Round 4: The Village of Shadows

[Dark Gentleman]

"You cowards! You're a disgrace to your entire planet! When I get out of this you're really gonna get it!" D.G. yelled as he focused all his efforts on getting free.

After a couple of minutes of struggling, D.G. managed to get completely untangled. The other team, however, had long since dissapeared down the road.

[Dark Gentleman]

"Crap, I can't believe they got away... Oh well, at least now I know some of their abilities and equipment like I planned from the beginning. I was hoping to learn more, but I guess this is enough for now... besides I have to check on those people they captured." D.G. said as he used his super speed to quickly get to the park. "That said, they left them in a forest so they're probably right where I was going to anyway."

D.G. managed to find his way to the park without too much trouble. He ended up near an empty gazeebo in a large grassy area. Around him, people were strolling, chatting, playing games, and the like. While this area of the park was very open, it looked liked the Northern section was heavily forested. Several paths led into the trees at different points.

[Dark Gentleman]

"Alright, there the forest is!" D.G. shouted happily as he began running down one of the paths. "Hello, is anyone there?!" He called as he made his way past the trees.

((There are four paths. From West to East, let's just call them 1, 2, 3, and 4. Which did you take?))

D.G. found himself on a narrow path which seemed to be slowly winding its way North. At one point, he thought he heard some shouting off to the West somewhere, but the sound vanished quickly.

[Winters Rage]

"Hmm?" Chris tilted his head "You found a clue? And another team took it from you? Well, what did it say?" He asked the group.
"Do you guys really not know a way out of this forest? I came from over there." Chris said, pointing to his place of originality. "I could probably figure out how to get back." He said, sifting through his bag of popcorn, then popping on into his mouth.

((Didn't I have him leave a trail of popcorn, or is that just me?))

"It was a little sticker thing that said "What you seek lies beneath. I think the portal in in the sewer." I then look around trying to think about the way we came in and I can not recall. "I'm not sure which way is out either....."

D.G. began to retrace his steps and headed west towards where he was sure the sound had come from. "Hello?! Did I hear anyone?!" He called out.

D.G. headed in the direction he thought he'd heard the sound. After a little while, he thought he could hear some people talking in the distance.

[Dark Gentleman]

"Hello, anyone there?!" D.G. called as he got closer.

[Josiah]

Team 2 (Takeru, Todd, Capperoff, Kako) + Chris
The group suddenly heard someone shouting off to the East, though they can't make out what he was saying.

"Did you just hear something?" Says to everyone.
