Rare Pokémon Give Aways
Rare Pokémon Give Aways
Toys R Us is giving away "Ash's" pikachu betwee Jan 30 and Feb 5th for D/P/P and HG/SS.
Gamestop is giving away shiny versions of the three legendary dogs at certain times in January and February. Even better, trading them all into B/W (once they're released in English) unlocks something.
Raikou: January 3rd – January 9th
Entei: January 17th – January 23rd
Suicune: January 31st – February 6th
There's also rumors of Gamestop doing a Celeby event a bit later this year but nothing official yet.
I'm gonna be in Japan for all of these but if anyone gets the dogs and pikachu and wants to trade them to me I'd appreciate it. I've got a complete set of legit pokémon, some shinies and promos, and lots of rare items, any of which I'd be willing to trade.

Should be able to hook you up, Josiah, assuming you'll accept slightly cloned Pokemon. As in, back up save and trade off, all that.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I'm perfectly fine with that, I do it myself when I need an extra copy of something rare.

Re: Rare Pokémon Give Aways
I have three of each and can make clones. Also, two of Ash's Pikachu from the Toys R Us Giveaway.
I honestly just expected to have to clone because I assumed it would be HG/SS only... but since I could get it in Diamond and Pearl as well, that just made it easier. But I only had SS and Diamond with me when I went to get the special Pikachu...

Very cool! I will definately be trading you at some point. Actually, I suppose any time would be ok since I have Diamond and HG with me in Japan.
Oh, and there's one more givaway coming up. It's for the US version of B/W over Nintendo Wi-Fi from Mar 6 - Apr 10 (good chance I'll need to trade someone again). They're giving away Victini.

Celebi started today. Remember guys, this Celebi will give you an event that lets you fight Giovanni.
Re: Rare Pokémon Give Aways
It also unlocks a Zorua in Black and White when transferred across.
Also, the shiny beasts unlock an encounter with Zoroark as well
Only the event pokemon will work.

Remember, I'll be trading for all of these once I get back in the US. If I don't go back then I guess I'll do so once my Wii makes it to Japan so I can easily dupe good trade pokémon with Ranch.
Re: Rare Pokémon Give Aways
The Celebi I'm going to pick up when I get my copy of White. Should be good, can't wait.
Re: Rare Pokémon Give Aways
So, I hear that the Celebi can't be traded. Anyone have any confirmation on this?

Through online, yes.

...Meaning, you can't trade them over Wi-Fi. They can only be traded over local wireless.

Re: Rare Pokémon Give Aways
They're really doing that? Sheesh... It'd bad enough that I can't back up my save data for Ranch or Battle Rev...
