe the trope you're looking for is Wanton Cruelty To The Common Comma. Don't worry Grass, you're grammar will improve in time. Trust me, most of us sucked at grammar when we first got here and now look at us! Under Silver's tutelage, we're fairly decently almost competent the English language!

Also, I have very recently gotten Civilizations IV and V. These games are really interesting and I want to like them, I really do, but I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. If anyone knows how to play, can someone please help me?

Hey!

Still working on the summer homework, I got a ton of it compared to last year... Plus, I'm making a few drastic changes in life right now, due to what's been going on, so I may just be using the internet less and less these days. Hope everyone else is okay, though! Peace out!

Greetings Mina!

I had an awesome weekend. I got to spend a lot of time with my bestie. She's really more like a sister to me. I didn't do as well at the yugioh nats as I would have liked too, but the deck i ran I put together a week ago and was still pretty inconsistant. Also everyone there is pretty serious. Had an awesome nerdy dinner to at wagagmama. And I got an Awesome Yugi/Dark Magician/Dark Magican Girl Playmat. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! ^_^

In other new's, I'm now pretty broke after big weekend. Looking forwards to tax return so I can get everything I need for the wedding that I haven't got already.

Happy 4th, everybody!

I'm going to the local fair with some friends tonight, and it's gonna be quite a blast, plus the fireworks. Until then, I'm working a little on some fanfictions I've been working on over the past month, so that will keep me quite occupied. Other than that, peace out!

Moi!

Happy 4th of July people! I'm probably going to sleep until nightfall (didn't get any sleep last night, and woke up at 8:00 pm yesterday.), go to watch the fireworks downtown near/on the bridge, then stay awake all night...again. And, sometime when I'm awake, I'll eat hotdogs for at least two meals. A tradition for most New Yorkers on the 4th of July. I'm hoping this year, I'll get to light stuff on fir- Uhh...I mean...play with some sparklers and roast some s'mores! Yeah...

Anyway, I've got to get some sleep. Staying awake all night is not good for the brain...unless it becomes a normal pattern. Then it's okay. G'Night...ehhh...Morning...whatever...*Falls asleep at keyboard*

Hi! I saw the new X-Men movies yesterday. It was pretty good, though the air conditioner in the theater died so it got pretty hot in there... On the bright side, I got a free ticket for a future movie.

Hope everyone is having a good holiday. I'm just hanging out and reading all those new Pokémon Adventures books I got yesterday. Then some friends are coming over later and we're going to play games, grill stuff, and watch the fireworks.

My 4th of July plans got completely ruined due to a thunderstorm which suddenly hit our city. *sigh* If they cancel the fireworks, too, I won't be very happy...

Had some crazy thunderstorms yesterday here. Well, in the day they were pretty sporadic. It wasn't until nighttime that it really got crazy.

Finally got to spend a day on the beach with the fam. So today was good :)

Gonna have a barbecue later.

To all my fellow Americans, Happy Independence Day! And to everyone else...Happy Indivisible Day!

...I just looked it up.

Hey.

Our town decideds it's a cool idea to have fireworks on the 3rd, so I saw those yesterday! As usual, it was a nice show of thousands of dollars blowing up in the air and injuring the ozone! But, in all seriousness, I do enjoy the fireworks. I just can't help but think as each brightly-coloured explosion assaults my retinas, thousands of dollars have just gone boom!

Anyway, I get work off tomorrow, which is nice... and I should really get working on my AP Chem and AP BC Calc assignments... I read one of the three books for my AP English class (Einstein's Dreams, and I absolutely loved it. Favourite book English class has forced me to read), so I think I've made enough progress on that assignment :P

Hi! I had fun last night. A couple friends came over and we ate, played a bunch of games of Buzz, and watched the fireworks. There were even a few fireworks that looked just like pokéballs, except the colors were wrong.

Hey.

So, I found this cool online game called Kingdom of Loathing a while ago... it's basically just plain ridiculousness. Fight stuff, level up... but no fancy animations or anything, just funny text. Like, wicked funny stuff if you just take the time to read. And puzzles, which are always fun. Anywho, if anyone here wanted to play, that'd be cool. I could toss you some free stuff to get you started, if you wanted.

Other than that, one of my friends is back from India! Tomorrow is her only full day here, and on Thurs she's boarding a plane for England. Stupid people and their "having fun during the summer." Not fair.
