Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Today is looking to be a pretty exciting day since I'm going to...THE POST OFFICE. Ok, maybe it's not that exciting. Yesterday wasn't bad though. I had some errands to run that took my by the movie theater so I decided to see Cars 2. Cars was never one of my favorite Pixar movies but 2 was fun. Kinda Cars meets James Bond.

Hey.
So, my after school job of filing things at a chemistry company has turned into a 9-2 job, five days a week. Whee. Today was my first day working those hours.

Greetings Earthlings and other lifeforms.
Kaida hasn't got much going on. Kaida has work and is having fun with wedding plans.
Kaida's excited for weekend, she has her bestie visiting (whom lives 600km's away, no idea how many miles that is and can't be bothered to find out) along with some other friends. Their coming to visit also for the Yugioh Nationals. We've decided to go out for dinner, it went from about 5-6 people to now 10-11 late teens/young adult geeks who play childrens card games attacking a Japanese Restaurant for dinner. ^_^ I'm Excited. Also debating on weather or not to wear a pink wig to the nationals. ^_^
That's all for now. Oh and Kaida shouldn't be allowed to have a deep fryer. It makes it to easy for her to have chips in the middle of the night.

Hi! Sounds like fun, Kaida. I was never able to do to any of the regional Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments because they were always on Saturdays... I did well in some unofficial tournaments though (two wins, a second place, and a third place). Man, it's been a long time since I played... I wouldn't mind getting into it again but I stopped buying cards years ago and they probably banned at least half of the cards in my decks by now so it would be tough to get back into it.

Hey.
Not sure if I mentioned this, but I'm playing summer softball. Minus one girl who goes to a private school, everyone else on my team played for either JV or Varsity this spring, whereas I didn't make the team. Add that to the fact that I never really fit in with the softball crowd in the first place and you get a really awkward Saber Knight. Today was our first game, and, though I struck out on my first at-bat, my second one I got a grounder out, and my third one I got a hit, which was really exciting. I've had a really bad streak the past three seasons where I didn't get a hit for the first like 4 games or so. To think I used to be one of the best players. Ugh.
Anyways, everything was going great, I got to second due to a walk, and then coach gives me the sign to steal. Okay, MAYBE that's sane if you're having me steal second, but telling ME, a VERY slow runner who KNOWS that she's slow, to steal THRID is freaking suicide! But, I'm not about to go against my coach's orders, so I steal. I'm about 2/3 of the way there when the third baseman catches the ball and makes to tag me. Since I'm still a few feet away and running to her would just be an automatic out, I turned around, hoping to just cause enough confusion that I'd get to third. Unfortunately, the girl at second (she stole it from first while I was stealing) didn't get the memo that she's supposed to just stay there and make sure we get the base. So I stopped running to try to indicate to her to go back to 2nd... but instead she took off for 1st. End result: We both get out, and Saber feels like a huge idiot.
Yayyy....

Hey, sorry about the bad mess-up at softball Saber, I play baseball, but trust me, the scenario you described even happens in the pro leagues, signals mixed-up, and confusion is accomplished, but for the people running, not the people fielding, it sucks, I should know, I have been the one trapped in the confusion like you, and also the one who causes the confusion, but anyway, good luck for the rest of the season, and hope the team gets its signals understood. And working as a team.

