Suggestion

I saw that suggestions could be made here.

I've made several forums using Phbb3, I've also helped Moderate forums on the same system. I am a regular member on http://www.avpgalaxy.net. My suggestion is this: A recreational area where post count is restricted.

What I mean is, instead of having a bunch of game areas, take all of those and put them in a new place labled "Recreational Room" After you've done this, restrict the post count, meaning you can post, but your posts don't go toward your post count.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can tell you've had a lot of forum experience. If this were any other forums, I'd probably agree that that would be a good idea. Here though, no one really makes a big deal about their post count (people like that usually don't last long here) and, outside of contests like this one, the game threads don't seen a particularily huge amount of activity. So yeah, it's a good idea in general but not reall neccessary on these forums.

Yeah I see your point. No offense but it kind of seems like there are only a handful of regular members.

None taken. PV is a moderately popular comic but not a wildly successful one. Plus the forums tend to be slower paced (except during this contest) and we're big on proper spelling and grammar and down on trolling so a lot of people don't stick around.

Yeah, it's hard to come across decent people on the web these days.