Hey, Grassaquil? If you don't mind, I'm going to fix that post, because that is way too many commas for a single sentence and it made my brain hurt. Also, the only place you actually used a period was incorrect and resulted in a fragment. Next time, let's try something like this:
Out of curiosity... what is your first language?Hey, sorry about the bad mess-up at softball Saber; I play baseball, but trust me, the scenario you described even happens in the pro leagues. "Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! JAST released a partial list of their upcoming visual novel releases. I'm pleased to see that they're focusing a lot more on story focused titles (a lot of Nitro+ games, the sequel to Aselia, etc) instead of H heavy titles for a change.
In other news, I ended up with two free tickets to the nearby water park. Unfortunately, my friends who wanted to go to the water park moved away a couple weeks ago but I guess I can go twice by myself. Haven't been there for a long time since the admission fee is kinda high considering the size of the park but hey, even if I get bored after a couple hours that's fine since it's a free pass and all. I think I'll sneak out for a couple hours today and give it a try...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
*Yawn* Moi,
Well, after staying up for 31 hours yesterday, I went to sleep at 10pm...and woke up at 4:30 today...so I slept 18 ½ hours, straight. Blah, I feel like a sloth...or a koala. And -arg- I can't write today. I keep mis-spelling words and missing important capitalizations. Maybe trying to make a few posts before having some coffee was a bad idea...
Also, sleeping for long periods of time can lead to getting some sore muscles. It feels like my shoulder needs to crack or something.
Anyway, time to get some coffee and...ummm...do something...I'll probably work out my fingers/thumbs with some Lego Star Wars. Later I might do some sudoku or make some toast. Both of those, at this time, sound like some real brain teasers.

Thanks Silver for the auto-correct, I guess going to french immersion school until grade 5 was a bad idea. I probably did it again with that sentence.

Ah, I see. It didn't seem like the kind of mistake people make because they spend too much time sending text messages... those usually involve lack of punctuation. Strange sentence structure is usually the influence of another language (since they tend to be different from English in that regard) so I was curious.
We take grammar pretty seriously around here, since people can be hard to understand if it isn't properly applied. I'd like to think that it's helped a lot of people's English grades too, but I haven't gotten much confirmation on that.

Thanks, I try and keep the standard of Pebble Version, but I probably will falter, beause the frenh language was really focused on for the first 6 years of schooling, and that kind of sentene structure, I am kind of used to. I probably did it again, let me see, one period, 7 commas, dang it, twice in one post.

Moi,
So...about an hour ago, I found a cork and some matches**...and I remembered something my mom used to do for my animal costumes for Halloween when I was young, so...yeah. I burnt the end of the cork and made a bit of a mess...so I cleaned up the bathroom sink, and thought "Wait...I could do something possibly epic with this!". So, I now have carbon dust under my eyes and I look like a reject racoon furry without the tail and ears...and fur...and, yeah...or I just look really tired...which I am.
I've noticed that most of the time, the only other "member" that is with me on PV is GoogleBot...He/She is my only real/unreal friend here. Also, everyone knows bots can be the best kinds of friends! (Occasionally YahooBot is on and, very rarely, BingBot. BingBot sounds sketchy though...as does this new bot, GigaBot...they sound pretty sketchy...)
**Don't try this around flamable matrials...or inside...or at home. Do this at a friend's home. You can blame it on their cat/parrot.***
***Yes! I am sleep deprived! Thank you for asking/not asking!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I've been helping my dad sell some stuff on ebay and today's the day I have to pack it all up and take to to the post office. How "exciting".
To answer Colly's question, yes JAST will be releasing Saya no Uta. The other Nitro+ titles announced were Kikokugai, Hanachirasu, Sumaga, and Outlaw Django. Supposedly, they won't take nearly as long to translate as Demonbane did. They also announced the sequel to Aselia the Etneral and some H game that I couldn't care less about. They also said that they'll be announcing even more titles tomorrow at their Anime Expo panel.
BTW grass, just to let you know, we tend to correct each other's grammar a lot, so don't feel bad if you've given a lot of corrections. We're trying to be helpful, not mean. On the subject of commas, their use is somewhat based on personal preference but it can be easy to over use them. One strategy is to say a sentence out loud and put commas in places where you naturally pause. It's not the most grammatical way to go, but it's an easy way to do a quick check. In general though, commas are used to seperate sections of a sentence that could be removed without destroying the sentence, like this part right here, to seperate the items of a list (such as apples, oranges, and strawberries, or this list I'm making of places to use commas), or before words like but (though only at certain times). I'd explain in more depth, but right now I should get back to packing that ebay stuff.
